My Football Idol - Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions
As a child, I used to watch cartoons for hours. It was an idol for me. Putting the nostalgia aside, let's examine how good Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions has been.
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions years ago, "Hawk Strike!" It is the kind of game that will delight the players who fight over who will be Tsubasa and who will be Hyuga. The two different story modes in the game allow us to both experience the story of Tsubasa and create our own legend.
Pros
+ Opportunity to play Tsubasa's story
+ We can make and develop our own football player
+ Story mode with RPG elements
+ Fun gameplay
+ Musics
+ Animations
Cons
- PC version is full of bugs
- Gameplay is too simple
- Constant cuts in the story
- Football player selection in defense is a complete torment
- Doesn't have deep gameplay like old games
The first mod, Episode: Tsubasa, tells the story of Tsubasa Ozora, the captain of the Nankatsu Middle School football team. Nankatsu team became champion in national tournaments for 2 years in a row and competes for the third championship. As we follow the story of Tsubasa, who strives to go to Brazil, the heart of football, we know our rivals, with whom we will be friends after a while by fighting with the characters who have an important place in the series.
Episode: Tsubasa, which we can accept as the main story, takes an average of 12 hours. Episode: Tsubasa, which presents the story with cut scenes and special events that take place within the match, gives the opportunity to those who are strangers to the series to experience the whole story. We witness all the important events happening in the original story.
The storytelling isn't bad and follows the original story properly. But there are some points I am uncomfortable with. As you can imagine, there is a lot of conversation in this mode. The characters meet, challenges are made, the game gives you small tutorials about gameplay. But there is so much talk that after a while you come to the state of "Come on, let's get into the match now." The bad thing is that this situation does not end in the match.
There are some events planned to be in the match. In special situations such as the twins going on the air ball or the one-on-one fight between Tsubasa and the opponent, the game takes the intermediate stage. In fact, even if there are scenes that bring the actor to the gas, there are some situations that hit the gameplay with an ax. For example, the twins have a cutscene with certain goals. This intermediate scene, which takes place when the ball passes to someone for the first time, comes into play even if the ball comes in front of their own castles. The head shot that crosses the entire field and enters the goal is annoying.
All in all, Episode: Tsubasa is a fun, nice story mode to teach you how to play the game, but not everyone will get warm. Old fans will enjoy seeing familiar scenes, while newbies will witness a beautiful story if they manage to follow them without getting bored.
To Be Japan's Best
Episode: New Hero, the second story mode of the game, also offers us the interesting side of the game. New Hero, in which we created our own football player, allows us to choose between three different schools. The football player, whom we are free to create as we wish, becomes the protagonist of the story that differs according to the school he chooses.
While playing in New Hero mode, we get opportunities such as talking to other players and earning points according to the choices we make and making friends with them. Thanks to the experience points we gained in the matches and what we learned from our friends, we find the opportunity to improve ourselves and teach our character the special kicks of the players.
I can say that New Hero is the point where the gameplay really shines. There are cut scenes again, but this time we can concentrate more on the game. We are developing our character, striving for him to perform well in the matches and working on his post-match training. I can say that it is similar to the career mode found in other sports games.
Although the game initially suggests the story of Tsubasa, if you get tired of the interruptions there, I suggest you switch to New Hero mode instead of quitting the game. You will see that many points that annoy you are not in this mode.
Tiger Shot
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is a soccer game. While Tsubasa games, which were previously released on NES and Playstation 2 consoles, have a turn-based, more RPG-like gameplay, we make real-time matches with the new game. Nevertheless, don't think of serious football games like FIFA or PES.
Although we play a game of soccer at its core, there is much more to it than football here. First of all, there is no such thing as a foul in the game. There are activities such as shooting that will be hospitalized if it comes to normal people, entering the player running with the ball with a flying kick, climbing the goal post and stopping the ball with the face coming from the air. The only rule I have seen properly applied is offside.
Team players have a certain power and we try to reach the opposing goal and score goals by using this power properly. With the ball with us, we try to move the ball between the players and get closer to the goal and make shots that will completely fill the power bar and pierce the goal. When the ball passes to the opposing team, we have to grab the ball back with the player that the game has given us at that time.
*Special strokes have visuals that are just like the anime series.*
The gameplay is actually enjoyable, especially when you get close to the goal and shoot full power, "*LET'S GO!*" Waiting excitedly causes us to be excited. But there are some problems. For example, you fill a bar while shooting or passing and its distance and power are determined according to how full it is. Although there is not much problem in passing, there is a big problem in shooting. The normal shots we shoot get stuck with his head. I aim and swing the castle, the ball flies straight to the right of the castle. Shots that manage to reach the goal fail to reduce the goalkeeper's energy. Usually, you play all the matches with a goal-scoring tactic by delivering the ball to special players such as Tsubasa, Hyuga or Misaki.
When the ball crosses the other side, the real struggle begins. Worst of all, this fight is not against the opponent, but against your own team. The game stubbornly gives you the closest player, you change players by pressing the change button, but the hoop is still a completely different player. The ball rolls idle, there is a player closer and faster but the game gives you the player behind it. You are trying to change it, your other player passes by the ball but does not take it, the opponent comes and grabs the ball while you are running to get it. There are simple mechanics, why can't we control them?
As a result, although the gameplay is very fun, after a while you will be tactically depleted and start repeating. The challenges are visually satisfying but at their core a simple arcade soccer game. In this respect, I want to say that the RPG atmosphere of the old games is deeper and more fun.
**Game Breaking Shots**
Let's come to the technical parts of the game. I have the PC version of Rise of New Champions and normally planned to finish this review sooner. However, the time I played got longer when I had to play some story matches 4 or 5 times due to existing bugs.
Developed by Tamsoft Corporation (Gintama Rumble, Onechanbara Z2, Senran Kagura), who previously worked on anime games, the PC version of the game performs very interesting. You realize that even while the game is opening, you are stubbornly staying in the window mode and you have to struggle to switch to full screen.
Some bugs come across in the harmless but annoying category. For example, there are errors such as the announcer starting the second sentence without waiting to finish his own word while entering the match, the characters speaking at light speed when you take it full screen, the intermediate videos playing 10x. They are uncomfortable but can be accepted as they do not have a direct effect on gameplay. Exiting full screen and re-entering may be the solution, but not always.
Errors in the second category are of the kind that can be considered more difficult. I mentioned some of the events that took place in the story part. There are a couple of intermediate scenes where we meet Nitta, the captain of the opponent team, in the first match. In order for these scenes to take effect, Tsubasa and Nitta must meet on the field. These kinds of encounters that should trigger the scene cause the game to crash from time to time. Later in the story, I had similar difficulties, so it's not a one-off situation and it happens completely randomly. Sometimes I cannot express your disappointment when the game freezes on the victory screen of a match you barely won.
I also wanted to try the online mode of the game, but I haven't had a chance to find a decent match so far. As far as I understand, there is a problem with their online servers and therefore we cannot find players. So I played against a friend with Steam Remote Play and we enjoyed it. I think we can make very enjoyable matches if the servers improve.
My Personal Analysis as a Conclusion
***Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions*** is a game that the audience who watched the anime on TV, followed the manga, even learned Japanese characters in the ataris (we all thought in Arabic) and played the NES game during Rise of New Champions. It has technical problems, the gameplay mechanics are problematic, but it is a fun Tsubasa game. There is also the opportunity to make our own character and fight against other youth teams in the world with Tsubasa and others. I would also recommend it to players who do not have a special connection with Tsubasa but are curious, who want to play a not very serious football game. I can recommend it if you want a game that is not too serious.
As a result, the game is very enjoyable and has a gameplay that almost every player can enjoy. I can say that it is easy to learn, but intermediate to master. I have to admit that I missed the old, turn-based system a bit while playing. It could have been a much deeper and more fun gameplay. Still, it was a nice game. Considering the problems affecting the gameplay, I do not recommend that you hurry and buy it immediately. At the very least, you can expect updates to fix their crash issues.
eFootball PES 2021 Review for MyClub Fans
It was a different review article for me. The PES series is famous for changing the gameplay mechanics every year. We have also encountered games that are much worse than the previous year's game. For a while, Konami harassed the players with the changes made in basic football mechanics such as ball physics, game speed, passing and shooting system. Especially PES 2010 has a good place in the memories of many gamers. The Pes series, which showed a certain downward trend until 2017, gave the first signals of a return with the radical changes made after 2017. The gameplay mechanics changes made every year were the first stones lined up on the way to a more simulated game experience. Until this year. Konami took the eFootball PES series to rest this year, whose name has changed and refers to esports. Focusing on the new generation, the Konami developer team, being honest with the players, asked their loyal fans for a short break, saying that we did not develop in PES 2021 this year, we focused on the new generation. So let's see what eFootball PES 2021, which is offered as a season update, promises game lovers.
Pros
+ Artificial intelligence moves more consistently
+ Online matches are enjoyable
+ MyClub mode
+ Reasonable price
+ Konami's honesty
Cons
- Very little innovation
- Connection problems persist
- Jerseys and squads are out of date
- Classic license issues
First of all, I want to start the review starting from the famous license problems of the PES series, which is one of the most curious topics of gamers. Yes, this problem still persists. In other words, the name licenses of many important teams and Champions League European League major tournaments are not in the game this year. This is one of the biggest shortcomings that takes away from the atmosphere of the game this year, as it does every year.
Let me also state that there is no change in the start menu, which has a more user-friendly appearance with small changes every year. The biggest innovation in this menu is the football player photos in the background! At least they thought of replacing them and the music album with very impressive songs.
Last year, we talked about the innovations that PES 2020 brought to the series. New camera angles, changes in gameplay mechanics, dribbling, shooting passes and more precise ball control, as well as fundamental changes to the defense system. Especially in shoulder-to-shoulder struggles, the players who do not avoid physical contact using their hands to dominate the opponent in the air balls were the innovations that the PES players, whom Fifa players have experienced for years, will finally say that we have seen the following double struggles in PES. Although he still cannot act like a football player, the lack of animation variety of the PES series that we are accustomed to in PES 2020 was still a huge step forward for the series, PES 2020.The changes made in the Main League mode are from Konami's most established game mode in the series. showing that he was still not giving up hope.
Making a transfer has become more enjoyable, seeing that the player you have received can have a positive or negative effect on the team not only technically but also as motivation, interacting with the players thanks to the new dialogue system, and following the effects of your talks on the player are among the innovations that make the Main League feel more realistic. was taking place. Thanks to the constantly updated transfer data, real-world developments could be transferred to the game quickly. Taking the first eleven players from the youth team and the infrastructure to witness that the little boy growing in your hand turns into a superstar in front of your eyes, Perhaps seeing that your team from the Super League is starting to compete with the world giants is the most basic element that makes the Main League enjoyable. All these innovations made in the last year, which I have not mentioned all of, appear as it is this year. As a small innovation, we can mention that the Coaches we chose when starting the Master League have changed. However, unfortunately, there is no Turkish manager among the new coaches.
However, if we say that there is no change in eFootball PES 2021 in terms of gameplay, it would be wrong. I can say that the game feels even heavier than PES 2020. Player movements look a bit more realistic and they move more fluidly and naturally. The developer team has made a small touch. The same touch applies to artificial intelligence, especially if you are playing at the highest difficulty level, the accurate decisions made by the artificial intelligence and the development of organized attacks will surprise you. Wing organizations are one on one to solve the game that is locked in the middle area this year as well. In the game where it is very difficult to play, it is very difficult to make a mistake by constantly passing and waiting for the opponent to make a mistake, seeing that the balls you throw deep are far from being effective, forces you to change the direction of the attack by throwing long balls from one wing to the other.
Despite the radical changes made in the rust system, it is still difficult to say that this mechanic works flawlessly. You still pass a meter to the man next to you and the way you pass to the deep assault player who cross-runs is technically the same. So here now, a lack of fine tuning is noticeable. A new system where you can take more subtle rust needs to come. In shots, we can say that the expected development is finally realized. You feel the weight of the ball when we shoot. You realize how much effort the developer team is working on ball physics when a long distance shot meets the nets. The ball's reaction on slower shots, harder and more technically, feels like it should be. However, the development in ball physics, unfortunately, does not appear in the dynamics of collision in player physics. Collision dynamics still don't work properly. Footballers do not touch the ball at their feet at some moments, sometimes the movements of holding and pulling in front of the opponent in shoulder-to-shoulder struggles work quite smoothly, sometimes it is not possible to make body contact to stop the running opponent. Konami needs to spend a little more time on this dynamic. And of course on the referees! Irrelevant fouls, yellow cards instead of red cards, always misuse of advantage rule. Imagine my reaction to the referees during the game!
In the graphics, there is not much innovation other than a small polish. We are now in the last stages of the Fox Engine game engine. We can even say we are at the end. Probably the game we saw this year will now be the last game to use Fox Engine. With PES 2022, Konami will open a new page with a game that looks completely different. Turkey Super League efootball PES 2021 are also included. However, I should mention that the squads are still not up to date and even the jerseys are the jerseys of the last season. There are even 4 stars in Fenerbahçe's uniform! So I would say don't expect innovation on the jersey side and across the Super League. However, the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, which was postponed due to the Pandemic, is licensed in the game.
So, who should get eFootball PES 2021? If you are a player who has played PES 2020 for long hours like me, has tried to bring your club to the level of 5 in the Main League, which has not been stuck in MYClub mode, and you have occasionally played online matches, eFootball PES 2021 does not offer anything new for you. I have to specify. For example, since no updates have been released yet, Super League teams, team jerseys, player faces, match atmosphere, gameplay mechanics, everything you can think of is the same as PES 2020. He even announced that the Japanese developers, including the famous announcers of the series, could not reach them this year, and that the same voices will be used in the game. In other words, eFootball PES 2021 is just a season update as Konami stated. So what is this season update? Where does the difference arise? Of course in MyClub mode. I can say that the My Club mode is more lively compared to the other modes of the game, with new tournaments coming and its active market with constantly updated player powers.
Finally my personal analysis
In other words, we can say that this season update package is made for players who actively play the My Club mode of the game. The increase in iconic players also increases the enjoyment of MyClub mode. It's a great pleasure to play with legends like Del Piero, Maradona and Beckham. Of course, if our opponent has both Messi, Bergkamp and Maradona at the same time, then a little Chinese torture awaits you. Although there is not much change in terms of menu side and features, small changes in the tactical formation scheme will at least please the players who expect innovation in this mode.
Despite everything, we should congratulate him for his honesty. They could have presented this game to us as the brand new PES, but they were honest and openly said it was a season update. Despite the companies that have been selling the same game under different year names for years, this honest act is appreciated, I recommend eFootball PES 2021 to those who have had affordable PES experience and who missed the game last year and MyClub fanatics.
Played a Nostalgic Game - Mafia Definitive Edition
***Welcome to my review of Mafia Definitive Edition, a remake of the 2002 original Mafia game developed by Hangar 13.*** Compared to the two remastered games of the series, I am faced with a game that we can consider solid in many ways. I wonder if I'm mad at Hangar 13? When I began to regret it, what I went through was priceless. There is a stir in my heart for the game, but I am still very angry with Hangar 13.
You know, they are software that uses 3D rendering features on the basis of games. We can describe it as the flesh and bones of the codes. The remake for the Mafia Definitive Edition brought the flesh and skin, atmosphere and texture surrounding the bone closer to today's standards. However, there are still a few cracks and broken bones. This is the part that I just mentioned, "I would regret just getting angry". Before I praise the rest of the game, I should definitely warn those who are considering to mention this place and buy it.
Pros
+ Textures and atmosphere look great
+ Car driving mechanics are very successful
+ Cinematics are completely new and beautiful
+ Animations are satisfying
+ Some characters are given more space
Cons
- Optimization problems but not very noticeable
- The game freezes and shuts down frequently. You can lose your progress
- There are graphical errors in places
Although I think it is getting old, my current computer system is above the recommended system requirements for Mafia Definitive Edition. This shows that I should be able to play the game fluently at high settings - if we accept it as 60 FPS according to the standards of fluency established. In this sense, I can say that the game is watching around 45-50 FPS. "How much did that wear out to your gaming experience?" If you say, I didn't even call. By lowering the settings, I could sacrifice the visuals and get 60 FPS fixed, but what I saw made me very happy, so I did not interfere. Still, it's hard to say it's a big optimization problem.
Another issue is the software bugs in the game. I ran into a few bugs that I would have trotted off to remedy if I could really understand why it was happening, and they ruined my gaming experience. The most annoying of these, and the first, the game gets stuck. This stutter is not like instant FPS drops, the game completely hangs and does not respond to any commands from my controller or my computer. As if this is not enough, you cannot close the game in any way. I've had this problem 4 times in 7 hours, it really causes you to lose your will to play if you enter the game with high expectations. I also saw this happen to many players like me, but there are also those who play the game without any problems. I have to specify that too.
Another error I encountered while playing is that the game quits without even giving you any error report. Just when you have the most exciting or most pleasing atmosphere, it closes with a frown without even saying "Come on, thank you, see you". I've experienced this so often that I used experimental means to understand what triggered it. When I switched the driving mode from the simulation setting to the "Regular" setting, I noticed that it decreased, but it is still not a radical solution. We are facing a different software problem. Apart from that, people who stayed on the black screen after the game was opened and people who experienced many different problems also expressed their complaints in the community. Again, let's say there are people who do not encounter this problem. These are not the problems that everyone who plays on their computer, but they can also happen on your computer. Remember that you will enter into this gamble when you decide to purchase the game.
Putting aside software glitches and what does the Mafia Definitive Edition look like? The answer I can give to that if we ask is "Yes, there is no packaging smell, but it's a new game!" would be in the form. Perhaps this was the most satisfying aspect of me. It is delightful to walk around all those streets that we roamed and steered in the original Mafia with high-resolution textures and many improved effects. Also, the vehicle driving dynamics and material handling are really good. Metal is really like metal, water really reacts to ambient lights and reflections like water.
In this part, too, maybe only I have experienced it, but there are a number of problems. Whether due to motion blur or Anti-Aliasing mode, the front tires of the vehicle cause some kind of visual distortion when turning left and right. I just leave the image of this problem at the bottom, which I do not know exactly how to describe it. Apart from that, it is a pleasure to wander the streets of the city and the peaceful-looking countryside with old-fashioned vehicles and to watch the surroundings.
Speaking of cars, I can say that the Mafia Definitive Edition got a full score in this regard. This is not a compulsory situation, but it would be really great if there was a camera inside the vehicle in the game and we could use this camera while driving. You can feel air in the tires like in the Mafia II, but also the suspensions work great. It responds exactly as it should in variable situations that affect tire friction, such as rain or dirt. I can say that this is a nice plus for the game we spend most of it in the car.
Apart from that, I would like to mention another point that fans expect from the remake version. Our main character Tommy Angelo is above all a taxi driver. This shows that he is not very good with weapons. Seeing that the use of weapons was criticized as if it came to the world as a mafia in the original game, Hangar 13 arranged this part well. Tommy can no longer shoot like soldiers with excellent weapon training from special forces. Weapons ricochet heavily and reload speed is slower than before. Don't expect a huge slowdown though, as reloading too slow in an action game could be extremely annoying.
Mafia Definitive Edition looks completely revamped with its cinematics. All the cinematics recorded from the beginning support the already wonderful story with both the facial expressions and the visual quality. Both the changing camera angles during the dialogues and the level of detail make cinematics very successful.
In Mafia Definitive Edition, our only favorite "Sarah" spends more time in front of the screen, as the developers have previously stated. I must say that I especially liked this one. Because I think the character of Sarah adds a completely different dimension and color to the game. The character, whose gestures you can also read with his renewed graphics, creates therapeutic effect after all that mafia life, collecting tribute and beating a man. The emotional side of the game is also a bit more prominent in this way.
***You don't need to steal them to drive different cars while playing Mafia Definitive Edition***
There is a section dedicated to this as "**Carcyclopedia**". In this section, which we can call your car library, you can see all the cars you encounter in the game. You can see the technical features of these and change their interior and exterior colors and take test drives. It's also nice to add such an option to a rock-solid car driving mechanics. In addition, two vehicles given as gifts in other remastered games of the series are also available in this game. The Samson Drifter we all love is one of them. In addition, most of the cars you encounter are automatically added to your garage in the game.
However, there is also a free ride mode in the game. If it is not for you to move on the map according to the course of the story and get to know the environment, you can do whatever you want here. If you think like "*Let me discover it myself, let me taste everything*", this place will be more suitable for you. However, in this part, the software errors of the game may bother you more. Because my experience literally happened. I wanted to spend 1-2 hours with the taste of my mouth in free-ride mode, during which time I had to restart my computer many times.
My comment will be long story short
Mafia Definitive Edition is a good remake but bad software. At least until these issues are fixed. Assuming that they have been fixed, I would recommend this game with peace of mind. Whether you are a player who has licked and swallowed the Mafia series, wants to make nostalgia, or be a first-time player, he will be able to catch you in one way or another. Walk around as much as possible, enjoy. However, do not forget that you will be gambling about the software errors I have described. I hope they release an update for this. I will follow up closely and deliver updates to you via news. Stay with love and play, hope to see you in another review.
Game of My Childhood - Super Mario 3D All-Star
First of all, let's talk about the games included in Super Mario 3D All-Star. At this point, I intend to briefly talk about each game and then touch on the overall performance of the package. So let's get started with the ranking and the package contents from the first game historically.
Super Mario 64
The Super Mario 64 game, which first appeared on the Nintendo 64 platform in 1996, appears. I think Super Mario 64 has a very nostalgic and important place for you, especially if your childhood passed in the 90's. Still, let's talk about the general structure of the game and its impact on the game world for the players who missed that period.
Super Mario 64 was not the first 3D game or platform game. But at that time, he managed to be one of the productions that best used these phenomena. We can say that the dynamics that it has worked very well according to the period, and it was a source of inspiration for dozens of different games that came out later. Although the main center of the game where Princess Peach was kidnapped by Bowser once again was the castle of Peach, the game was also integrated into a rich structure with the key logic and transitions to different sections.
