Spider-man: No Way Home Before you read on, this is will not be a glorifying review of the film but I just wanted to vent. 😅 The film was great in a manner that it provided the greatest nostalgia for every generation who grew up in each of the franchise, but when I watched the entirety of it, I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be though I'm trying to convince myself due to its recognition and hype. It didn't create the impact that it had to me when I saw the first trailer. Two words from Doc Ock and I was over the moon. The villains role except for Willem Dafoe was a little lukewarm and was not as striking like in their respective films. Tobey and Andrew mentioned during their negotiations that if they be joining the film they wouldn't want to overshadow Tom Holland which was respectful, but being the older and more experienced Spider-men as implied, I kind of didn't like the vibe that it was Tom Holland's spider-man who mas making the call for the three of them. Sure, it was his film but nevertheless, it didn't felt right in my opinion because he is the "rookie" of the team. This is just my insight though. A lot of people and critics loved and raved the film. My thoughts would've been different but I just wanted to share them anyways. How about you guys? What were your thoughts about NWH?
