𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 I hardly play #RPG games, but I love watching #gameplay ever since Final Fantasy came out. And last night I accidentally stumbled a renown game dated 4 years back called 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘁 - 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻. That was before I even realise that the graphics are so surreal that is not coming out from SquareSoft! What makes them so realistic is that other than just relying on the graphic artists to make motion pictures out of it, the advancement of using point indicators on human faces and special suits on 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 is astonishing, which was usually used in just movie making like Avatar; yet now they are totally on game play. 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.... ...𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲... Will one day humans be like 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝗲, registering their facial expression and then "entering the #metaverse" by getting on special suits come true? If that really happens, not looking at the 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 how humans are sucked into the never ending spiral of digital emersion, the job opportunities of graphics, mathematics, engineering that is all webbed in IT can be massive, at the same time, intimidating. Another troubling thought of the entire storyline, will Detroit in 2035 really turn into what the gameplay imagined? I have heard that Detroit has turning into the extreme 2 sides: wealthy suburbs and rotting slums (not to mention all the riots been happening), will humans one day be so engrossed with narcotics that they looses their #humanity, while the artificial intelligence gained consciousness, evolve and embrace "really being alive"?
