Starting Without Permission No one gave me permission to start. There was no perfect moment, no encouragement, no clear sign that I was doing the right thing. I just reached a point where staying the same felt worse than failing. So I started small. One thought. One paragraph. One quiet decision to try. Some days I feel motivated. Most days I don’t. But I’ve learned that discipline is more reliable than motivation. Motivation comes and goes. Discipline stays when things get uncomfortable. I’m not trying to be impressive. I’m trying to be consistent. To show up even when no one is watching. Especially when no one is watching. Progress doesn’t ask for permission. It starts when you decide to stop waiting.
