The answer ks it depends. The government controlled the people in general. As well as the wealthy ones. How can we oppress the oppressor?
it is really hard to let go of the controls of big companies and politicians even tough crypto supposed to limit that control
Government will do anything for money you know. As long as there is money involved that they can take part of, they will definitely do the worse things to have control over it.
