Our Underground River Adventure! On my earlier post, May 19 was my mother-in-laws birthday so for her 69th bday 3 years ago, we surprised her with a Vacation to Palawan. We really had a blast there. Sharing to you our Underground River photos. We were so lucky because our American friend had connections there in Palawan that on our way to the underground River we had our own boat and the coast guard as our escort, so cool! We were treated like VIP's on our tour there. We were personally greeted and toured by the Supervisor of the Underground river. We had the bangka all to ourselves. All five of us including our Van driver. Normally it holds 10 passengers plus the captain (you can see the other boats behind us). The experience inside the cave was truly immaculate you will see a lot of different shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites. It was pretty dark inside. Only the headlamps of the boat capt. were our source of light. Nanay was really very very happy because this was the second day of her birthday celebration and this was just the beginning of our adventures there. Hubby and I were so grateful that Nanay loved our surprise vacation for her. Hubby said, I just want to give nanay all the happiness she deserves for the remainder of her mortal life. My hubby is truly one of a kind😇😇
