there are finally enough #Splinterlands players to start draining the DEC rewards pool. you can see the current balance here -> https://game-api.splinterlands.com/players/balances?token_type=DEC&players=$REWARD_POOL i did some informal sampling earlier over the course of 20 minutes, seen in the chart below. definite decline. it had closer to 7 million balance a week ago. so what does this mean? DEC is once again becoming scarce, which will likely drive up its price, which will emit more DEC into the rewards pool....but before then, the community will feel some rewards shock, and renting will be more challenging. i tend toward conservative plays here. i haven't spent DEC in a few weeks, but i bought most of my cards a while back so i can chill on my accumulated value and ability to compete. finally, i'm pretty sure a not insignificant portion of DEC rewards are going to the thousands of bots in low Bronze....but their earnings per win are very minimal, and there's that $10 initial investment....not sure it's a big problem, but something to be aware of.
As we always expected, everytime any crypto token lowers its price, more and more will do a panic buying. Of course we are also expected that the price value will rise soon. But DEC is cannot be compared to some premiere crypto that already stablish their market stability. But we will hope for the best,as a splinterlands player, I also hold a portion of DEC. Informative topic you been raise up. Goodluck to all of us.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is it? , I've been in this wonderful world of more cryptos for a very short time and I need help .
I have also been thinking that the price of DEC might be due to going up most of all since the devs kind of said that they are breaking the peg when it comes down to Chaos Legion purchases. It's a tricky situation though and things would easier if it just always traded at the peg.
