Good ol' Iced Gem đ Who doesn't love this sweet treat? I'm sure I'm not the only one who prefers eating the icing alone and leaving the biscuit out. đ Maybe if my time permits I will try and make a homemade version of this.. with bigger royal icing on top! đĨ°

I recently found out that the fruit supplier whom I'm getting varieties for berries from are delivering fruits again. I'm not sure when I'll be able to bake again but it's nice to know that I have the fruits I need accessible if I ever need them đĨ° Here are the fruits from her post. â¤ī¸

I'm a little late in this but it's some interesting news ! Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll have reportedly signed and will be joining the MCU! As excited as I am for Charlie Cox and the trio, I'm still a little iffy about the idea of a "disneyfied" Daredevil especially with what they did to the character of Wilson Fisk in the Hawkeye series. Hello fellow nanays! It's been a while since I last posted of shared anything. Our baby Axl is 5 months old now and he's naughtier than ever lol. He's rolling around on the bed, pivoting here and there, but what I love the most is when he rolls to my side to chill with me for a bit. He would coo a lot as if he's really trying to make me understand what he's trying to convey and how I wish I could decode what he's saying. I've also been regularly sharing my expressed milk to two of Axl's fellow babies. It feels so rewarding to be able to share and be a part of their nourishment in a way. That would be it... I'll try to get a bit of nap as my baby is also napping. Blessed day to everyone!

I decided to wear my acrylic retainers for the first time in a veeeeeerrrrrry ling while as ai notice my teeth was losing its alignment. Goodness! It hurts so freaking bad!!! It's like getting your brace adjusted again. Oh the nostalgia. đ¤Ŗ I will make sure to always wear my retainers at least every night after this. đ

Am I the only one who feels sad seeing animals on the zoo or in any animal park of some sort? I feel sad that they are not in their natural habitat and worse, they are being used to put on a show. âšī¸

It's been the longest while and I'm glad that I get to post again today :) Anyways, let's talk MCU. People had expressed that though the films that the phase 4 have released where critically acclaimed, they aren't just up to par anymore. If you are to think of it, before we would have to wait for at least a year to get another MCU film, but now they were being released consecutively (almost to the point of one month interval) So now it's a battle of quantity over quality. That being said, I also miss the original 6.âī¸

I gave Axl his first milk bath yesterday using my breastmilk. He has been having some dry patches lately and I researched that milk baths can be beneficial and nourishing to baby's skin. I must say that after his bath, his skin felt softer and has no redness or flare-ups.

I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to give my excess breastmilk to two other babies. One for my husband's soon-to-be godson and one for the baby of my sister's workmate. This morning I've been busy breastfeeding my son while pumping at the other breast. I already have 7 milk bags for them which I gathered this past couple of days. To be able to care and nourish other babies this way is the most amazing feeling!

Hello, fellow Nanays! Sorry for sharing this mess but I think some of you ladies could relate with this instance. I can never be more thankful for the blessings of having extra breastmilk to pump daily and to store for our baby. That being said, I'm already about to fill our freezer. With that I'm planning to donate some of my breast milk to some other babies in need. As the old saying goes, "share your blessings!"

Anyone here who's a first time nanay like me? Today I clipped my son's nails while I'm breastfeeding him. Before I'd wait for him to sleep then I'd clip and trim his nails but as he grow older and as he discover new things, he rarely takes a nap. One of the things that a nanay must be is to be "madiskarte" as some of our other fellow nanays would say. If you are breastfeeding, there would not be a moment where your baby is not with you. It'd be hard to make time for even the littlest of things so you have to be "madiskarte" . Now I can also eat my meals with one hand while breastfeeding or sometimes with my less dominant hand. Yesterday I was able to bake again for the first time in a long while and I baked my husband and I's favorite blueberry muffin with streusel and creamcheese filling. Maybe soon I'll be able to go back to painting too.

Hello to my fellow Nanays! Being a breastfeeding mom, I'm trying as much as I can to incorporate healthy food in my diet, I found a cold-pressed juice company last year called Pure Nectar and I'm thrilled to have finally gotten to try them out. Sidenote, cold-pressed juice are said to be not advisable for pregnant women for they are raw and unpasturized. You may somehow ask you Ob-gyne about it. The flavors that I got to try were Mango Cane, Calamansi Cane and recently, I bought their Green Supreme which I got to be honest, not the best tasting juice one will ever try... haha! I'm not in anyway sponsored by this company but as the saying goes, sharing is caring, so I hope I got to share something good to you ladies. All the best!

Johnny Depp won!!!! đĨ° I was so thrilled to know the result of the verdict today. I'm not really a fan of his (although I do recognize his work) but this has been a wildly publicized trial that as it went further, you'll be able to catch up and see what really went down and what was being fought for. Glad that the truth prevails because the evidences did not lie. I'm glad that with concrete evidences and witnessess he was able to receive justice. As for Amber Heard... goodness I'm out of words for that creature. đ Anyways, did any of you guys followed the trial as well? Were you team JD or Team AH?

