A recent employee left. Everyone hated her because she hated everyone. As team leader I wrote her a letter to basically apologise for the perception of me that she had and I gave her $100 as a leaving gift because I felt bad that the company had not organised something official for her. This was left for me this morning and frankly ruined my morning but the good thing is that I’ve lost nothing. The letter is screwed up because I threw it away instantly after reading but then I decided people like this need to be outed for the absolute trolls they are. Here’s the kicker. This is my favourite part of her letter: “I find it hard to believe your words. Too many times I was ignored, fed half truths or misinformation, or blatantly lied to and that is something I can never forgive.” This is coming from a person who was caught on camera creating a leave form with the explicit purpose of getting me in trouble. She literally committed legal fraud to get me in trouble and when questioned about it she said she was cleaning behind the racks. My wife is a fastidious cleaner and not once have I ever seen her wipe a dirty rag on a piece of paper to clean the rag. A dry rag I might add. I’m glad she’s gone and to her I say this: “100% of problems you face involve you”
