Life Guide : I can't forgive my husband's financial sense. I am a woman in my 40s. I live with my husband. We have been married for 8 years, and if you include our relationship, it has been 15 years since we met. A few years after our marriage, my husband stopped working and became dependent on alcohol. He had an accident while driving drunk, and his parents told me that it was his wife's fault that their son had become like this. We separated for a while, but my husband found a job and we got back together. My husband may be an "adult child" who feels difficulty in living even as an adult due to psychological trauma in his childhood. With that in mind, I have turned a blind eye to my husband's behavior. However, I can't forgive him for his financial sense. He lends money to others, and our savings for retirement is zero. She lies to me and takes money out of the house without permission. I'm getting worried about the future. I want to be with my husband, but even though I love him, I feel that it would be better for him if we divorce and live separate lives. Is there anything I should change in my thinking or behavior?