I can say that Super Mario 64, which was developed by 15 people led by Shigeru Miyamoto, was actually transferred to this renewed version as it is. While Nintendo added its game to the Super Mario 3D All-Satar package, it did not touch much meat milk as in the other two games. The game, which is almost 25 years old, therefore looks a bit old with its dynamics and visuality. Although it was very successful for its time, the difficulty of controlling and leaving the resolution at 4: 3 were the biggest shortcomings for me. Since you cannot control the camera exactly as you want, you can lose character control at most angles. Once you get used to the control structure, you can grasp the main dynamics more easily. Therefore, I can say that the game has a good atmosphere of nostalgia. Nevertheless, a more playable game could be encountered if at least small touches were made on these issues.
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Mario Sunshine was again one of the most important productions of the period. The water and physical elements that we are currently sniffing at were not a phenomenon we encountered often in 2002. I can say that with the apparatus (Fludd) on Mario's back, the squirt of water like a firefighter blew our minds at that time. Of course, the biggest reason for this confusion was the physics of water and what we could do with this water. We could extinguish the flames spreading to the playground, immediately dive into the sea when we ran out of water, or we could glide in the air like a flyboard by turning the apparatus on our back. As I said according to the period, these dynamics that take our minds naturally preserved their place in the new version of the game.
I can say that I did not experience the troubles I experienced in Super Mario 64 in Super Mario Sunshine, due to the fact that the game was a little more compact. In other words, along with all these dynamics, you can control the camera very comfortably. Nevertheless, camera problems can occur in fixed areas from time to time, but in normal parts, you can turn the camera angle as you wish, as in today's games. This journey of Mario and his friends to the trpoic island named Delfino, despite all this time, still has an intact and well-functioning structure.
Super Mario Galaxy
Guys, I have to say in advance that if there was no game called Super Mario Galaxy and if we had encountered this game as it is right now, I am sure nobody would have a complaint. In other words, the Super Mario Galaxy, which was released for the Nintendo Wii in 2007, is still like a stone and has features that will take today's platform games out of their pocket. As someone who had experienced and finished the game in time, I never guessed that I would find the same surprise and fun again. Naturally, Super Mario Galaxy has managed to be the smoothest and most fun game in this package.
In this first stop of the Galaxy series, which is one of my favorite series among Mario games, star collecting dynamics generally come to the fore. So you earn a star as a result of the missions in every galaxy you visit and try to unlock new galaxies. Gameplay dynamics involving planets of various sizes work almost perfectly. Normally, this operation in the Switch version of the game, which uses the motion system of the Nintendo Wii, is left to the touch screen. In other words, you control the cursor in the game with the touch screen both while collecting crystals and in various puzzles. On the one hand, its analog structure and touch screen on the other hand, this operation can force you in some moments. But I can say that it definitely does not have a negative effect on the fun of the game.
On the other hand, in the Super Mario Galaxy game, you do not encounter the minor errors or graphical obfuscations you encounter in the other two games. As I said, if the game is released in its current form, it could be praised even with its graphics. With its episode designs, boss fights and general gameplay structure, it has a structure that can carry the package even alone.
In Super Mario 3D All-Star, apart from these three games, the music albums of each game are also included. You can also access these music albums from the main menu where you can open the games separately. Again, it has very successful sounds compared to every album period. Galaxy album still manages to stand out with its orchestral music.
As a result, the Super Mario 3D All-Star package has managed to be a must-have package for any Nintendo Switch owner who likes the platform genre. The Super Mario 3D All-Star package could be a classic again with minor improvements, but Nintendo avoided making these touches and preferred to present the games as they were. If you played these games on time, I think it will be a great nostalgia for you. For those who have not experienced it before, it offers a good opportunity to see the development of Mario's most successful games. Frankly, I can say that Super Mario Galaxy, which is shown as one of the best games of all time, is a reason to buy this package even alone.
My Favorite Game Series FIFA 21
Hello everyone. Today, we will examine FIFA 21, the last game of the FIFA series, which we call itself repeating itself in recent years. There is a lot to be said for this new game, which I force myself to see differences while playing but can capture very fine details. EA's strategy for the series started to taste a bit zucchini. Without further ado, I go straight to the game.
The biggest change that stands out in the popular football game this year is that they have changed the interface theme they have been using for a long time. A new theme has now been chosen that plays blue and dark blue rather than light colors. Although the interface is technically the same, the changing color palette makes you feel like "using something new" during your time here. I guess it's the same strategy EA has followed for FIFA over the years. Each year they make you feel "like you are playing something new" and the game supposed to be new cannot go any further than that.
The fact that the interface has darker colors actually draws the player a little bit. So much so that I can say that it was less tiring for me when I was going through the panels and examining what I should read and see in various game modes. In this sense, the "change-like" initiative has been good. The main menu looks more compact. The Volta mode, which was added to the game last year and will not be left without getting bored, is among the game modes that you can play with FIFA 21 this year.
**Volta mode is here again this year**
The Volta mode was liked when it first came and it brought a new breath to the series, but I cannot say that I liked it that much this year. The basic logic is based on the story, and the real thing is street football. First you participate in simple tournaments, then an organizer discovers you, he will help you to participate in the Dubai tournament. Of course, before that, you have to beat the invited teams for the tournament that will take place in Dubai. You beat the teams one by one in different types of matches on different fields. These come in the form of matches with or without a 3v3 wall, with or without a goalkeeper, and with a 5v5 goalkeeper, again depending on the field conditions, such as wall and width. After defeating all four teams, they invite you to the Dubai tournament AND YOU HAVE A REPEAT MATCH WITH THESE FOUR TEAMS. This place is a little disappointing, you have to beat the same teams in Dubai. One of the famous names of street football as a captain is included in each team. In the tournament in Dubai, iconic names such as Kaka and Henry are your coach. After defeating the same four teams again, the stars, in other words your coaches, also challenge you, and you win the tournament by beating them.
You can also play the Volta mode in multiplayer. Just like in FUT mode, you can earn degrees by fighting against an artificial intelligence that controls the squad of selected opponents with your squad. Apart from that, you can play Volta matches online if you wish. If you wish, you can play with other players in matches where you control only one player. You can change the looks of the players in your squad with the items you bought in exchange for Volta Tokens or earned in the story mode. These are usually items such as t-shirts and shoes. Unfortunately, the Volta mod does not have a trick other than its online features this year.
We can say that FIFA 21 has taken small steps in terms of graphics this year compared to last year. Especially the faces of the football players and the details of the football players have been increased. Details such as the bending and swinging of the jersey, which we encountered in the 2016-17 games for the first time, appear in more detail in this game. The physical and graphical details such as the faces and arms of the players sweating, and the uniforms sticking to their bodies after sweating add a different pleasure to the game. However, it is difficult to say that it has experienced a big jump compared to last year. Let me also state that the difference can be understood better in this mode, as you are playing matches in constantly changing maps and different atmospheres in Volta mode.
*There are partial changes in gameplay, new AIs are more "smarter"*
Every year there are minor changes in the gameplay mechanics of the FIFA series. This year, again, FIFA 20 has progressed by adding millimetric details. It is possible to say that artificial intelligence works healthier. After a pass that lies behind the defense, all your defenders do not disintegrate, they try to protect their formation and defend according to the flow of the position. This was especially an issue after FIFA 17 that players continued to experience, albeit less, in every game of the series. It is possible to see small steps taken in artificial intelligence this year.
Free kicks also evoke FIFA 20. The tactical free kicks, which were in the game last year, continue to exist this year as well. Technically speaking, it hasn't come a long way. If you can easily take free kicks in FIFA 20, I can easily say that you will not feel foreign in the new game.
In particular, player running and dribbling have become more realistic and comfortable to handle this year. You feel very comfortable playing the rating of the player you control. Neither very high rated players feel like aliens, nor very low rated players feel like they're pulling a horse carriage. There are also some changes in skill moves, you can eliminate opponent defense more easily by making some combinations and increase your game pleasure. Compared to last year, the biggest change in this regard has been in terms of player running. Running or sneaking behind is no longer at the mercy of artificial intelligence. You can control the runs and develop your own tactics. Although it takes some time to get used to it, it improves the tactical experience of the game.
Also, while defending, the players do not get caught in each other and fall down one by one. Although it sounds ridiculous, we witnessed such scenes in last year's collision system. This year, more intelligent AIs prevent you from falling into stupid situations by making more accurate movements in both defense and attack positions.
FUT has become more social and interactive in the new season
In FIFA 21 FUT mode, you will now be able to play matches with any of your friends in a cooperative game mode, ie co-op. You will earn rewards from the games you play together and make your progress together. This feature, which has been requested by the community for years, has finally been added to the game. You progress by creating your teams together and fighting against the opponents together. With this new cooperative mode, you can play with a friend against artificial intelligence in the "Squad Battles" mode. It is also possible to simultaneously play against players who play alone or with a friend like you.
In addition, thanks to new FUT events and missions, you can improve your squad faster and earn packs. You can buy packs with the in-game currency you earn, as well as win new packs with many missions in the style of "win 4 matches". These packs include players, jerseys, new crests, and stadium customizations. You can design your own stadium. Ratings of FUT player cards are also rising live. In other words, you can feel it in the game when a player is on your way to become a brilliant football player in the world. Updating features. I can say that the stadium privatizations have been very good. You can customize many parts from cheers to stadium music and enjoy them in the matches you host.
**What has changed since last year?**
In terms of both the interface and the variety of game modes, FIFA 21 does not promise huge differences compared to last year. The interface design you are used to and the game modes you have seen before are also in the game this year. In this sense, let's point out that the change is minimal and if you are not a solid FIFA fan, you have to play for a long time before you notice. The biggest change this year has been in terms of artificial intelligence, collision systems and tactics. As I mentioned, artificial intelligence does not cause you to play with the only player standing when there are 4 people in defense by stuck and falling together. Instead of falling directly, they stagger and continue to play where they left off.
In FIFA 21, you will have a team that settles better in attacking positions and does not immediately fall apart on defense. This makes the game more satisfying for you. Bugs such as world star players falling into offside positions in an unlikely event have been fixed and now they act according to their ratings. You can feel it while playing. FUT mode has become a more interactive and more social mode this year. I can say that FUT, where players spend the most time in FIFA games, has become more meaningful and beautiful this year. The increased interaction of the game online also indicates that it will not bore you easily and you can find something to do at any time.
**Long story short**
FIFA 21 is a game that I can recommend for you if you have been playing for a long time by following the series constantly. However, if you are not very familiar with the FIFA series and football games are starting to match your new star, I have to recommend cheaper games for you. Because with its high price, you have to enter this game, which is sold only for "**FIFA fans**", without very high expectations, which is difficult with its current price. If football is an important part of your life, FIFA 21 promises you an enjoyable long journey. If you plan to play FUT and progress faster, purchase the higher versions of the game. That's all I will tell you for today, we hope to see you in another review. Stay with love and play.
I Became a Spaceship Pilot - Star Wars: Squadrons
***When we first log into the game, a screen appears for us to customize our characters.*** Here, we adjust the character's face, voice, body structure and name according to our own preference for both of our characters. After completing this stage, we see a screen that allows us to choose the difficulty option in the game according to our own playing style.
After choosing the right option for us, the game welcomes us with a small cinematic. Then we start the game as a TIE Interceptor pilot. In the story part of the game, we have the opportunity to play on both sides. We switch between two sides in certain parts.
Pros
+ The atmosphere and visuality of the game
+ Environmental design and interior design
+ Variety of ship and character customizations
+ No micropayments and no lootboxes.
Cons
- Load times are quite high
- It has a partially repetitive structure.
The story part of the game consists of 14 episodes, excluding the introduction. It took me about 7 hours to complete the story at Pilot level. Although the missions seem easy at first, you start to have difficulties as you progress in the story. Although I almost never died in the first few hours of the game, when I approached the end, I died 4-5 times in almost every episode. We can say that it has a very reasonable story time for a game that focuses on multiplayer. Tasks are relatively repetitive. Although we are faced with a different environment and task in each section, the tasks are basically based on the same structure. However, even if you bought the game just for multiplayer, it is a good idea to take a look at the story. Because while playing the story, you also master the controls and basic mechanics of the game. The game aims to add something to you in terms of gameplay, even if it is small in the story part. That's all I have to say for the story part. Let's take a look at ship and character designs if you wish.
Character and ship design
There are no micropayments in the game. This is another plus of Star Wars: Squadrons. But that doesn't mean you can have every item instantly. Let's say you have a helmet cut in your eyes and you want to buy it. For this, it is a must to enter the multiplayer and level up in the game. So if you want to buy cosmetics in the game, you have to play the game enough to level up and get in-game money.
When we look at it cosmetically, I can say that there is a lot of variety in the game. You can adjust the character's race, gloves, helmet, voice and many other things. There is enough variety to create a character that suits you. Will Star Wars: Squadrons be released with additional content in the future, we will wait and see.
When we come to the ship customization department, things get a little more complicated. There are four classes in total in the game: Fighter, Bomber, Interceptor and Support. Each class has its own pros and cons. For example, Bomber class ships are better at destroying larger warships, while they are slower and cumbersome than Fighter class ships. Small details like these play a big role in the multiplayer part of the game.
The development of the ships depends entirely on how you play the game. For example, if you say "**I fly straight, I have no business maneuvering**", you can install a jet engine on your ship. When you install a jet engine, your maximum speed increases, but your maneuverability decreases significantly. The same goes for the remaining parts of the ships. As another example, you can change the shields of ships according to your choice. I liked the shield protection system called Nimble Deflector the most in terms of shields in the game. Your cooldown to reuse the shield is shortened thanks to this system, but you lose 30% of the efficiency of the shield. So every weapon, shield, engine has its own pros and cons. You can make the personalization that suits you best according to your own experience. But still it is worth repeating; You have to level up in the game to make these boosts.
Ship customization doesn't stop there. Cosmetics are not just limited to our characters. There are also a wide variety of visual modification options for ships. You can make small additions such as paint or coat of arms to your ship according to your own preference, which I do not think Electronic Arts will throw this game aside with just this amount of content. It is highly likely that we will see much more of these contents in the future. Let's not forget: The game also has a mission completion system called Operations. By completing the daily tasks in this system, you can both save money for cosmetics and have cosmetic items that cannot be obtained through purchasing and change every 2 months.
As we have mentioned the customization part of the game, let's take a look at the main focus of the game, multiplayer.
There are two game modes in the multiplayer part of the game. One of them is the Dogfight mode and the other is the Fleet Battles mode. Dogfight mode is actually a team deathmatch. You are trying to hunt the other 5-person group with your 5-person group and the first to reach the score threshold is considered the winner of the match. Dogfight mode does not take much of your time and gives you a lot of fun. Although I died, I can say that I lived the action there to my bone marrow. Behind the enemy ship and follow him, wondering if he can dodge if I throw a rocket, and when another enemy ship suddenly appears behind you and when the guided rocket fires at you, your escape efforts are all well placed. This and such events play a big role in getting you into the game. I cannot help but say that the map designs and graphics are also beautiful. In this game, it is once again revealed how quality and beautiful the Frostbite 3 engine is.
In the Fleet Battles mode, the situation becomes completely different. In this mode, our main goal is to destroy the other team's Flagship together with our team. Basically, I have to say that this game mode is the most important and demanding part of the game as it is easy. This mode also stands out as the competitive mode of the game. There are three basic stages in the mode: The first of these is the dogfight stage, the second is to destroy the ships that protect the middle class and mother ship, called Capital Ships, and the last stage is to destroy the mother ship. The first stage is basically the same as the Dogfight mode I mentioned above, but a mechanic called Morale has been added to the job as an additional feature. This is positive energy that comes to your team when you destroy a mechanical enemy warship. If this has increased in your favor, you can counterattack, but if there is an increase against you, the enemy team will attack, in which case you have to go on the defensive immediately. After completing this stage, it is time to destroy the second stage, Capital Ships. At this stage, you have to destroy the enemy's two medium-level ships. After this stage, there is no obstacle for you to destroy Flagship. To destroy the Flagship, you have to do enough damage to certain areas. Electronic Arts stated that the most effective class for this is the Interceptor.
***In this article, we tried to explain the pros and cons of Star Wars Squadrons. To sum up, although the structure of the game has a somewhat repetitive structure, the promised content makes the game playable. For now, I have to say that the most glaring problem of the game is the loading times. It took me about 15 minutes to access the main menu on the first attempt. The loading time of the missions and the multiplayer is also a little noticeable. Apart from that, if you are looking for a game that can take you for a long time and spend time during the pandemic period, it is a good idea to give Star Wars: Squadrons a chance. Hope to see you in our next review, stay well.***
The Mascot of My Playstation Console - Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time
The first three Crash Bandicoots that came to life in the hands of the Naughty Dog were one of the most popular game series on the Playstation console. I was controlling Crash, a bandikut mouse, and fighting against various enemies in 3D platform type games. With Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy released in the past years, I had the opportunity to play this trilogy again on the last generation consoles.
Pros
+ Successful department designs
+ Game enriched with new mechanics
+ Side stories that continue parallel to the main story
+ There are a lot of items that can be collected
+ A chance to choose between modern and retro game options
+ Moved one step further by adhering to the roots of the series
Cons
- Some episodes are unbalanced even by Crash standards
- It's hard to say it's a game for new players
- Low FPS on standard version consoles
- Not a platform game suitable for every gamer
The story of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time picks up where the third game left off. Our story is about Dr. Crash who was thrown into a prison in the past. Neo Cortex opens with Uka Uka and N. Tropy trying to escape. A passage opened in time as a result of Uka Uka's efforts causes our wicked to escape and the order of time is disrupted. Meanwhile, our hero Crash, who sleeps peacefully on the beach, is awakened by Aku Aku. We are starting our adventure, which will continue with Crash's brother Coco and the surprise names that will participate in the future.
As the story progresses, we encounter 4 quantum masks scattered in different places and try to stop the bad guys with the help of their powers. We have the chance to choose the one we want among Crash and Coco during the journey. In addition, different characters such as Tawna and Dingodile also appear in the story from time to time. When time and dimensions are also involved, it would be beneficial not to expect each character to have personalities that we have already known.
I found the story presentation pretty good. It is possible to see the effect of not only the main characters, but also the side characters such as Tawna. We can also say that a pretty good job has been done in the cut scenes at the beginning and end of the episodes. The cutscenes are successful both visually and in terms of voiceover.
**Bandicoot Behind the Masks**
Let's take a look at the gameplay of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, which got a passing grade in terms of story. If you've played the old games or the N. Sane Trilogy, you might remember that this game wasn't that easy. Apart from the already difficult platform elements, there is also a challenge caused by the depth perception of the game's three-dimensional nature. So if you are entering this game, do not think that you can finish it easily.
Throughout the game, we can choose any one of the Crash and Coco characters and progress. There is no difference between the two brothers in terms of gameplay. We choose the character we want and defeat the enemies in the episodes, while we are trying to overcome the obstacles and reach the end, we also try to collect fruits and jewels. There are explosive boxes as well as boxes that we can break along the way. While we have to go away within 3 seconds of jumping on top of old-style TNT boxes, Nitro boxes destroy itself at the moment of contact. The Crash formula we know and are used to has been used properly and effectively.
Although our main characters can use most of the abilities found in old games at the beginning of the game. Quantum Masks, awakened with the disruption of the order, add new mechanics to the game with their powers that provide control over spacetime. With Lani Loli, which enables us to switch between dimensions, it is possible to reveal platforms in other dimensions and to bounce attacks back by floating in the air by making high power turns with the dark matter mask Akano. Thanks to Kupuna-Wa, which controls time, we can slow down time, defeat fast opponents, and finally change the center of gravity with Ika Ika. The dual personality of Ika Ika and the comments made by the personalities against each other also make us smile from time to time.
We said that we can control other characters in the game. Tawna, a character we only tried to save in previous games, is back in a stronger and more noticeable way. Coming from a different dimension, Tawna is effective in breaking the iron boxes with a kick, neutralizing the opponents and opening long distances quickly with his hook. Other characters also have their own characteristics and gameplay. The sense of change that different characters bring to the game prevents the game from repeating itself.
In addition to the main story and side stories, there are Flashback sections where we can experience Neo Cortex's experiments on Crash. The cassettes required to open these sections are inside the sections. In order to get it, you have to go to the section where the tape is, without dying. If it feels difficult to get the tapes, you should also see these sections. We experience firsthand how brutal tests Crash has been subjected to in the past.
If you only focus on the main story, if you keep activities such as breaking all the boxes or collecting diamonds to a minimum, the game ends in 8 - 10 hours. But you miss out on a lot of things added to the game. With the side missions, it is possible to increase the playing time to 16 hours. If you are one of those who say I will chase all the collectible things, be prepared for over 30 hours of playtime. (I completed the side missions and quit. My reflexes were not enough from here)
**Sharpen Your Reflexes**
We counted a lot of different features, so how are their use and level designs in the game? Here I will say things that can be considered both good and bad. The Crash Bandicoot series has never been a game famous for its ease. Exploding boxes, paths buried in the bottom, enemies that deserve you in one shot, and perspective problems are factors that make the game seriously annoying memories. Add to this that you have a limited number of lives, and you can understand why the series is famous for its difficulty.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has managed to preserve the old mechanics and successfully add the innovations to the game. As you progress through the levels, you reach the levels that require more struggle with the masks that open. Each skill requires a separate familiarization period, and some places require you to have seriously good reflexes. These games were always difficult, but with the new mechanics, it seemed to be extra difficult. I was able to play the old games of the series in my youth, but if this game was released in those years, it feels like I would have quit before reaching half. However, it would be wrong to say that Toys For Bob is not thinking of the next generation of gamers.
Normally, you have 3 lives in Crash Bandicoot games and after these lives are over, you return to the very beginning of the game. It's a bit of a brutal system, but it's important to remember that most older generation games are cruel to death. With the fourth game, two different options are offered to play the game. Thanks to the Modern and Retro game mode options, we can play the game as we want. While Retro is the old style of gameplay I described above, we have the right to die unlimited in Modern mode. In addition, in Modern mode, there are registration points at shorter distances and supports such as masks that allow us to take damage twice when dying a lot. While playing in the modern mode, it is necessary to pay attention to the death counter that opens. If you want to get an apple in the episode, you shouldn't die more than three times.
The gameplay is very nice, the new mechanics are very well absorbed into the game and it offers a completely different game experience with different characters. But at times it becomes unnecessarily difficult. Especially at the last levels, the transitions between the masks reach a life-boring difficulty. I'm not a great platformer and I have no admiration for the Crash series other than having played and finished on time. I'm sure the fans have come prepared for this level of challenge. I became annoyed by the increasing number of boxes we had to break and the way the nitro boxes were used for the installations made just to make it difficult. Some episodes that can even annoy old players can put new players off the game.
