On the eve of #CNY in order to celebrate my brother's "covid jail free day" my sister in law's relative blessed us with this seafood layered pot. I think this is an inspired version of the "盘菜" (layered dish pot) where it is usually layered with meat, vege, lots of mushrooms and perhaps some seafood too. These days, they have the frozen commercial version. Do you have similar version of such a dish in your country outside the Chinese community? I think there is a similar western version . I can't remember the name but it is wrapped in a pastry and baked on a Dutch oven. 🤔
