I was beguiled by the slightly overrated #FamilyMart's promotion on their new range of "spicy versions". The onigiri is definitely having the spice hits, but the taste wasn't as flavourful as a typical #Malaysian Nasi Goreng Kampung. Maybe one day I might look into this in the future and make my own onigiri, but probably will skip the full spicy version and just place sambal ikan billis at the center. Also need to look for some Japanese vinegar to do so as well; but might use siam (Siamese Rice) instead for easier digestion for my parents. In the end I had my hunger pang settled while waiting for standstill traffic jam to disperse after a thunderstorm and 6 accidents detected on the road (via Waze), and that tiny milk didn't immediately save me from the spicy pain around my still tender mouth walls 😅 #Snacks
