The Prophet ﷺ said: "The worst person is one whom people leave to save themselves from his dirty or abusive language." We often abuse people to express how mean they are or how mean they have been to us. But when we abuse, we are revealing our interior. We are showing that when a person does something wrong, we are unable to face the matter with serenity and an open mind. We are instantly provoked and jump to the conclusion that so-and-so is evil and immoral. Talking about others with disrespect shows that we are full of ego and cannot tolerate disagreement.
