My Snail Investment Portfolio in Nexo has Reached its Minimum Withdrawal Threshold, Did It Work?
96 days! Finally the day is here! The Steem that I have decided to take out (after the drama unfolded) and set aside for a super snail moving passive income instead of just converting one blockchain to another blockchain for some higher risk more active trading (manually or via bots) has come to pass to test whether this ***traditional finance yield and returns works or not***. I think when I first really heard about Defi from my friend, some people mentioned that Nexo may not be the ideal "DeFi" due to the fact that it only has a traditional username, password and 2FA mechanism to *allow others to make money for you* idealogy; and like what my local crypto social blogging community's big brothers' fair warning of **not your private keys, not your crypto** just like Cred (that just announced bankruptcy), **this can be a risky waters to thread on** if I am not ready to lose it anytime. Personally, with the current situation that is happening, it is truly well put that nothing is is permanent in this world where anything can happen anytime; and frankly whatever we have here we can never bring with us once we are gone... there's no such thing of a risk-free journey on this planet we call home I digress... Let's come back to what my "snail investment" works and if what Nexo stated is true: - No withdrawal fees Of course, there's a **minimal withdrawal amount**, hence I have to wait for at least 200 days for minimum investment amount for tether; but since I managed to pool in $250 USDT , **I actually can already test it at day 40**, however as I have been really busy and I let it run itself and only today I get to test it to see if it works. **So did it work? Was it fast to withdraw?**
True enough, when I tried withdrawing just the interest from my 250 USDT capital, it did mention that there is no transaction fee incurred for my withdrawal. **However...** **is the withdrawal process fast enough?** I actually decided to move it to my Uphold wallet (which is another kind of exchange with no service fee) in case I want to swap it to internal crypto without losing gas fee, so the next thing you will see is whether it arrived fast enough or it takes a whole day like any other "free withdrawal" services. Impressingly... In just 7 minutes or so, it is already in my wallet!
Here you can see that there was indeed no fee deduction. Perhaps the exchange itself has decided to absorb the fee; or perhaps, just at the time I was requesting the gas fee was low enough for them to go through. This is probably going to be another question mark for me until the next 40 day's time where I can test my withdrawal again for as little as 2 USDT with my capital investment of 250 USDT. Not too bad for an 8% per year return for this stable coin; unfortunately the other stable coin I tested was TUSD, and that one I have to wait for 500 days because I invested the minimum deposit that (at the moment) guarantees me 1 cent return a day with 8% a year yield. At least right now I have my first 5.5 USDT asset portfolio saved aside... But I might actually think of swapping it to DAI for staking... I think my friend mentioned to me before. Let me know what you think at the comments below? Whether if it is your choice, would you keep it in its original form USDT stablecoin or change it to other stablecoin at the moment? **Or perhaps I should move it into BTC instead**? You know it might still survive the long run because it's ain't ponzi

Congratulations on your earnings! I don't use that, so I'm not very competent to give you an adequate comment...
haha. It is ok. However it is very interesting that it does work despite some people who are so into decentralised Finance had an ill comment about it.
