When I buy a pineapple I twist the top off of it and lay it in the kitchen window for a few days then plant it. https://noiseapp.b-cdn.net/myjob/ba472f0dd31664e4cea11ad36e7d677b.jpg Once it grows a new pineapple, I twist the entire thing from the mother plant.
