once upon a time a farmer was planting corn when out of the corner of his eye he spots a dog but he notices some thing unusual straight away the dog was smiling back at him not just one head but three staring back at him the farmer quickly ran inside fearful for his life the dog sniffs around and ran off into the woods the farmer came back out and finished his work half a day later the dog returned the farmer watched him from afar most of the farmers fears had gone away by his third encounter with the animal soon after they became friends the dog even guarded the farmer from any one or thing that got near him for as long as he lived the dog stayed by his side no matter what the farmer did the dog never left the farm ever again the farmer eventually died alone on his death bed the farmer's children searched and looked but it was like the dog disappeared completely they finally gave up in search of him there is a saying in their family the 'dog always returns' but nobody believed in that anymore they have since given up looking for him they were only happy to be rid of him and so it was like the dog didn't exist for them anymore
