"Penitensya Station of the Cross" Holy week is the time were people should repent for their sins and just like any other holy week, the tradition of most filipinos amd if I'm not wrong other countries as well thet go through penance or "penitensya". This is the way where willingly selected people go through this. This man visit the station of the cross to forgiveness of his sin that he do and they know what isthe real meaning of doing that. Penitensya is just like what happened to Jesus Christ back then when he is about to crucified. He is slashed at his back by sharp things to slap. And made to carry a cross but others just slap their backs until it got sore or blood. Others nailed theirsleves to the cross or if not being tied up. This tradition is something they look forward to, to suffer fron their sins and what God did fo us to receive salvation— save us from our sin. This is a serious matter and should be seen, this not to impress people but to give praise onto the Lord. This is also for us to redeem and repent our sins, to sacrifice everything like what God did to his only son.
