The Rise of USDT Transfer fee, is USDC now a better option?

Wow... if it wasn't because there was a favour asked from my friend who will check out on a new token sale, I wouldn't have realised that Remitano , one of my most favourite place to buy and sell crypto via peer-to-peer, has gone up super high on the exchange rate! https://remitano.com/btc/my/join/2332093

Is it because of the gas fee that is going overly high, and exchanges like these are not taking any risks? Even with Poloniex exchange, ERC20 USDT now costs 6 USDT as withdrawal fees for ERC20... I know a lot of people are not favouring this exchange, but sometimes exchanging Steem to other crypto can be a lot cheaper compared to other exchanges. https://poloniex.com/signup?c=XLQY3T5T One of the cheapest withdraw fee as per today is from Huobi.com . This has been one of my recent favourite exchange to visit for quick sell offs as **Huobi** has quite a huge range of tokens they accept. https://www.huobi.com/en-us/topic/invited/?invite_code=2syn6 And I think they are recently pushing a lot of DeFi projects for us to stake with even 8% per annumn USDT returns. So far so good. I think even without KYC it allows for me to deposit. Not too shabby. However... USDT, my favourite stablecoin token now might be one of my headache tokens to look into especially when the gas fee is ridiculously high. Ethereum network will really need to look into this before it goes totally craze out to the point that small time buyers may not have the chance to start learning the usefulness and value of the crypto world. Well, maybe they can... but maybe not in USDT format... (and probably other stable coins too, unless we need to do all the homework every time before we transfer something) Sad day for me.