Kate *freaking* Moss and Walter Hamada!!!! I was so thrilled to see them as a witness on The JD vs AH case. (Man, I'm too invested in this case, aren't I? đ) I was so surprised by the presence of Mr. Hamada in the stand, I didn't knew that he's going to testify I mean, as a president of DC films to be involved in the case? He debunked all of Amber's allegations regarding her role in Aquaman with a simple yes and no. I had literal chills when I saw Kate Moss in the stand as well. What a woman. â¤ī¸ Amber Heard's lies upon lies have been catching up on her up but I don't think she has any intention of stopping still. Whatever's going to be the result of this case, I think that JD was finally able to defend himself and clear his name against the false allegation that he said he's been carrying for the past 6 years.

My favorite band celebrated their 30th anniversary live. I've been a fan of this band since I was 14, and I'm 33 now. â¤ī¸ I was supposed to see them back in 2012 in their 20th L'Anniversary live in Singapore but a lot of things happened, the person who's supposed to help me failed me and I was not able to get my ticket on time, how I wished I just took a concert ticket in Hong Kong and watch them there instead. đ Fast forward to 2022, dang how time flies, they just finished their 2 day live performances. How I still wish that I'll still be able to see them perform live someday but the chances are getting smaller and smaller. The members are a lot older now and I don't know if they'll still pursue this or focus on their personal lives though they are still successful and they are still having sold out concert tickets. Good morning fellow Nanays! I just wanted to share, I had a pleasant surprise this morning. I pumped my slacker one and from 1 oz to 3 oz, it now produces 5 oz of breast milk! It's still smaller than my left one but I'm glad that it now pumps the same amount of milk. Wishing everyone a very blessed Saturday!

Yesterday we went to our son's pediatrician to check the rash he had in his face. Thank goodness it getting better now. He has a tendency to scratch his face a lot. Our son also loves to breasfeed a lot. He's grown quite a lot and he is only on his third month. On our last visit last April 30, he was only 5.7 kilos, yesterday when we weighed him, to our surprise he weighs 6.5 already! I guess as a nanay, nothing is quite fulfilling as to see your baby/children well nourished. I gave up a lot of my interests and hobbies so I can give my full focus on my son, and all I can say is that it's well worth it.

Hello! And here I am posting about JD vs. AH again lol (forgive me). I just saw clips of AH being cross examined by Camille Vasquez and goodness, I must say that I'm glad how her lies are being debunked in her right in her face and how she is now forced to tell the truth. That being said, it's crazy how she still tries to twist the truth. Not to mention her inexhaustible eye to eye contact with the jury. đ¤Ļ I just also saw a news that Paul McCartney seemed to have publicly shown his support for JD through one of his live performances. It's nice to see that there's someone like him who is not afraid to show his support and I hope that some artist will not be afraid to come forward and show their support as well.

Hello, fellow Nanays! I was able to donate some of my pumped breastmilk a while ago. My sister's co-employee is due and she's gathering some pumped breastmilk for her daughter just in case she will not be able to breastfeed her daughter right away. It feels so great to be able to donate for other babies. When my son was born, I was not able to breastfeed him right away for I was unconscious for a few hours and the first milk that he was able to take was donated to him as well by my sister. So I think it was a nice that I was able to give back as well.

I was able to donate some of my breast milk a few days ago. I remembered when my sister did it for me few months ago and I thought of how wonderful that was and that I couldn't wait to do it for others as well. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's trial resumes today. I really wonder how her cross examination going to be like. I thought it's going to be today but it wasn't. This actually takes me back to August of last year when Britney Spears was fighting for her freedom. I also followed through it. The trial is said to end on May 29th. Are you guys team Depp, team Amber, or team "I don't care"? đ

Do you guys know Marzia and Pewdiepie? They're an italian and swedish youtuber couple till Marzia decided to quit youtube almost 4 years ago I think. Yesterday, Pewdiepie made an update regarding their migration in Japan, after 2 years of waiting because of delay during the pandemic, they finally was able to move. â¤ī¸ I've been watching them for years and it's nice to see how they slowly get to their life goals as they are also sharing bits of their life; from being a young couple, to getting better homes/flats to live in, to being wiser in terms of handling business affairs, to being engaged, then to being married. It might be a little silly for me to be happy for this people for I am only watching them through the internet... but I am. And I find it nice to see their journey. I find them inspirimg actually. đ

Good morning! I made some oatmeal pancakes today. I grinded some oats in a food processor and followed a recipe that I found online. I also used to make these when I was pregnant and I would top them with fruit preserves or honey. đĨ° I think I'm experiencing some clogged milk ducts this morning which can be painful. I"m hoping that my baby and I will be able to sort it out within the day. đ It's a little cloudy in our place right now, how about in your place? â¤ī¸

Iced gem!!!! đĨ°â¤ī¸ I find myself being addicted to iced gem again recently. I remembered how as a child I'd only eat the royal icing part of these and just leave the rest of the biscuit. I gotta be honest, as an adult I am forcing myself now to eat the entire biscuit; but between you and I, I'd really rather eat the royal icing part still. đ

My cousin has opened up a cafe in their town but I haven't got the chance to visit it. Luckily, my husband decided to drop by their cafe last sunday. Goodness, this is one of the best tasting cafe mocha I've had in a while. I have great love for everything mocha, but most coffee stores near our place would always have a rusty after taste to them.; this one doesn't! It reminded me of magnolia's mocha ice cream that we used to have as a kid. đĨ° If you ever drop by Pagsanjan, Laguna, check out their coffee shop, Elo's cafe. â¤ī¸