**Dr. Technical Parts with Neo**
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is developed by Toys For Bob, who also developed Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy. Crash Bandicoot, which has survived from being a series exclusively for Sony consoles, is first releasing its new game on Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles. I expect it to be released for Switch and PC as well as next generation consoles in the future. Let's see how the situation in the current consoles.
I played the game on the standard Playstation 4 Slim console. The game, which has a resolution of 1080p, usually hovers around 40 FPS. In the PlayStation 4 Pro version, it is possible to play with a standard 60 FPS. Although I feel that the game is stuck very rarely, I can say that you can easily play it on your standard version Playstation 4 console.
The graphics look very good both in the intermediate scenes and in the game. The places and character designs you enter are quite good. There doesn't seem to be a big difference between the pro version and the regular version. You feel as if it was made for the new generation, but was prepared with the players of the current generation in mind.
Finally, I cannot pass without mentioning the section designs. We fight in many different concepts such as forest, space, icy places and pirate areas. We see that each episode reflects the atmosphere very well with its unique structure and enemies. From time to time I know that I fell into a void while looking at "how beautiful they did it". Now, we can access this visual richness even in the old standard version Playstation 4.
**My Conclusion Comment**
Toys For Bob previously successfully brought older Crash games to the current generation with the N. Sane Trilogy. With Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, they show everyone that they can do a good job not only in renovating old games, but also in making new ones. They preserved the essence of the Crash Bandicoot series and went beyond making a simple copy of the old games with the newly added features.
You feel that some parts of the game are more difficult than necessary, there are only some places where they add artificial difficulty at a level that can be called "challenge the player". The list goes on and on, with out-of-the-way lengths between control points, jumping points that accept nothing less than perfect timing, and enemies that seem specifically placed to annoy the player. Although I think that this artificial difficulty is exaggerated, especially in the last episodes, I see that the necessary precautions are taken for a normal player to finish. They did not neglect to say, "**You will miss some things, but you can still finish the game with a little sweat**". This can be considered a plus too.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, which has a lot of options such as dozens of character views that can be collected, side stories that can be played with different characters and have effects on the main story, side sections where you can experience the past of Crash, opportunities to play the old episodes in different ways, a game everyone should have. Players who have not played a Crash Bandicoot game before do not need to hurry. The game looks beautiful and offers a lot of content.
My Big Challenge in London - Watch Dogs Legion
**Watch Dogs** has always had a good concept. It was a really cool idea to interact with almost every technological gadget you see around you. Although the first game of the series implemented this idea nicely, the fun factor of the game was completely forgotten. We can say that the second game added more to the first game in terms of fun and variety. As we have seen from the first trailers released, we have a sequel based on the **2nd game**.
The story of the game takes place in the period of collapse of the UK economy, which is suffering from artificial intelligence in the near future. We start the story as Dalton Wolfe, a member of the hacker group DedSec. We are trying to prevent the plans of a group called "Zero Day", which is planning to demolish the Parliament Building with explosives. However, just as it will neutralize the explosives, Zero Day plunges the city into chaos by detonating additional explosives it has placed around London. Dalton, who we saw in the game for a short time, was killed before he could provide evidence that Dedsec was not even remotely involved with the bombings, and the crime is entirely on Dedsec. After this explosion, the British government makes a deal with Albion, a private company, to get London in order. Since the culprit of these explosions is also seen as DedSec, the group cannot be as active as before and is forced to retreat into its shell. As a member of the DedSec group, we recruit new members to our team in order to get rid of the slander against us and try to remove this black stain on behalf of our group.
Pros
+ Different character control
+ Controlling each NPC separately is a great innovation
+ 2. Minor improvements have been made to the game
+ Provides you plenty of variety with its talent tree
+ London looks great
Cons
- Driving and character mechanics
- Repetitive task structure based on the same foundation
Environment and Character
After the introduction of the game is over, a screen appears for us to choose our character. Each character has a different special ability. For example; When a character is called, there is an engine that appears right next to us, while in another, hacking times are reduced. This provides you a great deal of convenience in your tasks. I personally chose a character with a motor to experience vehicle driving mechanics. After completing your choices, you start touring the beautiful streets of London. When we look at the city in terms of detail, it is very nice and satisfying. It makes you feel as if you are really in London as you step through the streets of the game. The map is quite large and there are plenty of places to go. Since there are plenty of side missions in the game, you can find tons of things to spend time and deal with. Speaking of the city, I also want to touch on driving dynamics. Frankly, the game disappointed me a bit when it comes to driving dynamics. If you ask why, almost nothing has contributed to Watch Dogs 2's driving dynamics. 2. The clumsiness of the game continues in this game, unfortunately. While using any vehicle, it seems that the weight of that vehicle has not been reflected in the game.
Optimization and graphics
I think we came to the event that bothers me the most in the game. Optimization. I don't know if this problem is only related to me, but I had to experience Watch Dogs Legion with an average of 45 FPS. Not to mention the loading times of the game and in-game hang-ups. I can say that this incident severely undermined my gaming experience. As I said, this may be a situation solely due to me. However, this does not change the fact that the graphics of the game are nice and the color palette is used. However, I think that this problem can be overcome with future updates by Ubisoft, and more importantly, it should come.
Recruitment system and characters
Let's come to the most striking point of Watch Dogs Legion. Every NPC you see in the game is in position of a playable character. So let's say you are bored and want to change characters, you can play a grandmother who goes and waits for a bus. However, they said that every good thing has a price. We can see how true this statement is in Watch Dogs: Legion. Because in order to add the character that we have envisioned to our team, you have to fulfill what that character asks from you. I have to say that I am satisfied with this subject. I've added more than 10 characters to my team and I haven't encountered a repetitive task in any of them. These missions are likely to repeat as the game progresses, but I can say that they keep the task pool at a sufficient level. Does this mean that we will take part every time we add new members to the team? Fortunately not. Because the NPCs you help in random incidents on the streets of London agree to join your team directly. This prevented the repetition of the character task and ensured that the range of different characters was kept widely. Let's not go without specifying this
As I mentioned at the beginning, the characters we manage have some features that make them stand out. For example, when you choose an assassin, you start swinging flying kicks in close combat. But this hits a downside to your hacking abilities. The same is true for NPCs with high hacking abilities. But since there are too many characters in the game that you do not want, it is necessary not to get caught up in such small details. At the same time, I would like to point out that when you develop a skill in the skill tree, these improvements affect all characters. In a way, this prevents you from dealing with each character separately. In other words, we can say that you are actually increasing the abilities of the DeadSec group, not the character.
However, this does not mean that there are no shortcomings in the characters. For example, there are so many characters that you can play in the game that, after a while, more than one character is voiced by the same people, and it leaves a feeling that you are playing the same character. Moreover, there seems to be a voiceover problem in both some characters and the game in general. Dialogues and portraits are far from natural and artificial. For example, the first character I chose when starting the game had almost no English accent. He was trying to try, but I can't say he was very successful. I can say that this recruitment system also prevents sticking to a single character in games like me. So when there are so many characters, you cannot empathize with the person you direct. There is also character customization in the game, but there are so many characters in the game that you don't even need to customize the characters you play.
Equipment
There are equipment that appeals to everyone in the game. From electronic brass knuckles to invisibility cloak. I can say that this adds to the style of gameplay. You can improve the equipment with the money you earn from the in-game missions and the open world. This means you have to update each equipment separately. In short, I can say that the equipment offered in the game was quite sufficient.
Task diversity
Yes, let's come to the game's missions and task variety part. Although the story of the game tries to tell something in an entertaining language, these narratives are greatly overshadowed by the repetitive tasks. For example, we go to take charge, we start with fun, humorous dialogues. Later, the tasks you need to do are restricted so much that almost every task begins to look alike. To give an example; You are taking on a story-oriented assignment, you are asked to hack the assigned location and propagate DedSec. Although these may sound fun at first, they are repeated later. Although the tasks on paper are different, they basically remain the same. So, in my opinion, a task should not just be hacking a door with your phone and trying to kill an enemy secretly and complete the mission. We can also use spiders and drones as equipment in the game, but basically everything we do is the same. The only difference is that we do these jobs sometimes in different equipment and locations. Unfortunately, I cannot say that they did a very catchy job on Watch Dogs 2 in terms of story. However, there is a situation that the game's Multiplayer mode was not available at the time of writing this review. Missions would be more fun in the multiplayer mode, maybe who knows?
Result
I commented on Watch Dogs 2, the game that Ubisoft has recently made a name for, with my own observations. As I mentioned above, if a little more attention was paid to the missions, character and vehicle handling mechanics, I guess it would be one of the most sound games of this year. However, I think those who love Watch Dogs 2 will love this game, as it contains mechanics from the previous game of the series. Nevertheless, Watch Dogs: Legion is not a game that I can readily recommend for players looking for story-based variety. I think the game is a very innovative and potential game. However, since this is not fully integrated into the game, it offers a bit of uninspired gameplay elements and a repetitive structure. Still, Ubisoft's innovative feature that we can control every NPC can be a milestone in the gaming world. Maybe in the future, we will see more games that we control a lot of NPCs, thanks to Ubisoft's brave breakthrough. In this article, I commented on Watch Dogs: Legion for you. I hope I could give you enough information with my review. See you at our next review. Stay well!
My review of Nioh 2: Darkness in the Capital
It was introduced to players who wanted more content for one of the most beautiful action games. Let's see together whether it can please players who want more enemies, new challenges, and stories.
When the story of Nioh 2 ended, our main character took two guardian spirits with him and set out on a journey to discover the history of the sword he had. As with the first add-on pack Tengu's Disciple, we're following a new tip in Darkness in the Capital. This time, the object we find sends us back to the year 976. During the Heian period, we encounter Minamoto no Yorimitsu and Abe no Seimei, one of the legendary names of the time.
Sohayamaru, which is now in our hands, is always seen in the hands of important fighters in history. Its bearer is Minamoto no Yorimitsu, one of Japan's important historical figures. Although our first meeting with him started with a little fight, with the effect of having the yokai blood, we start working together in the later stages of the story.
Darkness in the Capital presents us the second part of the story that we can call the "Sohayamaru Trilogy". Together with important figures in history, we fight against a power called Ashiya Doman, who is working to take over the capital. In the first Nioh game, we also get the chance to meet Sakata Kintoki, who appears only as a wandering spirit.
In fact, the game, which has an interesting story, has the trouble of completing the main story in three parts. You cannot get to know the characters enough, you cannot focus on the story as much as you want. Both Tengu's Disciple and Darkness in the Capital seem like episodes for setting up the story. Short stories that leave a lot of question marks for the story that will end with the third add-on pack. I have to say that it still has a better expression than the first Nioh.
We Knock Over Many Yokai in One Fist
Let's move on to the gameplay, which is the part we are curious about by saying that the story part is enough. First, I start with the new weapon that I am eagerly awaiting, punches! One of my favorite things about the Nioh series was that it allowed you to finish the game without a gun. You could steal the enemies' weapons and use them against them and finish the job with your fists. It was a method that I did not prefer much because of the variety of weapons in the game, but things are changing with our new weapons.
With our armor-covered or clawed gloves, we become a true master of combat against enemies. The best thing about fist guns is that they feel completely different from other guns. We can stop the attacks suddenly and start kicking, throw ourselves to the ground in the middle of the fight and jump into the air as the enemy approaches, and we can “punish” the enemy by blocking the incoming attack. These weapons make the game a complete fighting game. Each stance uses a different fighting style, and I liked the "Drunken Fist" style that I love so much in the down stance mode.
It's not enough to try our fists with old enemies, we need more opponents. Team Ninja did not leave this request unanswered, adding new enemies, which are also evil spirits found in Japanese folklore. The most common enemies we will encounter will be Oboroguruma and Yasha, representing the distorted souls of the Heian-era nobility. Both are enemies that should not be taken lightly.
Hiding in a towing car and making surprise attacks, Oboroguruma can knock our character down in one hit with the kick he takes out of the car. Yasha, who chooses to be yokai out of hatred for his enemies, is both powerful and capable of cursing. If you get caught in his curse during the fight, any stake that gets into the head of the doll he is holding can get stuck in you. There are other newly added enemies, but these two were the ones that caught my attention the most. It was nice that they stopped presenting old enemies again like the previous package.
Pros
*+ Fist weapons add a different feel to the game*
*+ New boss fights are impressive*
*+ There is an increase in the number of new enemies*
*+ Dream of the Wise mode (NG +++) that extends the game time*
*+ Ren Hayabusa*
Cons
*- Brings back old boss fights*
*-Storytelling is too rushed*
When we talk about enemies in Nioh 2, we cannot skip the boss fights, one of the best parts of the game. Darkness in the Capital's boss fights are just as we expected, they are awesome! Each of the new boss fights gives a unique and different excitement. I must say that I found the excitement I had in the last fight of Tengu's Disciple in several different fights in this package. There are also several boss fights that are not newly added. While it might feel strange to see the characters we beat in the first Nioh reappear, the new boss fights make up for this.
Ninja Gaiden fans are also waiting for a small surprise in the add-on package. It's not Jin, the main character of the series, but we get the opportunity to fight one of his ancestors, Ren Hayabusa. When you win the fight, we also get the opportunity to make and wear the Hayabusa set. Finally, I think if a third Nioh is made, they should stop Nekomata to jump in front of the enemy. He's doing a job rather than helping!
More Nioh 2
With Nioh 2: Darkness in the Capital, the Dream of the Wise (New Game +++) mode adds ten new missions, including the Stone of Penance system, where you can make the game more difficult, and three main missions. The add-on package, which increases the playing time of the game, clearly adds my favorite weapon to the game. Considering the contributions of Nioh 2, it would be acceptable to have troublesome storytelling. Darkness in the Capital is an add-on pack for one of the best action RPG games of the year, you shouldn't miss out on.
Played a Game with the Taste of a Movie - Partisans 1941 Review
The Wehrmacht started an unexpected war against the Soviets in 1941 with Operation Barbarossa. In the first weeks of the war, it made such rapid progress that some German generals made unfortunate statements that the war had already been won. If we count the things they do not count, everyone will think of the Russian winter. There are also the partisans who have made this winter more unbearable, causing constant problems in the supply lines of the German armies and constantly threatening German internal security.
In this story, you leave your homes that have joined the enemy's lands and act to contribute to this great war rather than at the mercy of the enemy. You will try to survive, find other partisans and move together.
**Multiple Character Management**
Partisans 1941 is a high-camera-eye tactical game that lets you steer a group of partisans. Commander Zorin teaches you the game in the first part. After doing a few things with Zorin, you reach the main road and meet a few more partisan friends. After the conversation between you, you act as 3 people for another task.
The game may get a little more complicated at this point, but calmly and patiently divide your inventory with other partisans as needed. The reason for this is obvious, the other two people are also acting under your direction. You can decide what to move more than one person by looking at the tactical map.
**Watch Out for Sound Waves!**
In Partisans 1941, there is a surplus that I really like compared to many other games, sensitivity to sound! When we examine similar games, you can even throw a party if you are not in sight of the enemy soldier, but in Partisans, the sensitivity of the enemy soldiers to sound is also in question. You can use a bush to hide in the game, you can move in the bush, but if you have an enemy soldier right next to you, you have to do this very slowly because the enemy detects the sound coming from the bush. You understand this by a yellow exclamation mark above the enemy's head.
Another noticeable feature is the ability to distract the enemy. You can do this with a stone or with a bottle of water. A group of enemy soldiers are on guard at the point you pass and they do not allow you to pass. Throw a stone in the direction you want them to look at and go to the point you want to go from behind while the enemy soldiers look at that point. Or put a water bottle in a spot where enemy soldiers can see it, and make your move again when the thirsty soldiers move to get that water. The distraction with the water bottle is unreal in my opinion. Therefore, I liked the use of stones more.
**Prepare for Hot Shoot**
Of course, you cannot escape from the enemy soldiers in every operation. Sometimes you have to kill them. For this, hot conflict may be required. Here, a machine gun, a gun or a knife will do the trick. I liked using knives more because it does not emit a sound wave and other enemy soldiers continue their routine while you take care of you. The use of firearms poses the risk of multiple hot confrontations, and I recommend that you do not use it except when it is most necessary. Besides, you should not just leave the enemy soldiers you killed in the middle because you can be seen by any sentry and you can hear the alarm sounds. To prevent this, load the bodies and hide them in a bush.
In Patisans 1941, your inventory starts almost empty. As you progress in the missions, you will find very necessary but very limited materials such as bread, water, first aid materials, guns, bullets that you can add to your inventory from inside houses, chests, and secret compartments, depending on your location. When you spend, you should be very cautious and needy.
**Build Your Talent Tree**
Of course, Commander Zorin and his friends do not act with the intuition that came down from the sky. Partisans 1941 has a talent tree for the characters. You can use the skill points you earn as you succeed in the operation to improve your characters' abilities. In my own game, I gave our main character Zorin melee skills because I like using knives.
I added using machine guns for Comrade Fetisov, and for Sanek, disguise and silent movement, abilities that we can infiltrate more into the enemy. The purpose of this is to ensure that all the characters we manage have a different feature and that any character can adapt to the conditions of the moment according to the conditions of the moment. Of course, you can turn to different abilities according to your own game understanding.
"Partisans 1941 is a game like a movie"
Partisans 1941, which you can buy on Steam. The game has an English voiceover, but I played with a Russian voiceover for realism. In the system requirements, 8 GB of RAM is shown as a minimum. This can tire your system. If possible, play the game with 16GB of RAM. Although I do not look positively at the games from above, Partisans 1941 managed to be a game that attracted me with its story content. It is a game that I can recommend to anyone who is interested in the history of the Second World War, knows the Tiger 131, or is interested in armored vehicle museums. As it is a story-based single player game, it is a movie-like experience that will not distract you from your work.
I Love Horror Games - The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope
*If you love horror games, you don't want to miss The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope hint.*
At the very beginning of the game we play a small practice part where we see the tragic story of a family. Then we start the real story in a school bus. The bus, which had to leave the main road due to an accident and pass through the town called Little Hope, is off the road because of a little girl jumping on the road and we meet our heroes.
**Watch Out for Little Kids Jumping on the Road**
Four college students and their teachers who took them on tour survived the accident unscathed. Shaken, but in good shape, the group decides to go to the nearby town of Little Hope and seek help, as the bus driver is missing and their phones are not working. After a while, realizing that the strange fog around them directs them to a certain point, the group begins to learn about the mysterious past of Little Hope town and its impact on them. Meanwhile, they try to escape from the town by getting rid of the strange creatures they encountered and finding the missing bus driver.
I would like to give more information about the story but there is not much that can be told without spoilers. I found the similarities between the victims of the witch hunt that took place in the town's past and our main characters and the story of the constantly emerging little girl intriguing. A slightly better job has been done, according to the story of Man of Medan. In addition, the problem that we had in the first game, when a wrong character died, the story becomes unintelligible is not in this game. You have to do the right things to unravel some of the events, but no matter what happens, the end of the game connects.
Each of the characters has a different personality and they develop with the effect of the decisions you make throughout the game, or they turn out to be a complete mess. The features that are unlocked as a result of their relationships with each other and the choices you will make affect the decisions they will make at key points of the game. They did a good job, but don't expect in-depth characters. Especially in the beginning, there are strange scenes such as some characters throwing themselves into the pit with the slightest rattle, seeing a cat and running to death, which does not fit the character that the same character displayed two minutes ago.
I briefly touched on the story, let's see what innovations Supermassive Games has made in gameplay. If you have played **Until Dawn** and **Man of Medan** before, I have to state that you will not have any problems with the gameplay. This is not a good thing at all. There is no major innovation over the previous games. You travel around in free roaming mode, and you proceed by collecting hidden clues. You make decisions on behalf of your character in various dialogues and enter Quick Time Event events in action scenes. There is also an activity where you have to press the key at the right part when you need to be silent, and I could not complete it successfully.
Many of the key events found in the game are determined by how well you succeed in QTE events. The producers, along with Little Hope, made a small but useful change to the QTE system. Now you can see what the action you will take a few seconds ago and prepare yourself accordingly. The icon, which appears close to where the key you need to press shortly before you press the key, shows what the next move will be, such as jumping, dodging or attacking. For example, the jump icon I see in the left corner while playing with the Xbox controller tells me that the character will jump a little later and that the key to press is "**X**". It is nice that a system such as QTE, which is important in terms of story and widely used, has developed this kind of development for players who have problems.
We move from a ship with narrow corridors to a town with open spaces, and the camera angles are also affected by this change. The actor is allowed to have some say in camera control, although it still uses a more cinematic camera angle. In this way, we can examine the surroundings and characters more easily in open areas. Fixed camera angles continue in closed areas and at some points. From time to time, there are spots that make it feel like we are seeing our characters through the eyes of someone watching us through the bushes.
We can play the game alone or with our friends. The single player story shows almost all the important parts of the game. According to the episode we play, we take control of a character and try to solve mysteries to get out of the town. However, to see the whole game, you have to try the multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode, in which all five characters can be controlled by a separate friend, allows you to witness the small details of the story. Its main fun is to gather and play in the same house with friends, but I could not try it because of the period we are in. We had a lot of fun playing Man of Medan like this, but in Little Hope I could only try it online and I can say it wasn't bad.
Finally, the episodes where we wandered outside in fog reminded me of the times I played Silent Hill 2. Of course, we do not have the same experience, but when looking for hidden objects, "I wonder if something skips from here?" Strolling around the ruined town amidst the constantly surrounding fog and the points that I was nervous about, revived my beautiful memories.
**We Go on a Witch Hunt**
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, which I played on PC, is much better optimized than Man of Medan. Load times are short enough, the graphics look good and the performance is smooth. I usually played with a gamepad, but it seems comfortable to control it with a keyboard-mouse. My biggest complaint with the PC version was that the mouse pointer constantly pops up in the upper left corner. Although I play the game with a gamepad, the mouse pointer that appears with the slightest movement does not disappear unless you take a hand. If you are stuck in even the smallest point on the screen like me, you have to get up from where you sit and straighten it every time.
Although there are some uncomfortable points about the ending of the story, I will close it by saying "**not bad**" because it is interesting and engaging. I liked the conclusion that Man of Medan tied things up more, but there is nothing to do. In order not to give spoilers, I cannot focus too much on it. There is also a lot of jumpscare in the game. Even the cat in your home becomes an element of tension when exposed to so many similar jumpscare moments in a day. I even started to react to the animal that jumped in my lap at night. The bad side was that the jumpscars in the game lost their influence after a while and became so ordinary that they were greeted with "Oh, someone shouted again" reactions.
