When I first saw the Scottish Fold sitting, sure enough, "Cute!" but when I learned about the history of the Scottish Fold, I found it to be a "sad way to sit".　Scottish Fold cats are forced to sit in this way because of their poor skeletal structure.　It reminded me of an old Chinese custom called "Holding foot 纏足 ".　It is an old custom that forced women to hold their foot and say "cute" when these women with folded feet walk very meekly (well, they cannot walk straight with the folded feet, of course!) .　We've got to change this kind of old customs and thinking, I believe.
