    You'll need two miners of the same model and some parts to do that. If you have two miners of the same model on your racks, you'll only get the bonus power from one of those. With merging, the newly crafted miner becomes more powerful, more bonus power and more mining power than 2 separate ones.

      Thanks, thats a nice uplift. Do they also increase proportionately in value usually? Or we need to check this before crafting?

        Yes, usually the value is twice as much or even more which is as it should be cos the part prices should be taken into consideration too. Sometimes I've been doing calculations and found Uncommon miners that are extremely undervalued on the market so before merging, you might wanna check the market first. I use the RST token to parts from parts cases at the moment. On the market the part prices are sky high now.