It is a pity that the game deprives me of some small details just because I am playing it alone, and does not show some small details that give an idea about the characters' personalities. You don't have a huge loss, you don't miss things that deeply affect the main story, but it's not nice to be hit in your face when you're playing alone.
Result
***The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope***, which is about the strange events that happened to five characters seeking help, was a good game in general. You feel like you're playing one of the popular horror thrillers. The Curator character, who emerged after critical decisions and made comments about what I did, adds a pleasant atmosphere to the game.
I Was Little Viking - Assassin's Creed: Valhalla
We enter the game by choosing our difficulty level. There are two different difficulty parts, one is Exploration Difficulty, that is, the difficulty of not finding the surrounding items, the important areas on the maps, and the other is the general difficulty level in the game. After choosing these, we start the game as the little **Eivor**.
**Introduction and Story**
We are taking control of the Eivor in the middle of a small festivity. In the game, Varin, our father, asks us if we have bought the ring. We say okay and go to the person we need to give the ring, little by little. But as usual, things do not go as desired. We are harassed by Kjotve's clan. Of course, nobody's hand collects pears. Armed with his sword, he goes out to fight. We follow them with our child mind. The scenery we see outside is not a good omen. Our father will understand that things will get messy, and he is willing to hand over his head to Kjotve on the condition that he does not kill his men. But after our father surrenders his head, contrary to what was expected, Kjotve does not keep his promise and orders his soldiers "***who is there, who is not, kill all of them***".
While we are about to boil in, Sigurd pulls us in at the last moment and we try to escape with the horse. I say we are working because we are falling off a cliff onto an ice floe because of an ax hitting the horse. While we are surrounded by wolves and they will take a bite from us, the crows with a scream we shout and thus we finish the entrance part. After dodging the entrance, we wake up in a boat captive. Here Ubisoft shows us the basic fighting and archery mechanics, little by little. While trying to escape from the boat, we are also struggling with more than one enemy. After traveling like this for a while, we finally arrive in our village. The people in our village are very happy to see us. The blood greed of the people in the village will have grown so that we are going to Raid directly within a few missions.
Speaking of Raid, let's talk briefly for those who do not know. In short, we can call it a siege mechanic to capture enemy areas. With a shipload of men, we can capture lands dominated by enemies and open fast travel points, as well as collect loot. But in the case of Raid, there is no such thing as I will immediately enter and kill all enemies. You can only capture enemy territory after completing certain tasks such as burning the enemies' supplies. Frankly, I must say that the most helpful event in the Raid part is the Raven mechanic that we control our crow. Because there were times when I had trouble finding the locations of the supplies. Thanks, Synin (Raven) came to my rescue immediately. One more thing caught my eye while using this mechanic; it is also environmental design and graphics. I can definitely say that the environmental design and graphics of the game are really excellent.
Frankly, I did not think my computer would uninstall such a nice looking game at first, but Ubisoft managed to mislead me in this regard. I had a very smooth gaming experience at medium-high settings without any problem. The producers have left us with a beautiful open world that absolutely cheers your eyes on. They deserve an extra congratulation on this subject. Well, if you say that these graphics do not have any disadvantages, my answer to you will unfortunately exist. Because the animations in the game are locked to 30FPS. So even if you play the game at 60 FPS, the waving of the flags is locked to the 30 frame rate. This inevitably bothers you in some way. Likewise, it is possible to see the same problem with the eagles on the top of the mountain you climb to synchronize and learn the map. But since these are minor inconspicuous inconveniences and can be fixed with future updates, I do not think it is a very confusing situation. I would like to share with you the screenshot I have taken for you to see the beautiful landscapes I mentioned, and without further ado, I move on to the side missions and activities to do.
**Side missions and activities**
Although I say that the side missions are repetitive, this is not the case for every mission, fortunately. There are plenty of unique and fun side quests as well as repetitive side quests. At the same time, let me inform you that I encountered dialogue and some activities during my time in the game. For example, I saw a soldier sleepwalking while I was searching around. I went to him and started to talk, although we only meet him through dialogue, I think it is definitely better than the empty world of this kind of small encounters. I have to say the same about the small mini games we do in-game. I think it is better than nothing, although not much. The dialogues we enter with the supporting characters are also at a very satisfactory level.
The same things apply to the dialogues in the main story, in my eyes, there has not been a production that will be very upsetting.
**Talent Tree**
Yes, let's get to the game's talent tree. Basically, we can improve our skills in three different ways. These are based on assassination, attachment combat, and ranged combat. Each road promises you different improvements. For example, if you want to advance through melee, it provides you with abilities that allow you to use extra features as well as small improvements in attack power, health, stamina. The same goes for the assassination and ranged parts. I have to say that the talent tree is quite large. The improvements you get are also clearly noticeable in the game. In this respect, Ubisoft has done a very successful job.
Although I have played the game a lot, I have been able to develop only a small part of it yet. This means that there are dozens of talents waiting to be unlocked for Eivor. Opening talents does not make you bother for dozens of times. So, I was rewarded with two skill points per mission. I didn't have to make any extra effort to achieve the skills I wanted. In this respect, it is a very nice thing that he does not bore the players. Since we also mentioned the talent tree, let's take a look at the character design and equipment if you wish.
**Character customization and equipment**
The part of the game that was a little dull for me was definitely the personalization of Eivor. Unfortunately, we haven't offered much customization possibilities for our character. The simplest; There are 4-5 hair styles in total that we can apply to our character. The rest is just about changing colors. The same goes for our beards. However, there is a great variety of tattoos. It is quite possible to find tattoos to apply to your character while exploring even when you are out in the open world. I wish the importance given to tattoos were also given to hair and beard, I say to myself. I would like to tell you that our character also resembles Joseph Seed, our minor enemy in **Far Cry 5**.
In the equipment section, plenty of options await us, as are the other two games in the series, Odyssey and Origins. Envai types of armor, helmets and weapons are available in the game. It is possible to find them on the map of the game. Although axes come to mind when we talk about Vikings, fortunately Valhalla did not force us to play only with axes. You have the opportunity to use a wider variety of weapons other than axes. If you wish, you can strengthen them in exchange for the gold bars you find in the open world of the game in the blacksmith, and add extra features with runes. Another feature I liked was the ability to use two different weapons at the same time. If you wish, you can take an ax in both hands and enter into enemies with whatever Allah has given, or you can take a shield in one hand and approach the enemies with a little more cautious steps.
Ha, none of this suits me, even if you say I like to go quiet, you can get the Hidden Blade that we missed after a little progress in the game and hunt your enemies without making a snapping. If you say that it will not happen, you can kill your enemies from a few steps away by using a bow and arrow. However, although hunting enemies with the arrow is an important factor in the game, I should not go without saying that I do not need to use it very much. Ubisoft has finally realized that Assasin's Creed is an assassin game and added Hidden Blade back to the game. This seems to make the fans of the series very happy.
**Result**
Although I thought I would be bored when I sat at Assasin's Creed Valhalla, I have to say that my thoughts backfired. Be it storytelling, graphics and environment, it manages to absorb you. Although I encounter minor bugs in the game, I must say that they are not at a level that will disturb me very much. The feeling of hitting, boss battles and the main scenes are not overlooked.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Review: The Quest That Lasts For A Generation
**With Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare**, IW Engine had reached the extreme point it could reach. The fact that the game was flawless in every aspect for that period succeeded in winning the "Game of the Year" award. During this period, games such as World at War, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops had come one after another, breaking records. At that time, although it did not receive any serious criticism in terms of the graphics engine, even if this engine was updated and renewed in every game, the real breakthrough was the "Call of Duty: MW3 and Battlefield 3" competition in 2011.
The graphics of **Battlefield 3**, presented by Electronic Arts and developed by DICE with the **FrostBite 3** graphics engine, were really revolutionary in the game world and it also created this revolution. It has appeared with graphics that have not been seen anywhere until today. Although a Call of Duty focusing on the story mode was waiting for us, it was poor in terms of graphics next to Battlefield 3. In this situation, the players were hype despite the Call of Duty series. Negative reviews also followed one after the other. Most importantly, the entire team that disintegrated as a result of the problems in Infinity Ward passed to EA, and the hatred against Activision increased in the face of this situation. However, that team had nothing to do with DICE. Over time, this crew would form Respawn Entertainment and then say hello to the players with Titanfall… And years later most of them would even leave and return to the core, Infinity Ward.
This was how the negative criticism and controversy started about the graphics engine. What about later?
The Call of Duty series created the Modern Warfare series as a trilogy and the two-game Black Ops brand. In between, World at War was now on the verge of oblivion because World War II themed productions in FPS productions brought disgusting fainting and seriously bored the players. The firm was looking for innovations in terms of themes. As it came to the present with Modern Warfare, Black Ops 2 chose the future and the futuristic era, and from time to time, by providing story flow to the 80's, he ended the originality of the Black Ops series with two games. So it seemed that the most important issues to be covered were covered.
With Call of Duty Ghosts, a new Call of Duty brand was entered with the new generation consoles of 2013, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One. He had a valid theme and progress. It was also one of the games suitable for the Call of Duty series, but could not enjoy the original Modern Warfare and Black Ops series. Then came Advanced Warfare with Sleedgehammer Games, created from former Dead Space producers. In this future production, actors such as Kevin Spacey and Troy Baker were involved. Even though Kevin Spacey was liked especially with the influence of House of Cards, he was going to the top when he was not mentioned for his harassment incidents, which did not give what was expected after a while in Advenced Warfare. It was not understood how it was, but the game, which was full of Multiplayer servers at the beginning, started slowly and lost players rapidly. The next game was Black Ops III, which was independent of the first two games, with the subject of the future, and then we even saw the space-themed Call of Duty game, which was surpassed by the wave of meme environments with the distant future-themed Infinite Warfare. Although it was successful in astronomy and a logical Call of Duty with the consultancy of the astrophysicists they added to the team from NASA, it managed to become the most unpopular Call of Duty game in history. Finally, with WW2, your essences returned. There is a Black Ops IIII without a story in between, I never go into it, but it was obviously the basis of Warzone.
In short, the Call of Duty series presented the future to us as much as the last generation was a production that was in search of a theme and did not include the second world war period with its future-themed content. In the end, after all this experience, they decided to close the gap in the Black Ops series with Cold War and came to the same universe with Modern Warfare as a reboot production.
**The Cold War Is Beginning Again!**
Let me state that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is not a reboot, unlike Modern Warfare, and is linked to the other Black Ops series and takes place in the same universe. Let me also mention that last year's Modern Warfare is also included in this universe, only a time difference. Because the original Modern Warfare was independent with the Black Ops series. In Modern Warfare, the possible war between Russia and America started in 2016, and then the Third World War broke out, but according to this timeline, the Black Ops universe was completely reversed. The characters were also irrelevant. In fact, Black Ops was in the same universe as World at War. Modern Warfare was out of all that. However, he has joined this universe in Modern Warfare, which was reboot last year. This is a really exciting situation for the next Modern Warfare and Black Ops.
Our story takes place between Black Ops 1 and 2, and features the production inspired by the true story-based regions and events. Unlike the previous game, there are no imaginary zones called Urzikstan. As in the first Black Ops game, we start in a bar here, and the 60s, 70s and 80s themed music really takes us to the starting point of American popularity and draws us into heavy nostalgia. There are some beautiful side elements in the game, which I can say would not be bad if there were pieces from Queen and Toto. In addition to the original Black Ops characters such as Frank Woods, Alex Mason and Jason Hudson, a completely new character such as Russell Adler, who has already become legendary and cult, also appears in the game. I can say that it is a type that is completely suitable for its period. Everything goes with this new character focus, and that's our key point in the game.
At the time, US President Ronald Reagan works with Adler, and we stand by Woods, Hudson, Mason and him personally, under our own name and our pseudonym Bell.
Bell so we are. Our own name. We play the first two episodes at the beginning of the game as Alex Mason, and then the character creation screen opens, we determine the institution we work with KGB, CIA or independently for CIA reports, and we create our character by adding many features such as age, name, skin color, gender to the reports. We are logging into the game with your own name, namely TAYFUN "Bell" KUMAS. We are another new character. You can look at this situation in more detail from the images below.
We also make personal dialogue decisions in the game. In other words, as in Telltale Games, we choose dialogue and determine the course and fate of the game accordingly. Accordingly, different endings and the mood of the people we face are determined. This is an innovation that has convinced me right now, as this is not something in previous Call of Duty games.
**Other Regions in Cold War!**
Trabzon is one of the most important areas of the game. Call of Duty I firmly believe that there was one day late in the game but Turkey did not even come to Trabzon may never crossed my mind. This is the part that excites most of our people. never seriously not included in the meaning of the Cold War, Turkey was about to be over uyandıc impressive and Trabzon included in this period. After the researches we conducted, we explained this incident to you as "Call of Duty's Trabzon Policy". After the people and people we caught in Trabzon, we collect the most important intelligence about Perseus, and even one of the most important events we live there, but you will almost have to finish the game to notice him. The attempts made in the KGB center after Ukraine and West Berlin have been quoted exactly. In the Trabzon section, I escaped as many missions as I could and it is great to see that even the coastal shores are modeled exactly as they are.
**The Cold Game Begins**
The melee system has been developed in the game. You do not fight fist-to-hand, but you can hold an enemy as a hostage, stab if necessary or, depending on the situation, detonate a grenade by placing it on its body. Although there are very pleasant attacks, it is generally more convenient to use an enemy's body as a human shield as soon as it is captured. There is a situation like holding some kind of armor.
Enemy interaction includes close combat as well as BOSS battles. This feature, which came with Black Ops III, made it logical to fight BOSS by firing thousands of bullets to a robot, a soldier, as it contained robotics and cybernetics elements, but it makes no sense to throw thousands of bullets to an ordinary armored Soviet soldier. Again, it might be hard to kill with the effect of armor, but it shouldn't be like shooting a roller coaster with a gun. So there was no need for such difficulties. When the armored enemy dies, we go and look at him, and we see that some of them do not even have helmets. Is it a challenge? It was the same again.
The feel of the game is really great. It can make you feel like you shot someone. This is more realistic compared to other games.
Crysis Remastered, which took its place in the market in the past months, was criticized for the absence of this incident, but the Call of Duty series seems to have successfully completed this as always. Another gameplay feature I should mention is the key breaking feature. However, you can say that, but it seems like there is a reference to the Fallout series. We will see these when the Easter Eggs are released, but the breakout event is suspended with Black Ops Cold War. However, from time to time we do what I say.
There is a puzzle option in the game, and even the systems we enter have choices that we can decide the progress of the game. For example, we have infiltrated a PC, there are options such as CIA documents, KGB documents, nuclear weapon nudes, sorry structure theme, destination. You can access one of these documents as time is limited during the mission. If we cannot learn the structure of a nuclear bomb, we cannot learn to stop it technically, and if we do not know where it will go, we cannot have information about where it will fall. Such situations also change the gameplay, the struggle and even the fate of the known. That's why you have to make a choice just like in real life.
It is impossible not to give spoilers while telling the story of the game, but you will encounter two important names in the later stages. As I said, this is due to the fact that the new Modern Warfare is now included in the Black Ops universe. And I can say this: The fact that it is a Call of Duty game based on real regions instead of an imaginary region like Urzikstan in Modern Warfare, that it informs me of an event that I did not even know as a Trabzon citizen, I learned the difference between West and East Germany in time, an important situation in terms of telling to a generation.
Actually, Call of Duty games were generally political. What about drones in Black Ops 2, drones suddenly came into our lives after 2012, and the vehicles in Advanced Warfare are now prototypes, even the most fictitious Call of Duty products are the clearest summary of this.
Due to the Corona Virus surrounding the world, the announcement of the game as April or May was delayed until August for some reason. I found this really harmful in terms of marketing. Because I think there is no need for such a thing. At the very beginning, they stated that a Call of Duty game will definitely come this year, but its announcement will be delayed. Their announcement was already just a video. The main reason is unknown, but I think this issue may hurt the sales of the game. So if it fails to beat the sales of the previous game, that might be the reason.
**Finally, the music is also great. Jack Wall has done as great a job in this regard as anybody else. In particular, I waited for minutes in the menu to listen to the Main Theme.**
Despite everything, it has become a Call of Duty game with its standard graphics and incredible experiential features. I can say that it took me away from closing the gaps between Black Ops 1 and 2 and making great stories out of there. I can give you right on the sales price leaking conditions in Turkey because it is expensive, but a possible sale, a reasonable fee if appropriate in your pocket, I do not wish you luck in this game. After all, I do not want to remove the responsibility of saying definitely buy or not because the image of Call of Duty games is obvious. That's why I add them to the list of games that should be given a chance.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe Review
Before starting the review of the game, I have to specify a point. As someone who has closely studied and purchased most game consoles that have come out so far, I have never used Nintendo's Wii U console before. Wii U, which could not achieve the success it wanted in the world, has become a very difficult console in our country. So, as someone who missed out on a lot of good games, I am happy that Nintendo brings new versions of their old games to the Switch. With the release of Pikmin 3 under the name Deluxe, almost all of the noteworthy games of Wii U have come to the Switch. We are waiting for you Fatal Frame 5 and Wind Waker HD!
**Small Pycmines in Pursuit of Fruit**
We set out with three brave research assistants from Koppai, a world where all natural resources are depleted and faced with the danger of starvation. Our goal is to find a planet with edible resources and come back with the samples we collected from here. When we arrive on a planet that looks very familiar, our ship crashes and all three researchers are hurled in different directions. After that, we need to get researchers to reach each other, find the piece that will provide the transportation, and learn more about the planet.
First of all, we meet the people of Pikmin, who gave the game its name. We will need these tiny, fragile creatures who do a lot of effective work in groups for every job we do throughout the game. Pikmin people, who have different colors and appearances, are our feet on this planet. Guided by a whistle, the people of Pikmin carry the new fruits we discover, carry materials to build bridges, dig out buried objects and deal with aggressive enemies.
Throughout the story, which is not too long (approximately 9 hours), we fulfill our mission and discover the planet PNF-404, which seriously reminds the world. We collect the planet's ancient antiquities, survive with juices, and face many different dangers in search of the missing piece of our ship.
The main story has gorgeous twists, nothing overly gripping. Trying to reach new places to go with the ancient objects, huge fruits we all know and new types of Pikmin, on the planet, which is clearly our world, makes you enjoy playing. There are also extra missions that run parallel to your main story. It hasn't done a great job in terms of story, but it manages to keep you in charge.
**Pikmin Does Not Grow In The Tree You Call**
One of the features that distinguish Nintendo games from other games is originality. Pikmin successfully fulfills the originality part in 3 Deluxe. Actually, we are playing a strategy game, but micromanagement and Metroidvania type of features are also involved.
In the beginning we only enter the game with the red Pikmin type. Rock, electricity, water and flying poke… Pikmines come into play as the story unfolds. Yes, there are different kinds of Pikmins, and each has a separate role. Reds are our standard fighters and are not affected by fire. It can break rock-type hard materials and fight without being crushed under the enemy. The yellow type is made up of lighter Pikmines that can conduct electricity, the blues can float, and the ones that fly… fly. Apart from these, there are a few different genres that are not included in the main story but can be played in other modes.
As time passes, we can take you around 100 of the Pikmines whose number of species has increased. The planning part starts here. We can give separate commands to all 3 captains, but there are 100 Pikmins in total and we need to determine which captain will travel with how many Pikmins. Although time is limited, the length of the days varies according to the difficulty level we have chosen, we have to return to our ship every night and wait until morning. We also have to satisfy our team's hunger at the end of the day, so if we're going to waste time around, we need to collect lots of fruit. Also, if we forget to recall the Pikmines doing other jobs at night, we have to watch them go down by night hunters.
Picmines don't grow on trees, but you can get more, thanks to a strange onion-shaped organism. For the necessary resources, it is possible to use the flowers around or the enemies you defeated. Whichever color Pikmin goes to collect, more Pikmin is born of that color. Of course, we need to go and collect the grown Pikmines from the ground. In addition, by drinking nectar, we can make the flowers in their heads bloom and become stronger (a kind of upgrade).
The Metroidvania part of the game appears as you get different types. Thanks to the blue Pycmines, we are able to reach a door that was in the water and could not reach (because they are drowning). In this way, we can go back to previous chapters and find fruits that we haven't discovered before.
The fighting part is interesting, like the rest of the game. Almost all Pikmin types can fight. While the reds are generally better fighters, when fighting a leggy foe, it is possible to throw yellows higher and deal faster damage, or take advantage of not crushing the rock type. In addition, the rock type is needed first to stop some armored enemies. Although it is possible to defeat enemies without any loss at normal difficulty level, we have to say goodbye to many Pikmin friends in the parts we call the boss fight. Boss fights are generally fun and there is an opportunity to play again later. In this way, you also get the chance to try it at higher difficulty levels.
**New Features to the Console**
Pikmin 3 Deluxe has preserved almost all the features of the original game released in 2013, and added a few adjustments that are considered better in the current generation. These features include a target lock system, an opportunity to play co-op previously unavailable, and all of the paid content released for the Wii U version are available in the main game.
Normally, we direct our character with the analog keys and take care of the target selection with the other analog. Pikmines jump in the direction we point and fulfill a task they can do. The newly added locking method targets the closest interactable objects and enables direct interaction if the conditions are suitable. Although it is a good development in general, it is annoying to always aim at the wrong places during the fight or to constantly press the target button until we choose what we want among the many objects on the ground. It is also possible to aim with the Swich's gyro control feature. I could not get used to it, but it is a situation that varies from user to user. I see the touch feature is available on the Wii U. It is not available on the Switch version. At least we could have this ease while playing in hand.
The Co-Op system added to the game provides the opportunity for two players to play from the same screen. We can explore the surroundings by controlling different explorers and sharing the Pikmines we have. It's a pretty good idea in theory, especially considering that there are a lot of things to do in episodes other than the main story, it's possible to have fun. The downside is that this system is not available for online use. On the internet, you can only access the ranking tables where you can upload your score. I could not play the Co-Op mode for a long time because today's conditions took my opportunity to try it with my other friends. My experiment with my little nephew ended with all the Pikmines that I had carefully collected, thrown into the water, and I returned to play on my own. There is also a game mode called Bingo Battle, where players can engage in various struggles with each other. This is one of the modes that make you think if there was an online combat option.
