On Saturday when I decided to replant the Japanese Roses as they were a little over grown and 50% were skinny because the mealy bugs already starting to infest the pot. but during unearthing and making the harder soil soften through a sift, I found the part where the flowers were fatter, there was a tiny family of mini earthworms found. I remembered in many tutorials and even in science and lifestyle classes during school time, earth worms actually helps soften the ground and also fertilize it with its discharge. I am happy that very pot actually contained soil that were once infested with mealy bugs and was dealt with boiling hot water to kill off whatever pests inside, dried and re-soil it with compost and fish meal; and now the soil itself is showing signs of recovery. What happened to the earthworms? I distributed 4 into 4 different pots; 3 of them actually has a compos bottles in it, and hopefully they will survive well there with the compost food instead of onion flies larva. #GardenChronicles
