Pretty privilege💄 When I think about pretty privilege for me it means that "being pretty matters", why? Because pretty people can easily get what they want and has more opportunities in being successful. They are seen as to have better chances of finding work and other societal advantages. Being pretty/beautiful is subjective and we have our own opinions on what being pretty is about. I want to tell a story back when I was in elementary till my grade 11 years. When I was in elementary my mom's friends would say that "your kid is really smart", "she's so good in her academics", "wow! She's so creative" and that actually made me motivated in school. When I was in highschool, I saw so many pretty girls (that actually made me feel insecure lol). I still remember back in highschool were teenage hormones are still freshly baked (lol) that my mom's friend would compliment my cousin on how pretty she is while she complimented on how smart I am (but in my mind I kept thinking "wait. You don't think I'm pretty as well? ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ).Pretty people tend to get more attention than others in just one snap lol. They always get compliments on how pretty they are while I was just being complimented on my grades. They'd always get so many gifts when it's valentine's day from their admirers and so many students would want to date them(na mapapasana all ka nalang 😆). Society still runs with pretty people getting more benefits than others... 🌿This is based on my perspective and experience about this topic.🌿 5/18/21 (9:25 p.m.) Lemonade 🍋 I wanted to add some pics but the signal is weak again
