langka / Jack Fruit I am so happy because I saw yesterday a post of one of our fellow noisemates. They were harvesting their jack fruits and I was really craving for it. It's been a while since I've eaten it and this is my favorite fruit I grew up having many trees of it in our backyard. We have many different varieties from the small kind to the big ones wherein you know it is ripe because the ground will break and giving off the very pleasant smell that is it ripe. Today, Nanay brought some Langka or Jack fruit she said our neighbor gave us some because she knew it was my favorite..... haha! Really! How cool is that! I was just craving and saying I want one too out of the blue and then here it is. Thank you Lord so much! The Universe is my genie!👍😄 Life's simple pleasures. Let's eat.
