Deeply Repentance...

Another great day to all of us! I hope you are doing fine while reading this message. I want to share something that really matters when it comes to go in prayer.  What is our intention when we seek God? Our needs, our hope, our salvation, the blessings, whatever it is, we need to be Holy in the sight of God. Like the prayers of Daniel in the Book of **Daniel 9:1-19.** He prayed to God not only for himself, but for the whole nation, can you imagine his attitude of being concern to others! What a tremendous characters he had. We, as a christian, we are responsible to our own Family, Neighbor, Loved once, friends and also to our Nation as well. Remember that Daniel was a righteous man who had lived an exemplary life of obedience and faith. If anyone had an excuse to deny responsibility for his forefathers sins and refuse to say he had any personal need to repent, it was Daniel. But that was not Daniels attitude at all.  He immediately and wholeheartedly identified himself with the Israelites who had come under God's judgement, and prayed as though he had been part of their sin and rebellion.  He asked for God's mercy and forgiveness on himself and his whole nation, and the fulfillment of HIS promise to cleanse and restore them.  When we are part of a group or nation that is characterized by sin, asserting our own righteousness and innocence is not helpful. Like Daniel, we need to pray this spirit of humility and repentance as an example to others and for the good of our people, instead of distancing ourselves for self protection. God is not too far not to hear our prayer. Be intentional when we seek our God. Not because we need something. God is always there to give us hope and a bright future. Don't settle for the past, just look ahead and pray to God... *Your Brother in Christ,* *liquidmetal28*
