What's that? Are they socks??
Lol! They are not socks 🧦 😄 They are carp 🎏 fish decorations which we, the Japanese use to set up on May 5th to wish 🙏 all the children to grow up healthy and well. The reason why we do this originates from a Chinese folk story that carp fish 🐟 swim up a water fall and becomes a dragon 🐉. In East Asia, a dragon 🐉 is a symbol of wealth, power, and health. So, we decorate this carp 🎏 decoration called " #koinobori " We even have an emoji for Koinobori 🎏 😆
