APPLICATION OF COLORS - LIONEL MESSI. Very good morning my dear readers, happy Tuesday for all my art lovers, today I want to share with you the painting phase of my work on Lionel Messi in which I make a small tribute to the greatest player in the history of FC Barcelona, something like the farewell I would have wanted for the player celebrating a goal in the stadium. For this moment I have applied some base colors for the character, starting with the skin for which I use colors very similar to those of the player, colors that I have in my color palette for a long time and would be great to give my more personalized touch to this work. For the uniform I decided to paint it like the last uniform that Messi used with Barcelona during the 2021 which I must say is one of my favorite uniforms of the last years, I painted a base of electric blue also of those that I have in my color palette, for the vertical strip there if I had to winterize a little this tonality, I took as base a scarlet red that I always use in my works in the last times but I edited it a little in the color wheel to obtain the red maroon that Barcelona has in its uniform: #RandomThoughts
