This is just an open letter to all Malaysians who are reading there from my dad's first account on how the situation in Malaysia right now, and we must not be ignorant about it. See the blood stains on the bed? My dad had to patiently endured young and less experienced housemen who are working around the clock, exhausted, to tackle nursing tasks including administering insertion on the fly when needed. What happened to the experienced nurses and the more experienced doctors, you might ask? They are currently already transferred in shifts to battle at Covid-19 centers that are now currently increasingly spreading in the general hospitals, because the main covid-19 center that was transformed from eye specialists is now overwhelmed and overflow to other hospitals. The top floors of Hospital Selayang itself is already turned into covid-19 isolation floors, all because the care-takers and relatives who worked during the day came to take care of the patient at night were contracted with the virus and spread, and nurses and other patients were exposed. You can actually see from 21 May 2021, the overflow of ICU beds in the hospitals just in central Klang Valley clearly state that this is getting a lot more worse. I have friends and pastors who's family members are medical doctors and nurses hardly have any rest these days, and we are all praying for their health. Oh no, that's a lot of blood there. We hope for your dad's safety and everyone's safety there as well as the world. Let's continue to be responsible with ourselves so as not to spread more of this virus/viruses. May he be healed. Prayers for your family.
