As you can see from this list, Chelsea and Manchester City have the most representation with 5 players each and PSG has 4 players. There are 30 contenders on the list. The winner will be decided on 29 November. It seems to me that Robert Lewandowski will get the golden ball for the second year in a row. Consistently high results and consistently high performance are the main criteria for the winner, and out of the whole list only Lewandowski fits. BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION.
