@nomadghada more from that month

I am jobless (again) As you (2-3 guys that still read me) know I have been using read.cash as my personal dairy for some time. Previously I had written about my past job troubles, how I was so miserable in my previous job and how I wanted to get out of there but no one was supporting me. But I gathered some courage and resigned without telling anyone. I didn't had a job or any backup, just wanted to be free of that place. Gosh! that was 4 years ago, how time flies & I have been on read.cash even longer. When I got my latest job, it was a blessings from the Gods. I went from being miserable to happy in a good environment. Now after 4 years of service I have been laid off 😞 My job has been moved to Poland 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞 Nothing against Polish people but it came as a shocker that a job can even get outsourced to Poland. Just 2 days ago I had my scheduled call with my manager to discuss regular work related activities when just after greetings she informed me of the layoff. Then HR joined in and filled in with the formalities. Just like that the job was gone. I was asked to send in my resign so that it doesn't look bad on my resume and my access to be terminated in 3 hours. Yesterday got a call from IT to submit my company issue laptop (they even took back the mouse). Finally today I went to the office submitted all the IT assets as well as my access card and with that now I am unemployed (again). Digging deeper with some friends I found out that it has been a trend now and many of the employees have been laid off similarly. My friend in IT told me one guy had just required access to Slack and within half an hour his offboarding got created. Similarly this has been happening with a lot of people at this company I heard about many more people who were either too old or were too expensive got laid off. And its a trend across the Tech industry with many organizations moving jobs to Mexico, Poland and the likes. Now here I am without a job and a head full of worries. Not sure what I am going to do. How long will the savings last? All I can think about now is to first of all write, Then I am trying to relax and get my head straight Because my last company broke me not just physically but mentally as well. I was exhausted and burnt out. Still I tried to give my latest company everything I had. I guess it wasn't enough. (Sometimes it never is). Now I will try to get my mind sorted and healed before finding some new employment I still have positive feeling for my latest company and still feel that its aa good organization with good policies and environment. They care about work-life balance and were supportive. I am sad it had ended like this but somewhere in heart I knew this was coming, I could pick up the signs in the behaviors and organizational restructurings that were happening. I am also somewhat glad and relieved that it has happened. I was getting tired of the work I was doing and how for 4 years my career hasn't progressed, no promotions or recognitions. Now we have a new CEO and when the new guy come in at the top he/she shakes up the organization to make a mark. Even though I am glad that this job is over I am worried about the future (read terrifieed) I don't want to go back into some toxic organization again that is going to suck life out of me again. This latest organization was different, nice even , but it had to end. Anyways! that's all I have for now. **Wish me Luck!** (*If anyone is even reading this*)
