First Battles in the Silver League I have been playing Splinterlands for around 2 months now and have decided to try and play in the Silver League I. So far with some mixed results. I have bought a few cards to strengthen my deck, but also need to rent plenty of cards too as I need to have at least 3 playable Splinters and also enough power to be able to compete in the Silver I league and maybe higher to Gold? So far my Stats this season are below:

With 8 days to go I have managed to get 19 Silver chests so far:

So far I am liking it in the Silver I league because of the higher DEC and XP rewards. It was frustrating in Bronze getting such low rewards. But I also need to pay more because in the Bronze league, I wasn't renting 20+ GF cards! lol I have been lucky to sometimes get on a good winning streak when playing my Earth Splinter. My backup splinters are General Sloan on life and the water splinter. I can play fire but don't have a very strong deck. Having 3 splinters to choose from has helped increase my win ratio quite a bit instead of just relying on my Earth Splinter deck. I am still trying to learn the correct positions and combinations though. Sometimes I am making some very rookie mistakes! Here you can see that I have got into a few losing streaks sometimes which can be tough.

At the moment it is hard to keep track of all the cards I am renting and not forget to renew on time. I am trying to check each day in Peakmonsters the rentals that are expiring so that I can renew them or let them expire. In the meantime, I am also researching the best ways to improve my game and compete at this level. That's it for now.
