One of my favorite dishes after lunch is of course the famous Baklava. This wonderful Turkish dish has taken various forms over time. One of my favorite combinations is Baklava with cherries. It's not difficult to make, here's the recipe, so whoever likes it and has free time, I sincerely recommend that he try to make it, and he will surely remember the taste for a long time... Pleasant... Components: 500 g of thin pie crust 500 g of cleaned cherries 5 eggs 1 cup of 2 dl sugar 1 cup oil 1 cup semolina 1 cup yogurt 1 baking powder For the syrup: 500 g of sugar 500 ml of water 1 lemon Preparation: Beat eggs with sugar, add semolina, oil, yogurt and baking powder. Arrange three crusts on a greased tray, pour the filling over it and arrange the cherries. Repeat the process until everything is used up. Cut the baklava into squares or triangles, then bake at 200 degrees until golden brown. (Three crusts can be filled with filling and rolled up like a pie.) During this time, make a dressing of water and sugar, which should be boiled for 20 minutes from the start of boiling. At the end, add the lemon cut into rings. Immediately pour the warm syrup over the baked baklava and leave it to cool.
