I still remember that one of the neighbors complained when I was going to school she said "why AREN'T you wearing makeup? You're already a teenager you should wear makeup to fix your face" it was still early and I didn't wanna ruin my day in slapping back a "why don't you EAT your make up to fix your attitude? You're already wearing it on the outside why don't you wear it on your inside as well? You need it more than me" I just kept it in my mind and didn't say a word I just smiled at her and still went on my way but I was bothered on what she said. I just wasn't the type of girl that likes to wear makeup even lipstick, I just wasn't comfortable wearing those things but after what she said I felt insecure about myself and I now sometimes wear makeup 😶 It's just really hard to go outside and people will then start comparing and telling you about other people about your looks. 4/15/21 (8:56 a.m.) Lemonade 🍋
