Had the weirdest situation today at PancakeSwap, and had the first hand encountering 3 scammers impersonating to be support, because there was a weird situation happened using WalletConnect feature at the PancakeSwap.Finance page. Error was - suddenly, nothing is showing. Everything is ZERO Browser used: Chrome The moment I tweeted the incident tagging PancakeSwap and I went to the official Telegram group and typed "walletconnect problem" 3 "supports" prompted immediately to my DM. (Direct Message) And they were asking me to "try this URL" with a subtle spelling error. "waletconnect.pancakeswap.us" See the error: 1. WalletConnect spelling is wrong. 2. There is NO pancakeswap.us exist. And somehow, in Chrome browser, when I choose wallet connect, the address "changed". It didn't happen to Brave browser Conclusion: Chrome may have loopholes(?) that allows some virus syphoning data and changing it (?) Brave browser seemed to have blocked that. My experience: Had a really good chat with one of the main moderators in the official chat group. He / she is very helpful and we troubleshooted this and found out this odd case.
