A week ago, LISA released her first solo out of YG Entertainment, “Rockstar.” Here is my take on the MV, which I watched and listened to for the first time as an avid fan since 2019. PROS: - Cultural Appreciation - Voice and Rap Served - Highlighted Her Skin Tone - Not Trying Hard To Be Cute CONS: - The beat doesn’t serve right Overall, I would rate it at 9/10. I hope she will create a song that still highlights her cute personality. Her song would be huge if she did that.
