Another week has gone by in my challenge to open 1000 Chaos Legion packs, and I will closely monitor and transparently share all details about the challenge in these posts.

Road to opening 1000 Chaos Legion Packs Week 38 Update

Another landmark achieved in this challenge – we have passed the 80% completion mark as we have now opened 800 packs. It's funny thinking back to those early days in the challenge when I would get positive weeks; thinking would be the norm; oh, how naïve was I. This challenge has shown me that opening packs generally leads to a negative expectation unless the statistical variance gods are in your favor. Nonetheless, this challenge has brought about other positives; being consistent, remaining persistent, and focusing on the long term. As I have said countless times, I see this challenge as a form of investment in the splinterlands ecosystem.

Key Cards

While the challenge hasn't dished up many Gold Foil legendaries (one, to be exact), it's still a great feeling to receive legendary monsters/summoners, even if they are regular foil. For ages, I have had two Quix The Devious and finally got another one I can now combine to level two, which my alt account (battles in Gold III -> I) can utilize.
