I am surprised that a red umbrella protects from the heat of the sun better than a white and or green one. The light is too bright under the white umbrella, and under the green umbrella, which gives a dense shadow, it's still hot. But it seems that the red fabric does not pass heat rays and this surprised me. By itself, the red color should already be warming, but no, under such an umbrella it is most comfortable to be in extreme heat, although not as calm for the eyes as under green... its interestin gto hear or read that, because here in Andalusia/Spain in the very south of Spain with temperatures around 35 to 45°C in summer most people have white umbrellas, I guess mostly for nice look they deliver.