All DLC packages released for the Wii U version of Pikmin 3 are included in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. There are also two new episodes developed exclusively for Pikmin 3 Deluxe. These missions, which do not dramatically affect the main story, offer the opportunity to play the same episodes with a different perspective. There are also small surprises for those who have played the old games of the Pikmin series. They aren't great stories, but they're add-ons that can extend the gameplay time.
Piklopedia, which is not available from the Wii U version, and the Badge system showing in-game achievements are among the features added to the game. In addition, the difficulty options are divided into three as Normal - Hard - Ultra Spicy. Ultra Spicy is specially developed for players who really want to have a hard time. The maximum number of Pikmin is set to 60 and the fruits you collect provide less juice than normal. In a world where enemies are tougher and days end quicker, you end up with a lot of trouble to deal with.
**Result**
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a game that I would recommend for gamers who love the genre to try, with its different approach to real-time strategy games. Pikmin 3 Deluxe, which you can log in without playing previous games, offers you a brand new experience. Even if you have previously owned a Wii U and played the original Pikmin 3 game, a game where you can spend a long time at the beginning is waiting for you with the opportunity to play the game for two people, added new stories and added difficulty levels. It's not a game that everyone will love to play, but once you get caught up in the world of these little colorful creatures, it's hard to save yourself. Also, if there is a second person at home to play with, you can have a lot of fun.
We are ready for adventure with Spider-Man: Miles Morales
In the first game, we saw **Miles Morales** gain spider powers and begin training from **Peter** during side missions. **Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales** takes us about a year later, when Peter Parker and Miles Morales were slowly networking together. Accompanying the convoy that took some of the prisoners who escaped from Raft back to the prison in the previous game in New York amid New Year's decorations and snow, the duo take a quick New York tour with Rhino, who escaped due to Miles' mistake. In this episode, we learn about the controls, recall them and discover some of Miles' new powers.
After Rhino's escape and our first meeting with Roxxon Energy company, Peter Parker leaves the city for a few weeks for his photography business and the whole city is entrusted to us. In addition to the moving rush of Miles, who moved from Brooklyn to Harlem, we also see the excitement of his mother's election efforts and meeting with his old friend, whom he has not seen for a long time. The rest of the story is about how we fight Underground and its new leader, Tinkerer, who declared war on Roxxon Energy, and help the people of New York, especially Harlem. On the one hand, we help our novice hero to get through his first solo mission smoothly, on the other hand, we see his efforts to balance heroism and private life.
First of all, I have to say that the introduction is great. As someone who has watched a lot of Spider-Man on TV, it was very nice to open with an enemy I have always known like Rhino. Traveling New York on Rhino during the Christmas period is a completely different experience. I loved the moments like the joint struggle of the two Spider-Man, the conversations of Peter and Rhino, who suddenly flew past us while Miles was dealing with other prisoners. In this respect, I can say that I enjoyed the Kingpin fight more than the original game.
The rest of the story is good. We have a game one third of the length of the original game, it is possible to complete the main story within 10 hours. This has both good and bad sides. The fact that the story is short caused some events to be handled at the level of "done and done". The best part is that we almost never do unnecessary work. There are no tasks that seem to be set just to make the game longer. Even the side missions look more full. The story length was generally satisfactory. We encounter 4 bosses in the game, one of which is optional. The optional fight is very light compared to the Taskmaster in the original game. Few bosses do not suit a series that has no trouble with powerful enemies. I did not find the new version of Tinkerer, which we saw even in the movie Homecoming, not bad. I have some complaints that will be spoilers, but I pass by saying that they were able to fit this into the part of the game that is devoted to the story.
The story of the game is short, we agreed on that, now let's move on to the gameplay part. If you've played Spider-Man, which was released in 2008 before, it won't be long before you get used to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. All the features of the previous game remain here. In fact, Miles can directly use some of the abilities you need to unlock in the main game. Peter's teaching worked well. The main striking features are the special abilities Miles has.
In addition to the abilities that Peter Parker has, Miles Morales has some special powers of his own. The ability to stun and weaken enemies with bioelectric attacks called Venom, and the invisibility ability that allows Miles to survive difficult situations. Thanks to the features we acquire as the story progresses, the gameplay that starts exactly the same as Spider-Man, makes the fights become more different with the new tactics we can apply.
Venom abilities are initially used to take down defending enemies. As our character grows stronger, Venom abilities become that we can use to smash enemy shields, perform area attacks, and leap higher and forward while networking through the city. It's a nice add-on and we use it a lot in fights. The invisibility ability, on the other hand, is a skill that makes privacy parts a little easier. You can suddenly disappear during the fight, wait for the enemies to spare you, and you can easily do bonus missions. It didn't do much for me as I found the privacy parts of the game boring. But in the last episodes I used it when fleeing from crowded enemy groups. After counting Miles' new features, new things about the game come to an end. Everything I can count from now on is the same as the Spider-Man game released in 2018.
If Miles' short story is not enough (which shouldn't be), there are a lot of side quests we can do. Thanks to the application established by our friend, citizens can send a request for help and we rush to help. Side missions are pretty cool. We follow the cats, chase Howard's pigeons, try to fix the broken pier of a man who cleans the windows of the building. While these and similar tasks seem to be the most appropriate jobs for a novice superhero to do, they also feed us little by little about the reason for these events happening in the background and the bigger things going on.
In addition to side missions, there are also activities that we can complete in the city. We collect the sound samples necessary for the music that our father prepared with his brother, follow the capsules when we hide them all over the city with our best friend Phin and print the places that the Undrground gang uses as bases. The awards we earn from here can be used to unlock devices and costumes that we can use in the game.
There are 19 different costumes for Miles Morales, and you can unlock all but one costume during your first play. Each of the costumes taken from the comics and animated series comes with separate features. These features are different things like making us take less damage, collect more Venom energy, or get the Spider-Man (not Peter Parker) out of the bag to beat our enemies. I liked the way the costume in the movie Into the Spider-Verse dropped the character down to 15 fps, allowing us to move just like in the movie, and add attack effects in the movie. When you open the feature of a costume, you also have the chance to use it with different costumes.
Side missions and events have a meaning in themselves and good stories to tell. It would be sad if they left the other activities empty in a game with such a short main story. The game has done a great job with side missions. The game is very successful both visually and audibly. Released in 2018, Spider-Man was already one of the most visually successful games. Insomniac Games, together with Miles Morales, has managed to take this one step further. The attention to small details has increased, the lighting has been specially worked on and everything looks beautiful. Although most of New York City remained the same, it was snow covered due to the season. As the game focuses on the Harlem region, we see the biggest change in the streets in these areas. Street artist murals, New Year decorations, Roxxon's new buildings are the main things that attract attention.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales, working with 30 fps at dynamic resolution on Playstation 4 consoles, presented two different options as performance and cinematic on the Playstation 5 console. Playstation 5 console owners can play with 60 fps more smoothly, or experience 30 fps by turning on Ray Tracing technology, which truly handles all reflections and provides detailed light show attacks of Underground and Miles. Playstation 5 version natively supports 4K. Frankly, although I tried ray tracing and 30 FPS in the first place while playing, I preferred to play most of the game as 60 FPS. In my opinion, high FPS, ie performance modes, will constitute a more important place for games. Especially in fast games like Spider-Man or Demon's Souls, I have to mention that there are 60 more FPS events.
The loading times for the Playstation 4 version of the game are acceptable, only taking a little longer at first launch. In the Playstation 5 version, we see that the game opens very quickly with the return of SSD technology. Even when you travel quickly from one end of the map to the other, you do not encounter any loading time. Sometimes it is a bit late to load skins on the PS4 version. It was a situation that didn't get my attention until I went on a mission with Miles, who consisted of just head and shoulders. There is no such problem in the PS5 version. However, it is possible to see strange bugs and errors in both versions of the game. For example, I also saw a squirrel running through the air on a mission. But since I only saw the last one once, I can take it as a mission-specific occasion or a Squirrel Girl reference. Likewise, you may encounter errors such as Miles' netting in the streets without costume.
By the way, let's talk about haptic feedback and adaptive trigger features. Thanks to Dualsense in the PS5 version, these two technologies are used at certain points of the game. First of all, when you throw a net, you encounter a vibration according to the part you throw. In addition, the trigger keys become harder and react to the net throwing incident. Even when you climb on the subway in the vibration section, you can clearly feel its movement on the rails. With such small nuances, Dualsense features are also used.
The music of the game was made by John Paesano, who also made the music of Spider-Man. The soundtracks, which have similar timbre with the main game, have become more suitable for Miles Morales' style. The music that started when we took a stroll in the city with Miles, who is also a music player, combines the orchestral music of the first play with its unique hip-hop beats. Jaden Smith, who previously prepared a song for the movie Into The Spider-Verse, also took part in the soundtrack of this game. On My Own and I’m Ready, which we have seen in the trailer before, and I’m Ready prepared for this game fit the game very well. As someone who is not a big fan of the genre of music, I loved all the soundtracks of the game.
**Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, who successfully makes us feel that we are playing a completely different character and shows how different the same city can look from the eyes of two people, can leave players in a dilemma with the short game time and the few innovations it brings. As it stands, it could get much better comments if it was announced as an additional package and priced accordingly, rather than a stand-alone game. If you liked the first Spider-Man game, I think you will love this game too.**
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Review
NetherRealm Studios, which delighted players with Mortal Kombat 11 and its subsequent expansion pack, Aftermath, does not pass the new generation. Let's take a look at Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, which collects all the old content as well as the new generation update and a lot of new features.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate does not add any new content as a story. In the main game of Mortal Kombat 11, we can experience Kronika's efforts to reset the time by eliminating Raiden and the struggle of characters from two different times against both themselves and their enemies. Aftermath, on the other hand, allows us to experience the struggle of the watchman of time to protect the future, in the continuation of the original script.
Mortal Kombat 11 is the longest game in the series with about 8 hours of story mode. Considering that an average of 6 - 7 hours of story is added with Aftermath, you can spend over 15 hours even in story mode alone. It is a mode that you can play / watch with great pleasure, like an action movie where you can intervene in the fight scenes. I recommend it to all players who have missed the story or bought the game for the first time.
**First Blood Comes From Rambo**
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate makes available to us all the characters previously added to the game. 34 fighters, including characters from the world of Mortal Kombat, as well as guest characters such as Spawn, Robocop, Joker and Terminator, are ready to beat the opponents. But so many characters are not enough, with the new package, 3 new fighters are entering the arena. Alongside the ex-fighters of the series, Mileena and Rain, the third name is Rambo, who is familiar to almost everyone!
Created through Shang Tsung’s experiments and one of Shao Kahn’s daughters, Mileena was a character that fans of the series have long been wishing to come by. The demigod Rain, on the other hand, was a character that we had seen and expected to come, using the techniques of Shang Tsung and strolling through the Krypt. I didn't play for a long time because I didn't like either character very much, but I can't pass without praising Rain's Queen-themed Fatality.
The character I was most interested in in the pack was Rambo, voiced by Sylvester Stallone himself. I really enjoyed using our new character who was included in Mortal Kombat from the 80s movies with his guns, traps and arrows. I am not very effective in online arenas since I haven't played for a long time, so I couldn't test how well it was against other characters. After all, it is a very fun experience to grapple with the legends of my childhood such as Rambo, Terminator and Robocop. Details such as the dialogues when he meets Robocop and the returning home from the portal that opens when Brütality is done are very nice.
There is no new game mode added to the game with Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. You can linger on your own for a long time in game modes such as Tower of Time, Klassic Towers, and Krypt that the game has, and you can customize your character according to yourself with the things you collect from here. In addition to the visual customization of the characters, you also have the opportunity to customize attacks and special moves to your liking. You can stay at the beginning of the game for a long time, even just by chasing cosmetics.
**New Generation Improvements**
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is not just a combination of 3 new characters and old packs. There are innovations that affect both the new generation consoles and the previous generation. Let's talk about them in order.
If you are using one of the Playstation 4 or Xbox One consoles, you get cross-play support as well as new characters. Thanks to the cross-play you can open from the options, you have the opportunity to play mutually with players who play on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. Pc and Nintendo versions are not included in this support. I did not have any connection problems in the cross-platform matches I played. I think the biggest problem with the new generation consoles may be the old generation players waiting on the loading screen.
Speaking of loading screens, let's start with the first advantage of the new generation. When you play with the Playstation 5 or Series X / Series S you almost don't even see the loading screen. The fights, which are loaded in about 10 seconds with the Playstation 4, are loaded until you close and open your eyes on the new generation consoles. An advantage that will keep your hand from getting cold.
Visually, there is no improvement on older generation consoles. Playstation 4 Pro or Xbox One X users could already play at a quality close to 4K. With the dynamic 4K resolution coming to the new generation consoles, you can watch the cut scenes in the story mode in 4K and see the details in the game in more detail. Since each frame is important in fighting games, it is also very important that graphics enhancements do not affect the frame-rate. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate manages to offer improved visuals without causing any trouble in this regard. While there is not much visual improvement when you go through the PS4 Pro or Xbox One X versions, those who switch from normal consoles can see the difference.
The last feature that came with the Playstation 5 version is the use of DualSense's haptic feedback feature. When the opponent hits you, vibration comes from the direction you took the damage. It is discussed how necessary for the fighting game, how important the second movements are important in the competitive arena. A good thought though, can be a different experience, especially in the story mode.
Result
Before we finish, let's agree on a matter. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is not a new game, but a combined version of the main game and add-on packs previously released. It is possible to purchase all the contents of it separately. This pack is mostly designed with new entrants in mind and includes Kombat Pack 2 with new characters.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, which significantly reduces loading times on new generation consoles, brings cross-play support and offers all previously released packages together, is a great package for players who will enter the series.
Reviewing the Twin Mirror Story and Structure
**What would you do if somebody told you that one day you would fight with you and it would be up to you to decide whether to lose yourself or not?** Confused, aren't they? This is exactly what the game wants. Welcome to our review of Twin Mirror, the story-driven exploration game developed by Dontnod Entertainment, developer of Life is Strange!
With its Twin Mirror story and structure, it is both original and carries the effects of many traces we have played so far. Developed using Unreal Engine 4 game engine technology. I have reviewed the PlayStation 4 version of the game for you and I will convey my views about the game as much as I can.
I will enter the story from the end, without spoilers. Our character, Sam Higgs, is a reporter and journalist born and raised in the town of Basswood. Someone who wrote and drew in the Basswood Jungle, who spent his life in the small mining town. She leads a calm and peaceful life with her lover named Anna. With an article he published, the mine in the town goes into the investigation process and unfortunately it closes. When the mine closes, he becomes the hated person in the town. Meanwhile, when our character, who proposes to her beloved Anna, is rejected, all mishaps overlap. Sam decides to leave the city, leaving behind his best friend Nick and his little daughter, who considers himself an idol, and Sam disappears for two years. These take place before the part in which we are included in the game. Dontnod, which we know to be powerful with storytelling, strengthens the input in this way, allowing us to have an idea about Basswood. In addition, our main character, Sam Higgs, is a double person and an outcast individual. This is what makes the game branch and snag.
I think that the rest of the story should only be experienced by playing, and that every word I write will harm your gaming taste, and I dedicate the rest of the story to criticism. I need to state that; definitely the story is flowing. This story, which is built on the floor of the whole structure of the game, branches out from place to place and is shaped by your decisions. I must say that you can enjoy games like Alan Wake, Detroit: Become Human at every step while playing Twin Mirror. It never bores or overwhelms you and does not contain an episode where you get in the "Let me finish here and get rid of it now" mood.
**Small town big problem**
The narrative of this exquisite story is adorned with beautiful cinematics. The gestures and words of the characters are well written and drawn. Putting yourself in the shoes of Sam Higgs does not give you any extra difficulties to make your thoughts and decisions in this direction. In addition, the landscapes and music we see in the cinematic parts support these parts so that you can have an interactive movie experience. You solve various mysteries and puzzles by evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of having a double personality. When you collect enough clues in some sections, you go to a different section called "Mind Palace", go inside your head and combine the pieces.
In Mind Palace episodes, Twin Mirror becomes a completely different game. You can suddenly find yourself among the emotions you experience while playing any Sherlock Holmes game or watching a movie. In addition, your second personality, the second person, talks to you and helps you. Of course, you realize that they are causing you difficulties and trying to guide your decisions according to their own wishes. Here it all depends on your subjective opinion and the experience you have while coming to that part of the game. Twin Mirror, which makes you make difficult choices in some episodes and asks questions that make you think "Who you are" rather than the flow of the story, is really successful in this sense.
Graphics and section design have been very successful
The landscapes, visual design, and artistic side of the game are also pretty nice. I must say that I find the color palette of the game a bit pastel. It would not be a wrong interpretation if I say that he carries harmonious colors, far from very vivid colors and color contrasts, and that he kneads visuality with his philosophy. The landscapes he leaves you in in the cinematic parts and other episodes are just fine. It nurtures your art taste and imagination. Although it is really difficult to break away from the story, sometimes you want to stop and enjoy the beauty. It has 16 different scenes where you are dragged from one to the other. What you can see in a town shows you all of them in these 16 different episodes where the story takes you. The variety and number of episodes was too much to bore, too few to call.
The level designs and gameplay mechanics are also very satisfying. Each of the Mind Palace sections in Twin Mirror, where you suddenly dive into your mind, has different mechanics. Sometimes this can be an action episode where you escape from yourself and try to take control of your mind. Sometimes, there are sections of choice where you listen to what your reflections in a few mirrors tell you and continue on the path you find logical. These are the parts inside your head. There are also parts where he leaves you to different parts of the town of Basswood. Since it is a small town, there is no big map that you can visit in any part where he left you. Instead, there are carefully filled sections where you can learn something from all sides and introduce itself to you. Freedom on the map in this kind of game? Or is it that a more restricted map is quite rich? I leave the answer of your choice to you. I liked the richness of the department designs and the pleasure of learning something at every step.
*Of course, there are minor roughnesses.*
Let's talk about the loading screens, which are perhaps the only annoying point in the game. These loading screens, which I think have started to sink in our eyes with the new generation consoles, take a little long. I played the PlayStation 4 version of the game and did not use any SSD. The game, which proceeds with a completely artistic expression and design, keeps you on a black screen for about a minute and doing this often can damage your experience. I can say that I feel this easily while playing Twin Mirror. But he manages to somehow compensate for this with what he shows you in the rest. If loading screens are not an issue for you, you can skip this paragraph in your purchase preference.
In addition, there may be delays in loading tissues in places. In other words, for the objects displayed on your screen for the first time, lower quality textures are loaded first and then they are displayed in their original resolution. Meanwhile, there may be a blurring of the tissues. This is one of the problems that players may experience in many games developed with Unreal Engine 4.
I have to open a paragraph to praise the soundtrack of the game. The sound design of this game, which hosts dozens of great music that accompanies you in cinematic scenes and the rest of the game, is equally successful. Environmental sounds, intonation and emphasis in the characters' speech can affect your decisions with a small touch. I think it is very important that these are processed successfully in the game, especially for this type of games. In this sense, there is not much I can say for Twin Mirror.
**Finally**, let me also mention that the game offers you 8-10 hours of gameplay, depending on your speed of solving the puzzles. Of course, if you want to start the game again from each of the 16 episodes you played after you have finished, and if you want to see the results of different decisions and if you plan to finish the game at all ends, this period can be quite prolonged.
****Long story short;****
Twin Mirror is a game by Dontnod Entertainment, which previously told players "**I can tell the story very well**". For this reason, if you are looking for a game with a good story and a successful storytelling, I can recommend it to you.

World Of Warcraft Shadowlands - My Wide Pack Review
Henceforth, Our Name is **Maw Walker**. It begins with a reminder of the events that took place at the end of the Battle for Azeroth package, which started with the fight between **Horde and Alliance**. As the new Lich King challenged Bolvar sitting on the Frozen Throne, Sylvanas unexpectedly smashed his helmet, and as a result of this action, the connection between the world and the other world is completely shattered. While the leaderless Scourge attacks the surroundings out of control, many great leaders, including the Stormwind king Anduin and former War Chief Thrall, are abducted by winged beings. As the Champion of Azeroth, we enter the Shadowlands to rescue our abducted allies by Bolvar.
Passing through the portal opened with a very crowded Death Knight group next to us, we come to a land where no mortal should set foot, The Maw, where spirits that cannot be saved are thrown. Although most of our army is quickly stopped, we find Jaina and Thrall, meet Jailer, the leader of The Maw, and rescue Baine and Anduin and try to find a way out. When a passage that has not been active for a long time opens by reacting to our presence, we pass through the passage and find ourselves in the city called Oribos, thanks to the sacrifice of the heroes we came to rescue.
Oribos is the first place the dying souls come from, and here they are sent to the land they deserve, by the being called Arbiter. Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth spend their afterlife here, paying their penance sent to one of the hereafter, depending on how he lived his life. Unable to be saved in any way, unable to atone for their actions (such as Arthas), souls are thrown into the inescapable region called The Maw.
Thanks to the souls sent to the land they deserve after being judged by Arbiter, each region has access to the source called anima. Each region maintains its continuity thanks to the anima inherent in the newly arrived souls and functions in a perfect order. The Arbiter being hit by a red light and being completely silenced breaks the whole order. All the souls who need to be sentenced and sent to the proper place find themselves sent to The Maw, and the anima source of other realms is drastically diminishing.
We are included in the story as the first being able to fall into The Maw in a long time. After the conversation with the servants of Arbiter, we move on to Bastion and enter the main story. After that, I will not share in order not to give spoilers, but while trying to reach Level 60, we visit all regions in turn and we have the chance to see and intervene in the special events within each of them. In connection with the story, we move to new regions and witness how important events begin. With the completion of the Revendreth, we have reached the final level and are ready to enter one of the Covenant we want. The Covenant we chose offers new missions that will allow us to dig deeper into the events we witnessed during the introductory missions.
Blizzard, who also has writers that I love very much, has done a great job on the story. The Maw, the introduction to the story, begins in a very gripping way. Then we witness interesting events supported by cinematics in every new region we visit. It was able to watch the tasks I experienced in Alpha and Beta processes with excitement as if it was the first time. In almost every region, we are experiencing unexpected betrayals, surprise names and events that will make us say "No, dear, you shouldn't behave like that."
