This sunflower has suffered a lot from rains and strong winds. Once his already high trunk was knocked down and I made him a prop so that he could stand straight. It wasn't going to bloom then. Then a week of stormy weather began and I couldn't visit this sunflower. He fell again, but was able to raise his "head", stretch his "neck" and, having equaled my height, have time to bloom.
