The BCH Community had been in chaos because of the announcement of the BCH Meme Competition of 2020 hosted by @micropresident .
I honestly had so much FUN participating in the Meme Competition because through those memes, I was eager to know more about the BCH issues that we are facing.
Some of the BCH Community Users participated and some did not. But the fun was killed when everyone was reminded of the Read.Cash Rules that, the platform management felt that was violated.
Some examples of the entries includes these issues:
Amaury the Socialist Dictator
Marc De Mesel is Calvin Ayre Lite
Bitcoin ABC is just like core
Gasberg is a plot to ram through Avalanche
BCHN our the saviors of Bitcoin Cash from ABC
Bitcoin Cash development is decentralized, but we can't do accomplish anything because Amaury makes all the decisions
Bitcoin ABC is controlled opposition meant to destroy the big block movement!
Many entries have been censored for the said violations but what's more interesting is that @MarcDeMesel found this meme competition fun and humorous and even went far by giving 1000$.
Even @RogerVer commented on the post saying that "some of those were pretty funny"
This sudden turn of events is making us real crazy and hyped.
@micropresident also clarified his stand in this issue:
"Nothing about this meme contest was to encourage personal attacks. The fact is that personal attacks are RAMPANT in the Bitcoin Cash "community" and this contest is meant to mock those these attacks and indirectly those who make them. They mascarade as attacks against the supposed motives of certain people, but in reality attacking a person's motives is identical to attacking them as a person. This is unacceptable, and I will continue mocking everyone that continues this sort of attack."
Some are also disappointed for not being able to join the fun but here's a news.
