Isolated Man Found Dead for Days *Disclamer: image generated by classtools.net; but news is real.*

Just found out my neighbour's oldest son in his 50s has been found dead for days by his sister, who visits him once a month while paying tribute to their deceased mother. He has been succumbed by "natural herbs" drug for many months; first it was a herb he planted outside the house, claiming it treats diabetes, then before my parents moved over with me almost 2 years ago, started isolating himself. I still saw him from time to time when I was back home the last 12 months before the pandemic happened; and we learned that things got worse when lockdown happened, further isolating himself with no job; succumbed to overdose when his best friend who was occasionally stayed with him died a month earlier in an isolated abandoned house. Depression is real and humans are not made for total isolation. It is not the same with solitude, but even with solitude without purpose of life, the soul can perish deep into darkness and depression. No social media and entertainment through the *programming* can help overcome depression. Humans are born and wired for communion with one another. For those who are a little anti-social, pets would have made a great difference because it fuels purpose to wake up every day. But when there is no reason to wake up the next day, **this is the most dangerous time to be isolated**. We are sadden by the news because he was the old who taught me and the rest of the kids how to fly kites when we were little; and one soul lost into darkness when the reason to live is gone.
