GOLD DRAGON: My Card Collection Optimization

My goal is to optimize my card collection to increase my strength in battle which will hopefully allow me - to access the most advanced leagues of Splinterlands: the Champion leagues. - to have some chance to rank in the prize positions of the fortnightly rankings of Splinterlands that have as a prize packs of Untamed cards. In order to optimize my card collection without having to invest new capital I decided to sell the gold cards that I did not use in battles. On January 15, 2021 I had 54 gold cards in my card collection.

Today February 9, 2021 I have 19 Gold cards so I have sold a total of 35 cards.

With part of the revenue from the sale of gold cards I bought two cards very useful in battle: - **Fiendish Harpy level 4** - **Tortisian Chief of level 4**

Now it's time to choose my third purchase goal. I chose to purchase a card that I've always really liked and often rented the last couple of days before the end of Splinterlands seasons. Card: Gold Dragon (level 3)

**Gold Dragon** is a card that is part of the **Alpha** and **Beta** collections. It is a **Legendary** card and is a card of the **Dragon** element. I chose to buy Level 3 Gold Dragon (Beta) because it is, in my opinion, the level that has the best benefit/price ratio. **Gold Dragon** of **level 3** has the following stats: - It has a **medium mana cost** (**7**). - It has **3 magic attack point** - It has **8 life points** but no armor points. - It has a **medium speed** (**3**). - It has three abilities: **Flying**, **Heal** and **Blast**. ***

Gold Dragon has three very good abilities, and in particular the Heal and Blast abilities are very useful in battle.

My Purchase Strategy The purchase method I use to buy Splinterlands cards is exclusively the BID purchase offer: a very useful feature made available by the website https://peakmonsters.com/ PeakMosters and the BID To have in my collection Gold Dragon level 3 (Beta) I have to buy a total of 5 level 1 cards or I have to buy directly a card already upgraded to level 3 (result of the combination of 5 level 1 cards). On the Splinterlands marketplace the best sale offer for Gold Dragon level 3 is **$30.73** ($6.15 per card).

I will be trying to pay a maximum of **$4,20** per card and have entered the data you can see in the image below.

Now, as you can see from the next image, I have 5 open BID offers and I just have to wait for some seller to decide to accept my purchase offer.
