Soulstorm Weekly Battle Challenge || Ep. #21 || Splinterlands
This week's battle challenge focuses on the Epic Death Untamed Monster, Soulstorm: Soul Harvesting is forbidden by the Dark Eternals, but some still practice these evil ways. Often, a Soul Harvest goes wrong, leaving the victim's soul forever doomed to wander the Splinterlands with no body. These wandering souls gravitate toward one another, forming sinister clouds. These clouds are known as Soulstorms, and if you see one coming, run.
Card
I didn't have this card and was only able to purchase one card. I would've ideally like to have it at level 3 at a minimum, but for now, it will suffice. At level 1, its already a useful card. It does a respectable three range damage and has a breakneck speed of 5. The sticking point with this card is its poor health, and therefore it is a must that it is placed behind the tankier monsters on the backline. Battle
From the get-go, going into the battle, I knew I wouldn't win. Playing with level 1 cards under the newly updated league structures, there is a rare chance that you encounter low-level cards as you go higher the leagues now. I was dead and buried as the battlefield loaded. The fight was done and dusted, and poor old soulstorm managed to get in one hit, but the battle was over before it even started. I find there are other more valuable cards like the twisted jester and pirate captain.
