https://cutlistoptimizer.com/ This is one of the best apps for working out the best optimisation for panels I've ever used. It's super simple to use and works unbelievably well. You enter the size of the sheet you have. This doesn't have to be large sheets like 2.4 ply or MDF. You can create references for say 100x50 (2x4) or 40x20 etc. The you enter the sizes of the pieces you want referencing the sheets. You can also set grain direction and it will calculate the best way to cut the pieces accordingly. Wasted boards are a thing of the past with this tool. I well recommend it for your planning phase. #Woodworking
