Armenia's Byurakan Observatory promotes regional astronomical tourism

The Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory in Armenia is implementing an international astronomical tourism project directed at the region.

Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory is a modern astronomical center, one of the most famous observatories in the former Soviet Union, as well as the Euro-Asian Continent. The Observatory is also a scientific tourism attraction. It was founded in 1946 by outstanding scientist Viktor Ambartsumian.