Moreover, all of the events that happen to us while leveling up are an introductory task. In order to see the Revendreth story of revolt or what you will do with the spirit that came out of the seed you bonded with in Ardenwelad, you must present your loyalty to that Covenant and play the sequel stories. He somehow manages to put the idea of developing your other characters to play different stories from different sides in your mind. For this reason alone, I can give a good score to the story part.
We touched on the story part without spoilers as much as possible. Now let's talk about regions and Covenant, which includes regions. With the Covenant we chose, we get the opportunity to get special abilities, a special armor set and a special mount for that Covenant. Armor and mount are the cosmetic side of the business, but the skills are a part of the player that will seriously affect. Let's briefly talk about each Covenant and briefly explain the capabilities you will have. I will not mention the skills that Covenants give to each class, but only the Standard Signature Ability (I will refer to them as special skills hereinafter).
We are progressing step by step towards one of the game's most impressive highlights
Kyrian
Bastion is the most glorious, most divine-feeling region among the hereafter. Those who come here are made up of pure souls who have lived a good, clean and righteous life. Here, the souls who pass the necessary tests and level up become Kyrians, who act as the bridge between life and death. The Spirit Healers we see when we die in Azeroth and the Bearers who take the dead souls and carry them to the Arbiter are members of the Kyrian Covenant.
We are the first to come to Bastion in a long time. In the land we came to meet with the Kyrian leader Archon, we encounter the Kyrian group Forsworn, who did not succeed in cleansing or did not want to leave their past, and this is yet another attack that takes place while trying to realize this event.
The special talent of the Bastion region has been my favorite in some ways. Covenant's talent puts at our disposal one of the Stewards, muscular owls who do their best to serve around. Our owl comes with Phial of Serenity, which regenerates 20% health and can remove all debuff effects. In addition, our steward who traveled with us for 4 minutes offers various services. Little things like a small shop where you can shop, the opportunity to change your talents wherever you want, or the ability to play music with an instrument (zurna).
Bastion introductory missions start off very heavily and frankly didn't interest me much. In the words of a friend of mine, he is doing purification tasks like taking a bath in a land like "Techno-smurf village", "Come on mortal!" The story goes slowly and suddenly "Events are happening!" We find ourselves in the middle of the action. Just when we say “something is happening”, other things are happening and we leave the area by saying “Come on, go and research these”.
Necrolord
The Maldaraxxus region at first glance makes us think "This is the place of bad guys". The Necrolord, the warrior force of the Shadowlands, is the land of unyielding and unwavering warriors. Regardless of which tactic is used, there is a survivor rationale that is strong in a land where absolute victory matters. Here events are focused entirely on power, independent of good and evil.
In Torghast you have to choose between special abilities.
The region, where we started from the very beginning by eliminating the rivals in an arena, continues with our encounter with Drakka, the mother of Thrall, and the battle for domination between the most powerful names in the region. The Primus, the leader of the Necrolord, has disappeared, leaving only mysterious notes behind. In the absence of the leader, two of the 5 houses that had power in the region disappeared during the power struggle and the struggle between the remaining 3 houses continues. We are in the middle of this war without realizing it. Necrolord offers us a special skill called "Fleshcraft". The feature that creates a durable shield around 20% of your maximum health around the wear can become much stronger. We can also add the essence of the corpses that are near us to our shield, and we can have a shield that is as durable as 50% of our lives.
Maldaraxxus generally has a Spartan vibe. It's like a paradise for warrior orcs. We may encounter old raid bosses, names we know from stories and NPCs we know from old packs. This is a region where you create different beings by following the notes left behind by The Primus and trying to enter where we think the weapons are, while throwing slime towards the pool, where you fight to find a place for yourself in the arena. I guess I liked it more than Bastion.
Night Fae
Ardenweald, a land like the paradise of nature and everything related to it, is also the main region of Night Fae Covenant. The guardian spirits of nature come here when they die and sleep in private gardens. The Anima-fed seeds protect them until they return to rest and serve again until it's time to give birth again.
The interruption of the Anima flow has dealt a huge blow to Ardenweald. The Winter Queen, the leader of the Night Fae, has to use the remaining anima sparingly, so they have to sacrifice many souls (like Ursoc). An unknown threat emerges, transforming the face of the residents with the masks on the face, causing it to become a threat to the environment. We are trying to find the source of the threats by helping the local people while trying to meet with the Winter Queen to discuss the events. In the meantime, we can establish a special bond with a seed we encounter and, thanks to Night Fae's special ability, "Soulshape", we are able to put our soul into animal form for a short time. In animal form, our movement speed increases by 50% and we can teleport 15 yards forward. At first, we can only take the form of vulpine, but later on, we have the chance to have many different looks such as unicorn, lion, wolf. Couldn't see the squirrel, I hope they add it somewhere.
When you first enter the Ardenweald, it is possible to remember the druid-dense Val'Sharah in the Legion pack. The region looks like a version of the Emerald Dream. Green has been replaced by predominantly blue colors. While some of the missions are quite fun, there are serious parts that describe the invasion of the Drust people we met with Battle for Azeroth. Ardenweald, which is my favorite region both in terms of setting and music, is also home to an amazing mission staging Azeorth's history as a theater play.
Venthyr
Our last Covenant is Venthyr, where the vampire-looking people of the Revendreth region are located. This is the land of souls who have great flaws in their souls such as pride and greed and who come to get rid of their burdens and pay their redemption. Those who come here are one step away from The Maw, but spirits with a chance to be rescued. Spirits who have undergone serious training can continue to stay here after they atone for what they have done, or have the right to move on to another Covenant.
In the last part of the story, we meet the leader of Venthyr, Lord Denathrius, and witness the riots caused by the rebels. The flow of the story changes drastically with the events that took place after we caught one of the leaders of the rebellion by weakening his sins in his face. We get a lot of information about why so many animes are gathered, what the purpose of the rebels is, and what all these events have to do with The Jailer.
Exiled to The Maw by the leaders of other Covenants, The Jailer disrupts the Shadowlands' balance by executing a joint plan with many entities, including Sylvanas, to get rid of it.
When we choose the Venthyr Covenant, we have the ability named "Door of Shadows". This ability allows the user to teleport at a short distance. After 1.5 seconds, we can teleport up to 35 yards. It may seem more useless than others, but it is a very effective skill when used to reach some treasures or to go through traps with ease.
The Revendreth area is also the home of the Covenant I chose for my Priest character. Here, characters reminiscent of the Nosferatu type of vampires draw anima from the souls trying to pay their redemption. Here we cultivate souls with the flaws they had in their lifetime. For example, we see Houndmaster Loksey, whom we know from Scarlet Monastery, here facing the dogs with his own weapon. The area reminds me of Suramar and Silvermoon. It is an impressive city with magnificent towers and castles, and the outskirts of the city are seen in the outskirts of the city, in bad condition, broken willpower, insane people (or in this case the spirits thrown). One of the biggest reasons it reminds Suramar is that there were crowded enemy groups in the castle area that constantly dropped me from my mount and beat me.
One of the biggest drawbacks of players who developed multiple characters in old packs was replaying story missions over and over. No matter how wonderful the story is, doing the same thing 10 times is not a very pleasant job. Shadowlands has provided a solution to this problem. Once you complete the main story and choose the Covenant you want, you don't have to replay the main story with your sub-characters.
The NPC, which welcomes you in Oribos the moment you first get rid of The Maw, offers two options. If you want, you can replay the main story and continue by opening the regions gradually. While the main story is pretty good in terms of XP and items, when you don't like a region or get bored with its story, you have no chance to move on to move forward. You have to stay there until the story ends. You have to do all the tasks once, but repeating the same place with each character can turn into a pain.
With the Threads of Fate system, the new option that comes with Shadowlands is to skip the entry story directly, open all regions and select the Covenant you want instantly. In this way, you gain Covenant features instantly and you can work in the region you want. Thanks to regional missions such as World Quest, you can get xp and do side missions in the region. If you just do the tasks and try to progress, you gain slower XP and fall behind in terms of items, but on the one hand, going into dungeons and on the other hand, it is a nice option to skip the whole roleplay part and get involved in the events quickly.
We've completed the main story, reached level 60 and picked our Covenant, what do we do now? Where is the end game we live in Warlords of Dreanor? Will the situation appear in this game? Fortunately, I can say no to this with peace of mind. We will fulfill what members of the Covenant we have chosen from us, increase our reputation and fulfill special duties for Covenant. As these missions come as our reputation grows, not all of them are yet clear, but I can say that they are quite interesting up to where I came from. I'm looking forward to the next week.
With our last level character, we will again pursue the World Quest, enter the dungeons, go to The Maw and prevent the Jailer's armies from getting stronger, enter the Tower of the Damned Torghast, free the Runecarver and strive for the possession of the legendary items.
**The Maw and the Tower of the Damned Torghast**
We return to The Maw several times throughout the story and save various souls. Meanwhile, we learn more about the region and get an ally (partner?). He provides us with some helpful information within Maw and offers a safe space within Maw. When we reach the final level, we go back to the area and start causing trouble in the Jailer's area. In The Maw, we can encounter normal soldiers, elite enemies and rare monsters. In addition, we can reduce high-level equipment by completing activities that are active from time to time. Each enemy drops a certain amount of Stygia, which allows us to purchase useful upgrades and items from our partner in Maw, Ve'nari.
Every move we make in The Maw causes us to attract the attention of Jailer. Killing one of his powerful soldiers, doing daily missions that we can find around, and participating in big events results in Jailer's eyes to us. At first, only the attention of the watchers is drawn to us, but later on, we have to send assassins after us, to be kidnapped by flying creatures, and finally to be crushed under the direct gaze of the Jailer. It would be beneficial not to walk around too much after getting full attention. At this point, we cannot drop items from any event and we start to lose lives constantly. A day later, we forget about us and we can go back and mess up again.
Manrik's Wife Found After Years!
It has been a very long review and I am well aware of it. But there are a lot of things I haven't told yet. Let's take a brief look at the features we will encounter with World of Warcraft Shadowlands.
The dungeons are very enjoyable (De Other Side was my favorite in terms of the information and characters it contains) and it is a very nice feature that we have special abilities according to the Covenant we chose. Mythic + and Raids have not been unlocked yet, anyway, I might not have seen them even if they were unlocked because not everyone could reach the required equipment level.
Jailer
It is a very good feature to make it easier and more effortless to gain your alt characters and to be included in the Covenant you are curious about faster. Side missions and World Quest content are better than previous games. There were bugs like World Quest, where many players died due to suddenly missing wings while flying over the Ardenweald in the first week, but they were fixed quickly. (It was raining actors from the sky, it was a fun event to watch actually)
Although it is a 16-year-old game, let's not go without mentioning how beautiful it looks. There are times when I spend time to stop and watch around in Bastion and Ardenweald areas. After choosing a side, I was afraid that we would not be able to enter the other regions. Fortunately, there is no such situation and I can travel as I want.
It is a very nice feeling to see the old names that appear as a raid boss in the Decimator Olgra (Manrik's wife), Zul’Jin, Hogger, Manastorm couple and Burning Crusade supplement. It is both nice and risky to know that with Shadowlands, we can see many old characters as friends or foes. For example, I wonder if they will do anything with the Grom Hellscream. Alternative time content seems to have complicated this topic.
The classes seem quite balanced for now, and I was a little worried as they were trying to break all the balance in Battle for Azeroth and collect them with the items we bought. We will see the real difference when the raids are opened, but it looks good for now. For now, however, I feel like our character is getting weaker as they level up because of level scaling. I get depressed when I hit 3000 at 59 level and 2400 at 60 level. Of course, the items get better as they evolve.
It is annoying to have to choose a Covenant even though you don't like it because of the advantages of Covenant abilities. There is not only Covenant abilities, but also the Soulbind system, where you gain extra features when you connect your soul. I haven't gone into much detail as it's not all clear yet, but you have to do it right in order to deliver the best performance. It is certain that there will be serious pressure within the guild. I do not know what kind of regulation can be made for this.
**Result**
**I wrote at length, I tried to cover everything you might encounter in the first 1.5 weeks of the game, although we explained most of it very briefly, I hope I could inform you.**
As someone who has played the game since the year it was first released and bought each expansion pack the week it was released, I liked World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. It has an absolutely satisfying progression in terms of story. It is also full in terms of gameplay and content. I haven't enjoyed Warlords of Dreanor's end game content, and I have never liked Battle for Azeorth enough to join raids. Shadowlands is a package that I can continue to enjoy playing even after I got my enthusiasm for the first week.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition My Review
**Devil May Cry 5 was adding a new character named V next to the Dante and Nero characters we are familiar with from the series.** Of course, I will not give spoilers to those who have not played the game yet, but we can say that V, which has very different gameplay dynamics compared to Dante and Nero, is also an important character in terms of story. In Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, we see that the fan favorite character Vergil is included in this trio.
Vergil has been reworked for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition and includes features that may be your favorite among these four. Capcom, who has entered into a new work including hit animations and movements to transfer the character to the game, has been very successful in this. Let's clear a big confusion here, of course. Tax is not joining the game with new missions or a peculiar story line. You are allowed to play this character in the current missions or in the Bloody Palace mode, taking into account the levels in the game. In other words, it can be said that you were asked to experience the same game in a different way with renewed technical details and a brand new character.
Apart from **Vergil**, different modes such as Turbo Mode and Legendary Dark Knight Mode, which affect the gameplay dynamics, have also been added to the game. For example, when you switch to turbo mode, you can experience much faster and action-packed gameplay by making more serial combos. The legendary Dark Knight mode, on the other hand, is designed for players who find the demons in the game ordinary and inadequate. Thanks to this mod, more demons can taste your sword.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition version developed for **Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X / S** brings with it many technical innovations as I mentioned at the beginning. Although the game is the same with these innovations, it has been specially optimized for these consoles and has been made to work better. There is a game in front of us that kind of breaks its chains. I played the Playstation 5 version of the game and I would like to share both the details on paper and my experiences with you.
Let's start with DualSense support first. As you know, the Playstation 5 controller includes features such as tactile feedback and adaptive trigger keys. Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition uses all these features of the DualSense controller, except for the 3D sound feature. When you swing a sword, make combos or different effects on the game field, you feel that the controller gives you feedback in different ways. For example, situations such as the recoil of the gun in gunfire are directly reflected to the controller. Also, Nero's sword Red Queen, as you know, has a motorcycle-style gas system. Apart from normal sword strokes, when you start to rooting the gas with this sword, you feel that the trigger button reacts accordingly. In short, the game has used these features of DualSense very well and this adds a great color to the game.
While the game was being transferred to the new generation consoles, some visual improvements were of course also made. ray tracing technology is one of these innovations. The game, which is already visually successful, has been made better with ray tracing technology. Here, of course, we see that there are two different options for the players. First of all, if you are playing on a monitor or TV with 60 or 75 Hz values, I would definitely recommend you to play Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition in graphics mode, that is, ray tracing supported.
But if you have a monitor or television of 120 Hz or above, the color of the work changes a little more there. The performance mode in the game turns off ray tracing technology and offers 4K resolution just like the 'ray tracing quality' mode. Although it makes a smart upgrade in this regard, it also allows you to play the game at 120 FPS. I have to say this in advance that the game, which is already fast to play, has been taken to a much different action level with 120 FPS. You feel the animations, combos and that intense action flowing like oil.
Finally, let's talk about the loading times. DMC 5 was a production that did not upset the players, if we do not count the first uploads in this regard. With the performance brought by SSD technology, loading times have been very shortened. This means that when you die or want to try different gameplay styles, you will never wait.
**As a result, we can say that Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition has been a good opportunity, especially for players who have not experienced the PS4 or Xbox One version. If you like the action genre with new technical features and Vergil and you have a new generation console, I wouldn't miss it. On the other hand, it offers a completely different experience with 120 FPS as well as memory freshness for players who have played before.**
My Review of XCom 2 Collection IOS
***From the very first video of the game, I understand how the world is in a mess.*** The aliens, whom we have fought hard before, come across as they continue to run for their own purposes. We are trying to get the XCom team back on their feet and continue our operations, which received great blows but had no intention of giving up.
Pros
- More enjoyable with touch screen
- Types of enemies
- Fun combat strategies
- Character and base customizations
Cons
- Frame problem
- There's still a shortage of targeting
Of course, this change of the story has changed the roles a little in terms of gameplay. We are now on the attacking side, and most of the operations proceed in this way. We rescue a kidnapped person, infiltrate the bases under the control of aliens, and try to overcome the obstacles we encounter one by one. Speaking of privacy, the strategy part comes to the fore quite a lot here. Especially if you make a wrong move in the sections where you need to proceed like this, you can find yourself in the middle of a big blockade. This makes it very likely that you will encounter a farewell that you will never want.
In XCom 2, task processing progresses in stages. In other words, after each mission, your home base returns, after you perform operations such as the team, ammunition selection and update, you set out for the next mission. As you improve your base, you open the door to new formations and updates with the radio towers. Base development has also become very enjoyable thanks to the touch screen. It has a Shelter game logic in itself and you spend a considerable amount of time here. Of course, along with the development part, the classes your soldiers have are also of great importance for your strategy. I usually add a class that is an expert in bomb throwers, heavy weapons, as well as Support, which offers more improvement and support to the team, and of course the Specialist class, which is master in remotely interfering with events. You can customize your own team according to your strategy and, of course, your business style. The fact that each class has its own distinct features diversifies the conflict dynamics.
Of course, you need to pay attention to the classes and types of the competitors you encounter with. After playing for a while, you start to figure out which class is very dangerous and how you should intervene. In this solving period, the important thing is to be able to pass the sections with minimum damage. At some points, I have to say that tough struggles are waiting for you indeed.
As I mentioned at the beginning, XCom 2 has a turn-based gameplay. So you have to follow the moves of both you and your opponents as if you were in a chess game. While the wrong moves you make hit the team, the right steps you take can enable you to overcome the conflicts that will last for minutes in a very short time. It is very important to determine the positions of the characters in the game area and which class you will position on the map.
After the main dynamics, let's move on to the mobile version of the game and its graphic style. First of all, as I said, I tried the game on both iPhone and iPad. Visually it looks pretty good on both. Although I play the iPad version on a 7th generation model, I should also mention that they have some problems with the frame. It is very fluent in some moments, but in some tasks you play the game with 20-25 frames. I can say that this slightly undermines your enjoyment visually. Apart from that, as I said, I have to say that it is technically pleasing for the mobile platform both in terms of gameplay details and visuals.
Of course, the biggest advantage of the mobile platform comes with its touch feature. Playing this type of turn-based game on touch has made the overall structure of the game more enjoyable. You can fully control the map dominance or character positions thanks to the touch screen. In addition, I can say that the class features, accessing the attack menus and the choices you make among them are more effective thanks to the touch screen. It is very pleasant to play and control.
As a result, the XCom 2 Collection mobile version has already successfully transferred a proven process to mobile platforms. The biggest handicap of the game in our country, of course, lies in its pricing due to the exchange rate. If you love the genre, if you liked the PC versions of the series, or if you have enjoyed the mobile version of the first XCom game before, I can say that it is a game you should not miss.
A nostalgic gameplay in The Medium
I like psychology games. In **The Medium** game, which is in the psychological horror genre, we control a character named Marianne. Towards the beginning of the play, Marianne, who we know to be a punk, was raised by someone she filled in for her father figure. Marianne has some exceptional powers, who have been supposed to be extraordinary since her adolescence and deserve this claim. In our The Medium survey article, we should investigate the account of the game and these subtleties in the ongoing interaction.
Pros
+ The story makes you wonder about the details
+ Interdimensional functioning
+ Puzzle dynamics
+ ambient sounds and element of tension
Cons
- Simple scare methods
- Dull approach to events
- The game pushes you to linearity
One of these extraordinary powers is that although not called limbo, a comparative measure can appeal to their souls. We understand that some of those with expiration dates got stuck here and were sent to light by Marianne. Strictly speaking, he likewise depicts a character who has several dreams and helps dead souls. The highlight of these points of view is a young lady kicking the bucket. Having seen a similar vision over and over since her youth, Marianne has no idea why she really has these powers.
We get a surprising phone call in the first minutes of the match. A character named Thomas on the other end of the phone says that he understands our name as he knows our mystical powers. After expressing that he needs help, he names us an inn and in a sense seeks a secret. Like the character, we start the game with this undefined. After a little story transition, we go to this neglected inn, where an extraordinary massacre took place a long time ago.
As I referred towards the beginning, the game involves the making of nostalgic games. As you probably know, numerous edits, such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, came out with a fixed camera spot. However, with the development of innovation, we saw that these regulations were transmitted as TPS, shoulder cams, and even FPS. Let me give you some extra data by opening a small section here, probably on the grounds that the biggest break in the game has to do with this fixed camera point. The main reason games have a fixed camera plot for a certain period of time is lack of expertise. Therefore, besides these camera points, areas outside the camera are not really accessible in games. Because the draw distance and the drawn areas were less, the filmmakers could additionally zero in on the depiction.
The environment has elements that function admirably right down to the fixed camera point. At the point you leave a room, there are times when you can't hold the character because of the camera point, but the overall work has been steadily maintained. This fixed camera can pick up floating items in certain minutes and allow us to see more regions from our development. The biggest challenge lies in the chase scenes. In certain snapshots of the game, chase scenes are remembered for the desire to expand the horror component. These chase scenes, which appear in other scales, are a big progress with the character running towards the screen. This design slightly upset both fixed camera sensitivity and interdimensional uniformity.
Exploring around in the game also allows you to learn new subtleties. You can get more data on the story and universe of the game from news breaks and what you find. Marianne can similarly collaborate with things she comes into contact with. For example, when you enter the inn, you can watch an old shoe on the ground and hear the hints of disappearing before. Similarly, you can hear discussions so you can access both the progress of the story and the extra data in these lines.
Team Bloober added a framework that we don't regularly see in the game's ongoing interaction elements. This frame may fail in certain moments, but I think it should be complimented for the creation group undertaking something different from what was previously expected. As I mentioned in the game, there are two different measures and you see these two measurements at the same time for most of the game. As a result, every region and room you walk around has truly comparative designs of different sizes. Thus, you see that even the development of your character in two dimensions is very similar. For example, while addressing a soul in another measure, Marianne actually takes a similar path and speaks.
