♡Love Scam or also known as Romance Scam♡ (Please take time to read it because I have a true story that is at the bottom part) This type of scam involves romantic intentions to the victim, gaining their trust and affections and then ask the victim to send the money to that scammer. They target those single, lonely, desperate or those individuals who needs someone. They will tell you that they have already 'fallen inlove' with you and ask you to do something for them. For the people who frequently use the internet please don't fall for this kind of action. So how do you spot a love scammer? If they talked to you on the internet. 1. Ask for a video call (this is actually important) because if the person says his/her camera is broken there's already a red flag there. 2. Look for his/her profile. You can copy and paste the image and search it in google if there's another image like that you already know that he/she is a fake (if not, keep looking at other signs DON'T GIVE IN easily). 3. If they tell you that they need money for their 'hospital bills' or other stuff DONT GIVE THEM MONEY because you don't even know them (duh). (Take time to read this. It will be worth it I promise you ahah) I wanted to share this to you guys because my mom was a target of that kind of scam and it was kinda funny tbh because she was on facebook just minding her business and all of a sudden a man messaged her a very well dressed man who looks like a man in a business magazine lmao. So they were talking, right? and my mom just said she's a widow (because my dad did pass away like 2 years ago) and they kept talking and talking day after day. Soon after that the guy said he has already 'fallen inlove' with my mom ahaha and my mom told me this but in my mind I thought it was a scam. I did a little research about this person through Facebook and Google and I found out that person was really a fake. I showed it to my mom and she was fine with it because she already knew because there was also another person that messaged her saying the same thing 😆. When the person had messaged her again, that was the time the person said he needs money for something and would swear he'll pay her back 😆. Then my mom replied "I thought you're a owner of a big business enterprise. You have the money for that" (b**ch I laughed so hard on her reply😆) then she blocked the person and I reported him. End of story ahaha we can learn something from people everyday. 4/29/21 (12:52 p.m.) lemonade Credits to the owner of the GIF
