A prayer Article #80 September 05, 2022 Happy Monday everyone! Though the weather is not good and many places suffered heavy rain we still have lots of reasons to be happy and hopeful all the time. Coz there's always a rainbow after the rain. Same as the problems that we face every day, never lose hope because everything will be okay no matter how hard we are experiencing such calamities it will end soon with God's protection and love for us. Yesterday as stated in my recent article, together with my family we visited **Basilica Del Santo Nino De Cebu.** The first thing that we did was to light a candle and offer a silent prayer. thanking God for all the blessings that we received and the gift of life that we have right now.

As we cannot visit here for almost three years during the pandemic so we decided to roam around and enjoy the place. there are some tourist spots at the back of the church like fish ponds, fountains, and the Magellan's cross. there are a lot of tourists who were roaming and enjoy taking pictures for souvenirs. there is one room there that really caught my attention and I go inside. I saw many paintings and statues of different Saints.

Habang Ji z loob ako ng simbahang ito,na ilalabas ko lahat ng mga hinanakit sa dibdib ko.mga lungkot at pasakit na naranasan ko ay naipapasalamat ko sa Diyos dahil itoy naging dahilan upang maging matapang at matatag sa anumang hamon ng buhay. Hindi ako palasalita sa mga problema dahil wala namang ibang makakatulong sa akin kundi sarili ko lang.kaya mas mabuting ipagdasal ko nalang ang lahat upang mabigyan ng kaliwanagan ang puso at isip ko.

On this side of the wall, there are a lot of papers being posted and as I go there I realized that it was a prayer from different people. I stand by for a while and enjoy reading their prayers. I would want to write also my prayers like what they are doing so I'll wait until the people will go.

I wrote a prayer on a piece of paper but I know even if I don't do it, God will hear me as I always talk to him in my heart.

I always ask for good health and guidance for my family. That's the most important for me. Money can be earned by working on it but health and peace of mind are hard to keep in life. Some people forget to pray and do not acknowledge the power of faith for so many reasons and I know we have different situations that we are going through to the point that they are losing their hopes and taking on the wrong paths. I tend to lose mine also but one time I asked the Lord why I encountered so many struggles and pain am I a bad person? I know I had a lot of flaws and imperfections but I still come on a positive way of life. The thought that being happy and having a peaceful life is a choice and it depends on you on how to handle everything into place.Just have faith in yourself and most importantly put God as the center of your life.
