What are your tips to be able to beat the Silver League in #Splinterlands? I usually feel that everyone has dozens of expensive cards (like the Furious Chicken or Mylor), and I can't climb it using my cheap-o cards like the Sea Genie.

I like using the life splinter or fire. Attacking down the middle with magic doesn't work as most use reflect. You need to sneak and snipe their monsters from the side. Also furious chicken is worth renting as it can be the difference in the match.
Yeah, I'm really thinking about renting a Furious Chicken. Life is my weakest splinter, I just use them on high-mana matches where I can throw all the expensive basic Life cards
