The good and bad thing about DIY is that you learn a lot while getting your hands dirty and you may screw up if you're not careful, and this was literally because the laptop is 6 years old and it can be full of dusts and fragile. Good thing my office had an exact same faulty laptop model where I could practice one round with YouTube instructions before dealing with my own personal laptop that " badly needs a new brain" because its life span can be limited soon, with only 4GB RAM and Windows 10 automatically updated. Fortunately a "delicate procedure" changing its brain into SSD (Solid State Drive) could save it from overloading anday last another 6 more years. 😅 I'll try to write my full journey later. Right now I need to sleep since I have another long day tomorrow. #DiYprojects