Of course, this dimensional functioning is also reflected in the puzzle dynamics of the game. Just as you can progress at the same time and find different items of different sizes, Marianne can only control her other dimension when she focuses. In this way, you can only go to some areas that exist in other dimensions or you can open your way this way. Let me also mention that you cannot use this feature for very long. After a while, the focus of the character deteriorates and the other side begins to disappear. Of course, we have the chance to break focus and refocus immediately.
Apart from these two dimensions, you can also make dimensional transitions through mirrors after a certain stage of the game. In other words, Marianne, who moves in laylaylom in the real world, can pass directly from the mirror to the other dimension and can only control the character here. I can say that all these transitions have been enjoyable because they are designed according to the puzzle structure and the playing field. But while both worlds have similar errors, running in long corridors in another has damaged this integrity a little, as I have just mentioned.
The game progresses in a somewhat linear structure. So if you are going to solve a puzzle in a room, the game confines you to that room. It doesn't allow you to scour around as well as in Silent Hill or Evil Within. I can say that this is perhaps the most disliked aspect of the game. It has a beautiful world, but you always feel like there is a hand pushing you from behind. Except for the chase moments and some unnecessary stealth dynamics, the world of the game is beautifully designed. The story makes you wonder and you start to question the purpose of the characters you encounter. In addition, I can say that following and reading what happened in the past with the information you collect gives a special pleasure to players who love detail like me.
This world of the game has a structure that I can say visually good. character expressions are a bit dull, but enough for a game of this scale. The two world dynamics are beautifully designed. In other words, you do not encounter a perfect visual, but I can say that it does its job successfully. The game is technically fluid, but although I tested it on a high hardware, I also encountered frame drops from time to time. Finally, the soundtrack and ambient sounds of the game have succeeded in fueling the tension element. Akira Yamaoka, who has already signed the soundtracks of the Silent Hill plays, signed the soundtrack of the game with Arkadiusz Reikowski.
**As a result**, *The Medium does not rediscover America, but manages to offer a different experience with its nostalgic structure. It would be a much more successful game if the work was carried forward by focusing only on the ambient sounds and the element of tension, but in some Jump Scare moments and horror elements it starts to become commonplace. In short, I can say that The Medium is a production that you can get a nostalgic taste if you like the horror, thriller genre.*
Let's Explore Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Pack Together
As the name recommends, it contains two games. The first of these is the patched up Switch adaptation of Super Mario 3D World, solely delivered for the Wii U support. We don't see anything new as far as story here. Bowser shows up once more, capturing a gathering of pixies and detaining them in manors all throughout the planet. We are attempting to accumulate the group and salvage the pixies from the containers they were detained in.
Bowser's Fury is the second round of our bundle, and it is delivered completely only for Switch. Bowser, Mario's most despised foe, shows up affected by a dark substance, a lot greater and more irate than previously. Bowser Jr, who needs to save his dad. We need to work with and clear the dark matter that has taken Bowser. As far as story, neither one of the games guarantees profound substance. In any case, the primary solid place of the two games arises in ongoing interaction. So how about we proceed onward to the part where we will examine the two games independently, without broadening the story part excessively.
**Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury** contains both a renewed version of the 3D World and a brand new game called Bowser’s Fury. Since Bowser’s Fury is a very different game compared to 3D World, we need to consider the two separately in the gameplay part. Super Mario 3D World is a game that was released for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and received positive reviews from the players. In fact, we can say that the biggest problem of the game is that the majority of the players do not have a console and therefore it has been overlooked. Contrary to its name, we try to complete the episodes with one of the characters, each of which has its own unique abilities, in a world that is not exactly 3D.
In the beginning there are four characters we can play. We choose one of the four characters and try to complete the episodes, each of which consists of different concepts. Luigi, who can jump higher but is out of balance, Peach who walks slowly but can float, Toad who runs faster but is worse at jumping, and Mario who can do everything to his own self are the characters we can choose at the beginning. We should not forget the Rosalina, which you can open after completing the main story, and Captain Toad, which is given to us from time to time.
We are trying to collect enough green stars to allow us to enter the next castle by navigating between 2.5 dimensional platform sections and 3 dimensional sections that allow free movement. Almost every episode has a different concept and most episodes have a different gameplay style. In the haunted mansion, there are sections where we escape from ghosts, we do not play by following the shadows reflected on the wall, we walk in secrecy without getting caught in the lights, where we ride on the back of a dinosaur on the water and much more. Section designs such as puzzles that we solve using the touch screen, floors that change their place according to the music or our jumping, mazes in which we try to find our way in pipes "Let's see what's next?" manages to keep his excitement for a long time. (The different episode designs that we come across constantly manage to keep the excitement of “**Let's see what's next**” for a long time.)
It is very enjoyable to play with a lot of different episodes, lots of different power-ups and characters who have their own abilities. There are some problems, of course. For example, it is annoying that a game that claims to be 3-dimensional restricts us with fixed camera angles. The fact that the game was exclusive to Wii U allowed some parts to be made using the console's touch screen. On the switch console, you are trying to compensate for these sections with Joycon's motion sensor. As someone who enjoyed this system in Mario Odyssey, I could not get warm in 3D World. When you use the console in handheld mode, the touch screen becomes active. In this way, you can experience the episodes as they should be.
Super Mario 3D World offers multiplayer support for up to 4 people. If you've ever played a Mario game in multiplayer mode, you know it's both a fun and frustrating experience. In this game, on the one hand, while trying to complete the level, you have to engage in struggles such as collecting the most points and attaching the first crown, grabbing the power-ups, reaching the top of the flagpole.
The multiplayer mode is great fun but I have some complaints. Some parts of the game are designed for only one person, and it becomes a complete mess when many players are involved. The camera takes his head away, you cannot control the dinosaur in the water because two people are shooting it in different directions, and the worst thing is that the actors have common rights. If a player constantly dies and runs out the number of rights, everyone is thrown away. The chaos is fun, but it's ridiculous to even kick out actors who didn't die because their rights were over. You can imagine the suffering of a person trying to play with his 7-year-old nephew. Also, since the amount of rights you have at the end of the section is preserved in the next section, it is very unreasonable to enter the next section with only 1 right. Since all save points will be reset when you are discarded, it makes more sense to die when you enter and play again by renewing your rights. Considering that the game gets very high in difficulty after a certain episode, do not neglect to apply this tactic.
The multiplayer mode also has online support, so if you don't have anyone at home to play the game, you can also play with others over the internet. In addition to the problems I mentioned above, there is also a problem of not getting the character you want, but if you ignore it, it is a very nice feature. However, I would rather not play at all than with Toad. It's boring that there isn't an option, at least until Rosalina opens up. At least they could have added Daisy to the game, or they could let players choose the same characters.
The Switch version of Super Mario 3D World has brought some minor innovations to the game. There are improvements such as the ability of the characters to move faster than the original game, to roll or dive in the air. In addition, the photo mode known as "**Snapshot**" has also been added to the game. In this way, we can shoot with the camera in the game and stick the stickers you want on the photo. The fact that the camera angle of 3D World is fixed can prevent us from taking pictures as you wish. The number of tags we can use on a photo is also limited, and we can't play around too much, but it's sure to be a fun add-on.
As a result, 3D World, published in 2013, is a game that will allow you to have a very enjoyable time on the Switch console. You feel as if you are playing high-quality episodes in a script by a lot of different designers in Mario Maker. Yes, some boss fights or puzzles start to repeat, especially towards the end, but this is not a big problem. You can play alone or with a few friends and have a good time. Many improvements could be made in the Switch version, but I think they didn't want to spoil the original version.
It's time for the game in **Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury** that attracted my attention. Although Bowser’s Fury looks like a DLC pack added alongside 3D World, you realize that you were wrong when you enter the game. First of all, the fixed camera is gone, and we can freely navigate the Lapcat Lake region with a camera that is completely under our control. Lapcat Lake is a place where you can get enough of cats. Everyone, friend and foe, has somehow assumed a shape related to cats. This time, Bowser Jr. is not our usual teammates with us. has. We are faced with Bowser, who is much more angry than before.
Those who have played Mario Odyssey before will be no stranger to this episode. Just like in the Odyssey, we collect gold from the surrounding area, solve puzzles, collect things called "**Cat Shine**" hiding in secret places. The place of our hat friend is Bowser Jr. has received. If you are playing alone, you can choose how much Bowser Jr can help you. While you are trying to overcome the obstacles around, Jr. can collect gold for you and hit the enemies with his brush.
The area, which is mostly sunny daily, reveals its real face when it gets dark and the rain starts. When Bowser, possessed by black matter, awakens, meteorites start raining down from the sky, peaceful cats around the lake become more flaming, and we have the opportunity to go to some places we normally can't reach. There are a number of different methods to quench Bowser's anger. First, it is possible to find the object named "Cat Shine", activate the nearby lighthouse and make it go back to sleep. When we find enough "Cat Shine", we become a huge cat by taking the power of the giant bell and get the opportunity to fight one-on-one with Bowser. When we beat Bowser well, he escapes to a new area and we continue our work to save him. If neither option is possible, it is possible to wait for him to return to sleep after a while after yelling and blowing a flame on us. The last option is to die. In this case, Bowser goes back to sleep.
**My Result**
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is a great package that includes two different games. Bringing the gems stuck to a console that most players don't have to this Nintendo Switch is definitely the right decision. It is annoying that they do not add some features and repetitive parts in order not to spoil the original form of 3D World. Bowser’s Fury is not as good as I expected, with its repetitive parts and short game play time. You have to think like the presentation of the game that is planned to be released in the future, not like the main game. But the good thing is that these two games are together.
**Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury** is worth the $ 60 price tag with the two games it includes. It takes at least 15 hours to sit down and finish both games alone. With the addition of features such as collecting all collectible objects and playing multiplayer modes, a very long game time is offered.
Phantom Thieves' New Adventure with Persona 5 Strikers
Persona 5 Strikers is an interesting gaming experience for me. After the events in Persona 5, we see our main character (Joker) and Morgana return to Cafe Leblanc. The group, which came together, plans to spend the Christmas season outdoors, with exercises such as touring. At the point where we go to buy outdoor materials, we return to Metaverse with an icon meeting we experienced and the card we came to.
**Persona 5: Strikers questionnaire**
Experiencing another type of room called the prison, the group sees that the enemies take control of the desires of the individuals here. I would prefer not to get any further insight into the story, but there is still a manager and again we will probably stop the chief and intervene in situations that affect this current reality. As if the detention facilities in Metaverse weren't enough, we actually need to show our innocence to the police who dismissed us about the events.
**Versatile Phantom Thieves Branch**
I couldn't choose what to say to the Persona 5 Strikers account. If we compare it to a typical game, it's great both in terms of narration and diffusion. The basic story has about 40-50 hours of interaction. Our experience starting in Shibuya reaches various parts of Japan after a 10-hour main mission that normally continues.
I said the story is acceptable compared to a casual game, but when it comes to Persona, we also have to analyze it within itself. The story length is short for a casual Persona game. Few stories are not told as expected or unnecessary. There are things that become clear with the addresses made during the war, even if you make the language of the game English, it is absurd to expect to understand the mess. When you need to perceive, focus, and read what's going on, kick the bucket and start once more. Likewise, it's a bit tragic that the story overlooked Persona 5 Royal and some critical characters in the main story were not named.
These are not huge cons. Persona 5 Strikers is not a JRPG game and has excelled as a story. The barriers I've mentioned are things created for players who see Persona for themselves and don't do business with a variety of game types. Overall, they provided equitable content on behalf of Persona.
**The Musou Type We Know Thanks to Anime Games**
Persona 5 Strikers was superior to what I expected regarding the story. We will move on to the ongoing interaction part in the same way, but first we need to clarify for a moment what the class we call "Musou" is. Truth be told, it's possible to skip this by saying "Hack and Slash" or activity game, but it can't explain it fully. As a matter of fact, "Musou" is a word that started from the names of the games made by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force and started to be used to revive the class. Like "like souls", we can see this as a species in itself. Especially the favorite class of most anime / manga games (Attack on Titan arrangement, One Piece: Pirate Warriors arrangement, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk) was also liked in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity presented for Switch. Be late. The musou games, which give us control of an incredible character, continue by eliminating many of the enemies we live with.
As soon as I heard that Persona 5 Strikers is going to be a musou game, I have to admit I was a bit suspicious. Likewise, Strikers, a joint effort between Omega Force and Atlus, who made Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, refuted my questions and turned into an extraordinary mix of different sides.
**What Is Waiting In The Fights?**
Persona 5 Strikers gameplay is divided into two different parts. The first is Metaverse, which Omega Force has made for years, with well-known musou style action sequences. The second part is the "daily life" parts that take place in the real world and that we are used to from the Persona series.
Let's first look at the action part, which is the main focus of the game. We can roam freely in Shibuya's Metaverse prison. There are collectible items, security lights and guards in the vicinity. The guards are actually the shadows that keep the area safe. Instead of fighting enemies directly on the playground, we need to attack the guards who will start the war. It is possible to trap or attack directly from a safe spot. If the guards spot us before, they will attack us first, which causes us to start at a disadvantage and increase the alarm level in the prison. In this respect, it is very similar to the original Persona 5. The real innovation comes when the war begins.
When we start the attack, we see the game's new combat system. While we control one member of the four-person team, artificial intelligence takes over the other three. Competitors are shadows again, and these shadows turn into personas whose masks we can collect from time to time. Everyone has their weaknesses and strengths. We switch between melee, ranged combat and our persona attributes and try to stop the opponents as quickly as possible. While it may feel like we can fight by pressing all the keys and swinging powerful spells, we quickly realize that we need to use the game mechanics properly. After all, his health and ability powers (HP) are not infinite, the cost of recovery is high.
First of all, we can go around and join the fights with four of the nine members of the Phantom Thieves team. Just like in the original game, Strikers made sure each character played a different role. We have characters such as Haru, who disperses crowded groups with his ax, Makoto, who can strengthen his weapons with nuclear force and focus on a single target, and Ryuji, who combines the power of lightning with his durable structure and turns into a tank. There are 10 characters that we can control and 9 of them are open at the beginning of the game. According to the types of enemies in the area, we change between characters and determine tactics. I also liked the newly added Sophie and Wolf characters. They are not just for a new character, they are very strong characters in the story and in the game.
During the fights, we fight as 4 people against large groups. When we call a persona and want to hit the opponent from the weak point, time stops and we can choose which direction to attack and which skill to use. Also, each character has special attacks and we improve as we use them. The Joker, who initially only fires with a gun, can jump to enemies with bullets in the next levels, and at the last level, he can accumulate bullets and use them in a powerful attack. Each character has such developable special attacks.
We said that our team members are nice, as long as there is no fight, we can change it as we want. There are 4 different members in fights and we can take control of one of them whenever we want. Other team members attack enemies according to their heads. Normal difficulty is not much of a problem, but in difficult (and later, more difficult) levels, annoying things can happen. The character, whose health or energy I try to keep high, when I switch to another person to attack from a distance, he can kick and slap the enemy and consume his energy for no reason. I had to keep an eye on my teammates while fighting.
It is also possible to interact with objects found in prisons. We can climb on cars or poles to advance without being seen by enemies. Thanks to these points, it is possible to pass without the enemy noticing us or to make a stealth attack. During fights, we can attack with objects in the environment. There are activities such as damaging enemies by turning around the post, dropping hanging objects on the enemy's head, blowing up cars or dropping them by riding on a skateboard and onto enemies.
**No More Stretching Due to Time Limitations**
The daily life episodes of the Persona series are also available in this game. At the beginning of the game, we have the chance to see the places we remember from Persona 5 again and walk around for a while. Social life episodes are not as intense and tiring as Persona 5. Again, we talk to our friends and spend time together. This time, we are trying to improve our relationship with the whole team, instead of developing relationships with individuals individually. As our relationship develops, we gain points that we can spend on skills that are useful to us in dungeons. Abilities are divided into many different types, such as opening high-level cases, increasing the strength of characters, more persona masking, and more experience points.
**My Conclusion Comment**
Persona 5 Strikers is not a game made by hiding behind the name of a popular series. It was the best musou game I've played, with its story, playing time and fighting system that successfully combines two genres. It's like a simplified version of the Persona series. Persona 5 Strikers has been a job well beyond what I expected.
Before finishing the article, let's come to the important part. Persona 5 Strikers has two major issues and needs to be taken into account before buying the game. It is not mandatory to play Persona 5 before playing Persona 5 Strikers, but it is highly recommended. The story takes place after the previous game and in order to get to know the characters and understand the subjects they talked about, you must have finished the previous game. The main problem is that Persona 5 is only on the Playstation 4 console. Nintendo Switch or PC users should either go and buy a Playstation or research the issue online if they want to know the story beforehand. The main story itself is independent, but you need to know the story to understand some of the characters' movements.
The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos My Gaming Experience
**I like various games.** **I really liked the idea of a detective story.** The story of Eridanos from murder begins as we cruise on our trusty boat "**Unreliable**". Halcyon Helen, known and admired on almost all planets, was murdered shortly before Rizzo's upcoming item was shipped. After accepting the news, we go to Eridanos upon a request and try to appease the murder and discover the source of the strange events.
At the point we arrived in Eridanos, due to the inconvenient flight of the past visitor, the most perfect room of the inn was allocated to us and our group. We try to overcome the murder with our gadget that recognizes the irregularities in Eridanos and our assumption list, consisting of base-propelling rockets and interconnected islands.
There are different types on the speculation list, such as a fanatic fan, a former, once a star, and now a star in the sidekick. To discover the executioner, we must speak to every speculation and hear a point of view about them. Each of the suspects is located in various corners of Eridanos and we go through many fascinating events during our transit to communicate with them. For example, it is possible to experience countless things like extremely specific workers wandering around with insects around their neck, a robot trying to "milk" wild creatures, a more risky labyrinth, and the strange executioner who slaughtered in front of us. individuals with whom we chat.
Each of the characters we experienced throughout the story was new and important. Every assumption we talk about has specific reasons, and each acts in a way that makes them say "This might be the killer". To tell you the truth, a few speculations like the "Prophet of Profit" believe that when you have both important causes and chance, one will inevitably take the situation. We report our discoveries towards the end of every review we make in the game, and we can guarantee that the suspect will be kept in custody until an election is made. When we detain what we say "**This can be the executioner**", we do not contact completely innocent people. While most of the decisions we make have minor implications, towards the end we begin to agree on choices that will change the course of the story.
I don't want to give more information about the story. Thanks to the information we gathered with our auxiliary device called “**Discrepancy Amplifier**” and what we learned from the people around, something new happens when we say “**I solved the incident**” and things change again. I have some discomfort with the part of the story, I think it could have been better, but it is beautiful even in this form.
There are also a lot of side quests we can do around. An advantage is that side missions are not boring fetch tasks. I spent 11 hours on normal difficulty, doing some of the side missions to the game. Considering the replayability of the story in different ways and the price of the DLC, it gets a high score in terms of the story.
**A Life Passed On Long Bridges**
Murder on Eridanos passes completely over Eridanos. There are no tasks we need to go out of the system and tackle on different planets. I am not sure if it is correct to call Eridanos a planet though. A place built on huge boulders that are suspended in the air with propulsion rockets and connected to each other by bridges. Thanks to our private room, we do not even have to go to the ship. The planet, where the beverage company Rizzo develops its own products and makes them ready for consumption, also hosts the dubious company employees called SLUG.
We can reach different regions through bridges. These regions have different purposes such as delivery area, production area, research area and wild area. We need to find and question a suspect in each area. Each region is home to its own order and dangerous enemies. While looking for the area where the victim was having a picnic, we suddenly come across problems where wild bee-flies were attacked and the SLUG and Rizzo employees blame each other.
There are no big changes in the gameplay part of the game. There are a couple of new weapons and armor, but don't expect too much. The real shine of this add-on package is in the unarmed areas. Solving problems is very enjoyable with a character who has a high level of persuasion and attaches importance to science and confidentiality. Our research device, which has an artificial intelligence, congratulates us after the correct observations we made. With this device, we can follow the footprints, examine corpses, analyze suspicious substances and have them take us to the source. It has the ability to shoot, but it can be. My biggest problem with the device is that it always repeats the same thing sometimes. We're on the trail, at least if you had added a few different comments.
We can pretend to be a "**good cop - bad cop**" with Parvati to get more talk from the suspect we question. In fact, in cases where words are insufficient, there is even the option of "squeeze those 1000 credits into your pocket". When the systems that keep the rocks on the air are in trouble, we can repair it ourselves, or we can actually find and convince the person who needs to do this job. Murder on Eridanos has a gameplay that makes full use of our character's abilities.
We are in a huge area built on rock fragments connected to each other by bridges. Here is the most annoying part of the game. Bridges! The atmosphere is very nice, the first time you pass the bridge, the tension you experience when you look down is reflected very well. The distance between the regions is also long, it takes an average of 15 seconds to cross from one bridge to another. Although interesting for the first few times, the bridges' interestingness ends very quickly. There is a fast travel option but I wish the bridges could be made a little more interesting. Since there is no fast travel at high difficulty levels, I pulled the difficulty level down after the first bridge. Despite this, I'm tired of bridges, I don't know what those who play at a difficult level live.
With the package, our character's level limit also increases. In order to enter the DLC, we have to reach a certain point in the main story. However, if you intend to come here without going too far in the main story, I would say be careful. The game is tailored for high-level characters, and low-level characters may have trouble because of their abilities.
Result
The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos has done a great job as an add-on package. In the Peril on Gorgon review content I said, "**I really liked the idea of a detective story**". This time it takes the incident one step further and allows us to see our character as a detective. In the story, talent and dialogues are more prominent than weapons, conspiracies are quickly revealed, and when the story is over, you leave with a sense of satisfaction according to your preference.
If you enjoyed The Outer Worlds game, don't miss Murder on Eridanos. An interesting and exciting story from start to finish, a gameplay in which you show all your character's abilities, and the opportunity to affect the result with your choices is not a feature that is too much these days. we can see. Although "**Discrepancy Amplifier**" can be seen as a new companion in a way. If you haven't liked The Outer Worlds gameplay before, don't expect this pack to work miracles.
Cyberpunk 2077 My Expected Gaming Experience
I finally got Cyberpunk 2077 after a long build process and successive delays. The game, which we start to wince every time we see a yellow page, actually started to show that it needs a little more time from the very first minutes. Of course, I will talk about these errors and the optimization and graphics of the game. I used the **Gigabyte NVidia GeForce RTX 3080 Eagle** model as a video card to play the game I tried on different systems in ultra RTX settings. In other words, I will share with you many details graphically, including **RTX** and **DLSS** technologies, in the article.
