Holidays Rest day

Recently I've been switching with ways on how to deal with my son and with my work. With the fast approaching of many business offers from other clients I've been meaning to have a mini break just to catch up with my son. Whenever I ran home from a whole week at work he always complains about me having no time for him at all and just went home to get some rest from a lot of work. I'm thinking of resigning and just do a freelance work, but my son is only 4 years old and I got a long way to go to feed him and give him all his needs so I need a stable job to raise him. So no choice but to keep with my work and try to balance my time with my son. This has always been a problem since after pandemic where I have to stay in the office for week and can only go home during weekends. During the holiday season I got the chance to use my leave and got a 2 weeks off from work ...haaaaaaaaaaaah it feels good to spend mostly of my time at home coz I rarely go out except buying groceries. My son is also satisfied because I got all my eyes on him during those days. We did everything we miss doing together. Surely there are times that we quarrel childish things just for me to get his attention over netflix and other necessary things. During normal days we did the kids modules, It's hard tutoring kids with different ages. It's tiring and also satisfying at the same time.Because I get to teach them a little education before I go back to my busy schedules. Maybe it's just me or a mother's instincs to badly want some cuddles and kisses from him all the time and he will always comply by hugging me . Literally, I spent those two weeks mostly with him. Hahhahahaha How did you spend your holidays.?
