The importance of the 1952 language movement ❤️ 😢 ❤️ The language movement of 1952 was an important event in the rise of Bangladesh. Our Bengali culture has survived through the language movement. The language movement, which started in 1947, reached its climax in 1952. 🥰❤️ Creating a sense of Bengali nationalism: Language is the medium of expression. The West Pakistanis attacked that mother tongue of East Pakistan. In response to the attack on language, there was a storm of movement in East Bengal. Together they became known in this ethnicity. ❤️ The status of Bengali as the state language: The West Pakistani ruling class wanted to introduce Urdu as the state language of Pakistan. In this all the offices, courts and educational system of East Bengal were introduced in Urdu. Then one day the Bengali language would be wiped out. This vile conspiracy failed in the face of the strong movement of the Bengalis. In the constitution of 1956, the government of Pakistan recognized Bengali as the state language.😍 Political Evolution: The importance of language movement in the political evolution of Bangladesh is immense. Bengalis were not aware of their rights. Political awareness was awakened among the Bengalis centering on the language movement. The language movement was the first step in political evolution. 😢 Victory of the United Front: The oppression of the Bengalis by the ruling group of West Pakistan in the name of suppressing the language movement was included in the political agenda and the United Front Muslim League was able to win the defeat in the 1954 general election. The victory of the United Front led to the downfall of the Muslim League and the rise of independent Bangladesh by the Bengalis of East Bengal. 😢 😯 Conspiracy Resistance: Since the creation of Pakistan, the ruling group of West Pakistan has conspired to rule and exploit the Bengalis. The Bengalis were able to resist the conspiracy that they said was centered on language and later it was possible for the Bengalis to thwart their other conspiracies. 😯 😍 Establishment of Shaheed Minar and Celebration of Shaheed Day: Numerous Shaheed Minars were erected in the cities, ports and villages of Bengal in memory of those who were martyred in the language movement of 1952. In 1999, UNESCO declared Ekushey February as the International Mother Language Day in memory of those who were martyred for the Bengali language on February 21, 1952, which is a reflection of the only language movement. Bengalis are the only nation who have given their lives for the language. In their memory, flowers are laid at the Shaheed Minar every year to seek forgiveness of their souls. ❤️ In conclusion, the importance of the national language movement in East Bengal is immense. #LanguageHistory 😢 ❤️ #OriginalContent ✌️ ✌️ 👉 Photo collected from Google 👈 Written by @tanvir2560