As you probably know, Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in a city called Night City. Although this anecdotal city in the US state of California was first named Coronado City, it was named the City of Night after the death of Richard Night, who formed its framework. I'm not going to tell the past of Night City or the world of Cyberpunk, although it might be too long. Since there are a large number of assets for this, important situations in the game are regularly highlighted.
The main detail to know is that it is a corpus of the establishments of the Cyberpunk Universe dating back to the farthest frontier of the 1800s. During this period, institutional conflicts, unfortunate events, and surprising characters also shaped this city's bleeding past. Some of the key characters identified with the game and from now on we see their accounts during the game. Many characters known to those who know the Cyberpunk universe, such as Johnny Silverhand, his beloved Alt Cunningham or Rogue, Adam Smasher, stand out in the game in one way or another. Cyberpunk 2077 has a history comparable to today's history. In any case, the timeline has indeed been proceeding as an optional date line since the end of the 1800s and especially the mid 1900s. In the 80s and 90s, we see that innovation developed a lot and many organizations were effectively thrown in the cyberpunk world with thousands of years. I might want to discuss the state of the game instead of focusing on the city's past in the article.
While the universe of Cyberpunk 2077 may seem small from the beginning, it is meant to be truly full. I have no idea how exactly to convey this, but I can say that the universe of the game is the most powerful planned world I have ever seen. Obviously there is a lot of subtlety in games like Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5 or The Witcher 3, but in terms of thickness Cyberpunk 2077 was taken to a completely different level. In this city of enormous buildings and tall buildings, the guide plan has a design that expands vertically at certain foci. When you step out of the rooftop, you feel like you are in a truly enormous world. I can say that crowded meetings of individuals, neon lights, high floors reaching to the sky, flying vehicles and the developed environment make your eyes a little dark. The most worrisome issue here is that the public event is not fully regulated. The shape of the city center has been adhered to. Nevertheless, although there are structures in some regions, the inability of birds to fly and the inability of convoys have revealed this imbalance.
Night City is as dim and dangerous as it looks bright. You can experience an alternative event around every corner. You can walk through an armed conflict and get involved. Or it's entirely up to you to rescue a looted inhabitant. In your own landfill, you can deal with these as if you were pulling from margarine. Even so, they'll give your mouth a good bid if you shut down more misty roads or come off as a saint when you enter an area heavily influenced by a large group. You are eating the shot into your mind without taking your head off the channel. Now you realize that the route is constantly pointing to the main streets as you go on a mission. Gradually I found an alternative route and went to the back entrance. Here, gangsters blocked my direction and a limited scale clash broke out. If you encounter similar situations, especially in key locales, you're less likely to leave that path alive. Situations like this solved how to create the harsh environment of Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a full game in terms of tasks. There really is a ton of work to be done outside of the main story. Apart from the side missions you get from important characters, there are hundreds of points to visit. You realize that there are many things to do when you see the signs that appear even in a tiny area when you open the map. There are many places you can interact with such as implant points, restaurants, night clubs or gun shops. As I have just mentioned, you may encounter some random events. Apart from all these, your phone almost never stops. So even as you move towards an important task, there are constant job offers, different jobs are unlocked. As soon as you say "Brother, I'm busy, I can't bother with the phone", you see that message notifications start to be sent to your mobile phone.
Apart from this mission structure, mini-missions and question marks that you do not know what are scattered on the map. If you remember, a similar system was used for Witcher 3. Although sometimes there are small thefts and elimination tasks, sometimes you may encounter very funny or beautiful tasks that branch out. This situation has also made the mini-missions and question marks on the map colorful. The biggest problem in the mission system is that it sometimes feels too disconnected. So I have passed the theft, removal tasks, these are the tasks we already do to earn money and what is very easy to understand. But sometimes you find yourself in tasks that you cannot understand what you are doing and why. There is a slight imbalance in this regard.
There are seven different regions in the game: Watson, Westbrook, Heywood, Pacifica, Santo Domingo, City Center and Badlands. Let me tell you about my own experience to show the density of the area more clearly. If you do not count the entry scenarios that I will talk about a little later, you start the game in the Watson area where your apartment is also located. Even the Little China part of Watson district was the main starting point of the game. I noticed that in almost the first 10 hours I played, I had never been out of this area. There was still a lot to do in that area. Speaking of the starting scenario, let's talk about this resume system of the game.
There are three resume scenarios in Cyberpunk 2077 named Nomad, Street Kid and Corporal. Whichever of them you choose, you start the story differently. All of them cause you to start the story at a different point of the game, but also bring some advantages.
Nomad: This selection actually has the most different story in the resume section. Because you're starting directly outside of Night City. We pick up a cargo to get into the Night City and we start the story with our vehicle broken on the way. It was really enjoyable to see these barren lands called Badland right at the beginning of the game and to drive here. When you enter Night City in this selection, where you can portray a more free-spirited character, things can get a bit of trouble. Characters who are not very kind to out-of-towners may snub you in some dialogue choices.
**Subsequently, Cyberpunk 2077 has prevailing with regards to being a creation that stands out with its reality and subtleties. There are such a large number of blunders, an excessive number of inadequacies, however the overall construction of the game is agreeable to the point that I played it with incredible delight in spite of these mix-ups. Furthermore, during the time I played, there was never a second when I became weary of the game, folks. In any case, in the event that you need to play without issues, Cyberpunk 2077 necessities somewhat more time.**
I'm Playing With My Dad
The biggest reason for me to write this title is that the games we played with my father were in my mind.
Today I understand that my father had done many things to us, consciously or unconsciously. It allowed us to socialize by bringing us together. It also helped our attention concentrate on something and improve our ability to listen. Our inner world had the inoculation of listening to stories together, being together, that is, a sense of ourselves. Second and most importantly, it opened a curtain to the imagination of all of us and left the images and emotions that we could portray there to our imagination. My father is the reason why our imaginary world has developed, and despite being a big woman today, I put the ladder of dreams at the most difficult moments and climb right to the top and look at life with hope… "
While preparing the book in which our experts explain their childhood years and their communication with their fathers, their relationships, their own fatherhood and their relationships with their children, I understood much better the importance of the concept of 'father' and the foundation of the future construction of father and child relationship.
The thing that brought me back to the past, reminded the importance of the game and reinforced it was an Instagram page that I followed. On this page called "Playing with My Father" I saw how seriously a father works to set up a game for his child. At that moment, the games I played with my father came to my mind.
It is a joy to see and watch someone who takes this job seriously. Because we need children to play, to get full of games, to dream and to grow their inner and outer world with hope with these dreams that flourished in childhood. For a brighter future, yes, children playing and dreaming will contribute to the greening of our grass and pastures.
It is the most important indication that parents who raise the bar of imagination by playing with them are doing this job seriously. I know I extended it, but in order to explain the importance of children's imagination, we need to dive into our own oceans.
The voices of our children at the bottom, the voices of our mothers shouting "Come on my child, now home" by shaking us down from the fifth floor, we are getting to the house and knock on the door of the nearest neighbor in order not to be disconnected from the game, we take an express need break and as our friends' voices rise, we are being late for something, half wet from the break. We need to dive into those bottoms where we leave and tug on our pants, rush to the playground and continue where we left off, dust soil, steel rods, fireballs and dozens of other games we cannot get enough of. Whatever we find, we must take out, embellish, justify, adapt to the age, go beyond the age and seriously participate in the game. We must play with the children. We should be children with them and live our childhood together ..
My footballer wants to be a Player now
As a mother, it is a little frustrating for me to watch my son transform from such an active, passionate football player to slave, screens and video games. It makes me feel like I'm at a crossroads: What if I think it's a waste of time, actually a possible profession? As they say in the lawyer movies: This is "reasonable doubt."
The pandemic is changing our lives in a very radical way, technology is addressing every aspect of people's daily lives, but I can't tell if this is for the better or, conversely, human misfortune. A year ago, my son was worried about not being able to do the sport he loved so much, now in a dusty corner of the ballroom and a dress with spider webs that betrayed the lack of use of this sports equipment.
Now I watch him sit with his console, my mobile phone, or the computer, creating games with his virtual friends, the same ones that accompanied him last year, and with a freckled ball in between. The boy spends hours watching videos of some gentlemen who are now called Influencers or Gamers, these are young millionaires determined to share their experiences and strategies before millions of zombies like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldos, the new age of the digital age, sorry, followers of the world.
Well, my son said now that he just wanted to be an Actor, he would make a lot of money by imitating his new idols (not the old ones), but what worries me the most is that he feels that way. This is an easy way to make money and there is no point in forcing him to go to school because none of the sports idols 2.0 were trying to commit to it.
I sat for a while to analyze it before I applied some "red cards" to my attempt to convince me, because it's clear that the issue of players and influencers is definitely a money making business. On the other hand, I, his mother, are proof that you can really make money by putting a lot of effort into some platforms, and I also have to admit that on this social network that specializes in monetizing content, spending time just following game idols, especially with people I think are doing interesting things in the world of cryptocurrency and sports. i am doing the same
But to make a decision, I first need to see what this world of gamers and video games is all about. I accompanied him for an hour observing (as far as I can endure) these characters, their strategies and the way they explained what they were doing, and although I don't understand anything, it seems to me a very must-have trade. your art. in communication. Likewise, the strategic nature of games includes the sport of science, an intellectual formation applied in chess, and the preparation of professional players with a great conscience, be it sports or shooting games. Like an elite athlete, not little, there is a lot of money in this activity.
For example, instead of banning the profession, it was to integrate the interest of this activity with its academic responsibilities and regain interest in sports practice because these video games are overly sedentary and their health suffers in the long run. On the other hand, in the communicative part, at the address, I'll help him express his ideas in a creative and more or less professional way. By applying this strategy, he will definitely realize that this is not what he thinks, that the way to become an actor is more complicated than my son could imagine.

Drawing and editing to create my own group computer
Two months ago my exploration advisor told me "are you?" Asked. He investigated and was interestingly reminded to do a similar investigation. Coincidentally, I am an analyst and I am dealing with problems using various calculation styles. At this point, we were investigating my inspection issue and trying to skip the end time of a meeting to promote my discovery. As soon as he threw that question to me, I figured out how to solve it, I started talking about computation. He intervened and explained how it really affected me, "If you run your program right now, will you get the results in the last post?" I figured out how to fix my anxiety, but I didn't know I needed more assets. Working with computers realizes that knowledge is absolutely everything. During this time, he sent a Beowulf batch from computers in my expedition guide. I had no idea why I was doing this job until I was in a situation where I had time.
I have presented most of my test productivity using my computer, here intervening in recording assignments and rebuilding my lab-obligation computer. In the past weeks, I have been willing to buy a PC worker, supercomputer, or anything with such remarkable forming power. In any case, I was surprised that I didn't have the money to buy these expensive computers. Looking at it was the cheapest computer I have worn out at any point in my life, at that point it came back to my mind.
I recorded extraordinary events that consumed almost no operating ability as well as the size of this computer. From projects that use RPi to build their own computers, enthusiasts and experts appreciate what is different from these goliath bands, it is modest and does not cost a lot of support. You can have your own computer for only $ 25-35, depending on the model you need to purchase. Isn't it so incredible?
When we take a look at the recording power of this computer, the processor and 1GB of RAM cannot handle the confusing attempts you make on real workers and supercomputers. Still, this truly palm-sized computer can be grouped with other RPi; This means that from the consolidated recording power of the numerous RPis we use, we can build a PC that can fulfill the processing commitments we have to make.
Another benefit of using RPi to create your own group PC is that you realize how to make a group of computers and how it works. Once you finally see how it works, you can continue to redesign your band with better equipment.
After doing tons of reviews on the web, I recorded other important things I needed to buy like a powerhouse, wi-fi switch / switch, ethernet connection, miniature usb connection, sd card, and worker rack. Actually, I can buy them online, but my financial plan is really limited. An RPi worker rack cost as much as an RPi, so I chose to plan my own worker rack. The photo below is an outline of what I have as my primary concern, we have a laser shaping machine in the lab so I can do this using some piece of acrylic sheets. In my next post, I will show you a report on what the finished item looks like.
At the point where I had the option to make my first bunch in 2018, when we left our old workstation we had to destroy everything. I couldn't try and play a computing task using this group, at that point there was nothing left but to send a Hello from the processors of the three computers I gathered. When rebooting this time, I believe I can use it really well.
Step by step instructions to build RAM memory with accessible assets
Now and again our PC is somewhat shy of assets for the exercises we do. Not all the time you have the financial assets to purchase a RAM memory that has greater limit. This is the place where I am demonstrating how to utilize or change over piece of the hard plate memory into RAM memory.
Model: If you have RAM, memory is 2 GB, 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB. With the change that we will make in this instructional exercise, your PC will be around twofold. I need to make something understood, a module or two with RAM memory to introduce isn't equivalent to taking memory from the hard plate and changing over it into RAM memory.
This can help the cooperation much better and on the off chance that you don't have the monetary assets it very well may be an answer.
The means you should follow are the accompanying:
**First:** you need to know the amount RAM your PC needs to realize the amount you can add from the hard drive as found in the picture.
**Second:** you can open any organizer, look for hardware, and right snap on properties as found in the picture.
**Third:** Once in the window go to cutting edge framework settings as found in the photograph.
**Fourth:** Once in the framework properties window, go to the high level alternatives tab and afterward click on settings as found in the picture.
**Fifth:** Once in the exhibition choices tab, go to cutting edge alternatives as found in the picture.
**Sixth:** Once in the high level alternatives tab, go to virtual memory and snap on change, as found in the picture.
**Seventh:** Once in the virtual memory tab, you should uncheck the container that is shown in the picture.
**Eighth:** Once all alternatives are empowered, go to custom size. In this container, you can enter the RAM limit in MB that your PC has. For my situation, my PC has 6 GB of RAM, so I can put 6000 MB = 6 GB of virtual memory for RAM.
In the crate beneath, you can see the most extreme you can put. I put 6000 MB = 6 GB, however in the event that your PC has a committed video card of 1 GB, 2 GB or 4 GB, you can take 25% is suggested, just 25% of the limit of your card. committed video or GPU. Significant: I am not alluding to the incorporated designs of the processor. Just to your PC's committed video card or GPU.
For this situation, 25% of 1 GB of video is 250 MB; it is the fitting add up to add more in the lower box alongside the 6000 MB of virtual memory for RAM.
That is, 6000 MB + 250 MB GPU = 6250 MB would be the greatest you could add.
Subsequent to adding the sum in both boxes, click set and afterward acknowledge.
Promptly a commercial will show up requesting to restart the PC, click on acknowledge and wrap up shutting every one of the windows to continue with the restart of the PC.
After the PC restarts, you can begin doing the various positions and you will promptly see an improvement in how rapidly your PC functions. After a couple of seconds, the group will begin working a lot quicker than previously.
**I trust this instructional exercise encourages you accomplish a superior exhibition in how you manage your PC. Remember to give me a LIKE and post a remark, you would be of incredible assistance with that.**
Remember to impart the data to family or companions who might be out of luck.
Tips for Improving Gaming Performance on a PC
I've put together all the things you can do to maximize the gaming performance you can get from your computer.
Playing games has become a part of many of us life. However, sometimes even small performance differences can be significant. There are some settings that can positively affect performance for more games and more entertainment on both desktop and laptop computers. What are these, how to adjust them, let's see together.
**Stay up to date**
Today, computers sold in the market can come with different operating systems. For example, the Dell G3 15 laptop we used while preparing this article comes with Windows 10 operating system. Of course, it is possible to find PC models with Linux or FreeDOS operating systems in the market. However, it can be said that Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system has become the standard platform for PC games like many things. Therefore, our article will be mainly on Windows 10.
First of all, make sure that you have made the Windows 10 updates completely. Performance improvements and fixes come with each new update. For example, with the upcoming Windows 10 2004 version, some problems in processor and disk usage are expected to be largely overcome.
Make sure that all components in the system, especially the graphics card, have updated drivers installed. You can check out our AMD and NVIDIA guides for video card drivers. Use up-to-date drivers for all components, especially the graphics card, motherboard chipset, sound, and network drivers.
Make sure the BIOS is also updated to the latest version. Because important improvements and corrections can be made with BIOS updates.
**Unnecessary Applications**
Uninstall unnecessary and unused applications on your computer. Many applications can continue to run in the background even without you knowing about it. For this, you can follow **Windows 10 Settings> Applications> Applications and features.**
Besides, you can see open applications with the help of Task Manager. From here, you can close applications that you are not using and that take up space in the background. It is possible to sort the applications that use the hardware most by clicking on tabs such as CPU, Memory and Disk.
**Services**
Another issue is Windows services and you may not have used some of them at all. We can open this section by typing 'Services' in the Windows Search pane. Here we can see all the services hosted by the operating system, running or not running. When we right click on the service we want and follow the Properties path, we can stop the service we want or set the startup type to Disabled.
The point we need to pay attention to here is to choose the services you will stop well. If you are sure what the service is doing and will not disrupt the system's operation, you can disable it.
**Performance Settings**
Best Performance
**Click on This PC> Properties**. Alternatively, we can go to C**ontrol Panel> System.**
Let's enter the Settings under the Performance section from the **Advanced system settings> Advanced tab.**
From here, let's check the 'Adjust for best performance' option and click OK. If you do this, you will have to waive some Windows images.
Battery Options
Let's go to **Control Panel> Power Options.**
From here, we can expand the options by saying **Hide additional plans.**
Finally, let's choose the **'High Performance'** option, which is among the options.
This process will focus our computer on performance rather than power saving.
In notebook computers, battery consumption can be significantly affected.
Apart from the settings offered by Windows 10, it is possible to take advantage of some PC manufacturers' own advanced control software. For example, Command Center software on Dell computers provides the ability to adjust fine performance settings such as processor frequency, fan speed, and so on, which we often cannot access directly from Windows 10. With this software, it will be possible to control the game performance in a much wider way.
**Temporary Files and History**
The leftover files of the applications we use on the computer accumulate over time. To clear these, let's click on the folder that appears by typing '% temp%' in the Search pane. You can delete all files contained here.
Additionally, type **"recent" in Run and click OK**. The last transactions you made will appear here. You can delete all.
**Starter Applications**
After opening the Task Manager, let's enter the Startup tab. Here are the applications that will start automatically when our computer is booted. If there are unnecessary applications that we do not want to run at startup, you can disable them with the "Disable" option after selecting the application.
**Hard Drive Optimization**
It is unnecessary to apply the hard disk optimization option for SSD. However, it is a necessary option for classic HDD.
If you are using a HDD, after logging in to This PC, right click your hard disk and enter Properties.
From the Tools pane, first check your drive for errors in the Error Checking section.
If errors are detected in your drive, go to the fix option.
**Disc enhancement;**
Likewise, go to This PC> Properties> Tools tab.
From here apply the 'Optimize' option to your hard drive.
This option defragments partitions on the HDD and provides faster access to data. This will have a positive effect on performance in some cases.
**Use SSD**
If your computer does not have an SSD and you can afford it, buy at least 120 GB SSDs. You can run your operating system and the games you play the most from the SSD. Because you will feel the big difference in transition from HDD to SSD. The opening time of the games and the transition in the loading screens will be much faster. Moreover, SSD can also positively affect the performance of the game in some scenarios. We heard from many users that some games became more fluid after the use of SSD.
**Xbox DVR**
Windows' Xbox Game Bar feature can negatively affect game performance in some cases. To turn this setting off, go to Windows 10 Settings> Gaming> Xbox Game Bar (Xbox DVR).
You can turn this setting off from the top option here.
**Oyun Modu**
Go to the Game Mode option from the **Windows 10 Settings> Game>** pane and turn this setting on. Thus, when you run a game, Windows 10 will redirect system resources to this job.
**Security Software**
If you mainly play games, pay attention to the performance factors of the security software you use. Before buying security software, you can do a little research and read reviews about that application.
While you are in the game, the security software can negatively affect the game with its actions in the background. In this case, you can also choose to switch the security software to game mode. Most advanced security software now comes with a Game Mode option inside.
**AMD And NVIDIA Panel Settings**
Both brands have their own control panel. First of all, to go here, you can right click on the desktop and click on **"Radeon Settings"** or **"NVIDIA Control Panel"** according to your video card brand.
Here, on both NVIDIA and AMD sides, there are sections where we can make general settings and settings specific to the game. On NVIDIA side, you can go to this section with **Managing 3D Settings option.** On the AMD side, you can watch the **Game> Games path** from the main menu.
It is possible to change many settings from the graphics card software that will affect the performance. However, the settings made here have different effects on each game. For example, while a setting has a positive effect on FPS in a game, it does not have any effect in some games. In addition, while the setting made may negatively affect the graphics quality of the game, this is not noticeable in some games. So these options and sub-settings are the details that should be changed from game to game.
**In-Game Settings**
The in-game settings, which are similar to the settings in the graphics card software, are one of the most important factors. Increasing the resolution and other settings over the graphics settings of the game generally causes a decrease in FPS. In addition, most of these settings put a load on the graphics card, while some of them can increase the load on the processor. In other words, you can get the best result by changing the settings according to your system components.
**V-Sync**
You can see the V-Sync (vertical sync) option in both the in-game settings and the GPU software. This option is used to fix the FPS rate in games according to the refresh rate of your screen. Although this setting is not recommended for competitive games, it can save lives in many games.
In other words, if you do not have an eye on high FPS values, you can have a more stable gaming experience by activating V-Sync.
**Steam Launch Options**
Launch commands specific to each game can be entered in Steam. Some commands contribute positively to game performance. To access this option, right click on the game in the library and follow **Properties> Set launch options.**
**Some commands for example;**
**-high:** This command starts the game in high priority mode.
**-fullscreen / -full:** This option forces the game to run in fullscreen.
**-freq 'value':** Sets at which Hertz setting your monitor will work in the game. For example "-freq 144"
**-threads 'value':** You can make the game use all cores by entering the number of cores of your processor in the value field here.
**Clean Installation**
A clean installation can sometimes fix problems radically. During the time we use our computer, we install and uninstall dozens of software and games. Some users can make changes to files and registry entries willingly or unintentionally. Some users, on the other hand, may be left alone with various errors and performance problems that they cannot understand.
