Health, happiness, success, peace… We all have expectations and dreams from this life. The way to reach them is to intend, set goals, plan and work on our plans. However, there is another issue that should not be overlooked in this equation; shifting our focus to what we want to achieve. Because believe it or not, we magnify what we focus on.

The words of our ancestors such as “You reap what you sow”, “Wherever there is movement there is abundance”, we will receive a reward wherever we transfer our life energy; Words embedded in our language, such as "if we say something forty times", increase the probability that the things we focus on become real; The practice known in the spiritual world as “affirmation” says that if we focus on repeating what we want to happen, we will come closer to it. Not finished yet; The concept of increasing the probability of anything positive or negative that we turn our focus to has a counterpart in social psychology: the Pygmalion Effect. So the key word to achieve anything we want is focus.

What you focus on magnifies

It is even more important to focus today, where we are exposed to too many stimuli and even bad news at every moment of the day, when we are busy sometimes having difficulty in allocating time for ourselves, and when we are faced with stress at any moment. Feeling good and living well is as important as achieving our goals and realizing our dreams. At this very point, it is imperative that we focus on ourselves first and then what we are dealing with, what we aim for and/or what we want to achieve. Because the equation is simple; If we focus on the positive, we attract the positive, and if we focus on the negative, we attract the negative.

Set intentions or goals; because that's the way to turn your focus in any direction you want.

Listen to your inner voice and suggest; because believing is half the success!

Focus on the positive; And don't be the obstacle to your dreams.

Make a plan and stick to your plans; Proceed step by step towards your goals.

Celebrate your successes; Because despite everything, every step you take and every lesson you take will lead you to the dreams you focus on.

Change your perspective; because sometimes even if you can't change things, you can shape what you focus on, your reactions and your experience.
